Came here on a Thursday around dinner time with my family. We made reservations but it wasn't really needed because it wasn't crowded. We were seated in a comfy booth and greeted by our server Becka. Pretty cool that it was still "Happy Hour" and we ordered some appetizers and drinks from that menu. We ordered cheesey bread, loaded potatoes, drinks, and zucchini. Everything was delicious. Now on to the main event. My Father in law ordered the rib eye dinner. My son had a burger. My husband had the fried shrimp dinner. Last but not least I had the salmon dinner. We visit this restaurant often, for large family gatherings, but this last time we went the food was terrible. I am not sure why this time was different but my ribs were way over cooked and dry as well as the chicken breast that came with it. My mother ordered a French dip sandwich and she hated it. She said it was cold, soggy, and the meat had no seasoning. The only reason that I gave them any stars was the service, as always, it was outstanding. The servers were so nice and they worked their butts off because, I think, they were short staffed. The ambiance of the restaurant was the same as always, clean and roomy. We had a great experience on Thanksgiving! We had the sweetest waitress and I hope she had a wonderful Thanksgiving. She had a good sense of humor and was very nice to us. I ate here with my family and the food was delicious. It came out fast considering we had a party of 12, they even made accommodations to add an extra table to give us more space. We have a Black Angus back home (Oahu) but this location had a much larger menu and the food was fresh. The service was amazing and very attentive. Ambiance was great in the bar area! Food was good. Service terrible from SHANE!! Polite. Got my drink order, brought it out, then no bread, didn't inquire as to if I wanted water then nothing! He was coming to the booth next to mine and ignoring me. I was waiting on an appetizer and he did ask if I wanted to order and I declined at that time. After that I even made eye contact with him twice but he still ignored me. After he'd made his second trip to the booth next to mine, not stopping by. I called out loudly to him and he waved after the second shout. I then asked the other female server for the manager. Everyone else was gracious. SHANE laughed and spoke at length to other patrons but totally provided poor customer service to me. I don't know what this guy's problem is but something needs to be done. read more

Walked in Saturday night at 6pm, even though the parking lot was busy we were seated right away. Our server, Nancy, was fantastic! Every course perfectly timed, not rushed, but no long wait for food. We both order the fillet mignon, my husband's preference is rare, and his steak was cooked to perfection! My steak absolutely beautiful medium rare. They have some great deals right now, a very nice glass of wine for $5 or the whole bottle for $16. Even the regular free iced water was filtered- no nasty tap water taste. I have been wanting to come here for years but never drove here, this weekend I decided to finally see if I like their steak. We went here Saturday with my brother and his wife The service from start was ok. Once we sat down we didn't know what to order but they had a pretty good selection of items, we all ordered the summer steak deal they are advertising. With our food we tried strawberry lemon drop w/smirnoff vodka and I enjoyed a classic martini w/vodka. I don't know if it was because they had people here but the server took awhile for the bread which ended up cold, and they really messed up on my brother and his wife food and drinks. The Mgr tried to make it better but throughout the nite the food was just warm and not correct so the experience was off. Will I go back doubt it, the food wasn't memorable. read more

Recently my family started going to black angus. The first time was absolutely amazing. We had a great server we were sat in a quiet area and it was wonderful. The second time around we were sat at the bar and had a male waiter with gray hair. Possibly mid 40s. . We didn't catch his name but he was terrible. Despite asking for refills didn't refill our drinks and treated us like a burden. We chalked this experience to his lack of people skills despite being in a role that required people skills. The third time around was the final straw. It was our daughter's birthday so we were meeting at Black Angus for some dinner. I arrived prior to my husband and children so i request a table for 4 two adults two children. When I sat down they asked for drink orders. I ordered 2 waters and a kids orange and apple juice for the kids. When my family arrived all was well. The waitress we seemed great. Although she was spending a lot of time at tables of those who seemed to be regulars in between waiting on her tables. My daughter mentioned that her orange juice was burning her tongue and throat. I tasted it, and it was definitely carbonated and seemed to taste like a mimosa. I took the cap off to confirm my thoughts and it smelled just like a mimosa. My husband in disbelief took the drink from me and confirmed that it was in fact a mimosa. We flagged for the waitress and let her know that they may have mistakenly given our 6 year old a mimosa. Immediately a manager came by and the two began to gaslight us letting us know it was impossible to have given us a mimosa and instead they may have given us fermented orange juice. Without even picking up the juice at this point. They picked up the juice and said without a doubt this was fermented orange juice. They went to go check the bottle. And returned in attempt to reassure us- let us know the orange juice was prepared 7/8. Which was just 2 days prior to this incident. We understand mistakes happen, and we're thankful our daughter said something before continuing to drink the orange juice. But the dismissal and gaslighting was what had really upset us. As adults we know that fermentation of properly stored as a restaurant should be doing- does not take 2 days. And it definitely does not carbonate the drink. We have since reported them to the alcohol board for possible alcohol mishandling. And the health department for possible food storage violations. Taste tests all your children's drinks! Especially here! read more

We had such a great time at Black Angus Lancaster. It had been a long time since we had visited and The food was great! The service was exceptional. Black Angus has really stepped up the Menu. Very Yummy! But the highlight of our Visit was being helped and served by Mackenzi. She is knowledgeable, very nice, patient and friendly.
