I coffee shops if you can't tell if you follow my adventures. This one doesn't disappoint. I'm always looking for a cozy place to work from most of the time. This place fits that. Super nice staff and great vibes. Four stars for me because im not much for coffee flavor itself the other stuff in it is what makes me happy like white chocolate mochas. Caramel lattes etc....the flavor just wasn't there for my caramel latte, it was bitter with lack of the caramel flavor. They may have the best coffee you have had if you are the black with a little something in it. Give it a go!

Such a cool spot! I needed coffee and this was one of the first spots that was recommended. The coffee was delicious!! I was on a schedule so I couldn't stay long but when I'm in the area, I'll be back.

Short & sweet review to highlight the many wonderful things about this coffee shop. The location is great, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the coffee is made with care. It's pretty easy to find street parking nearby, since this shop is on the corner of Elm and Ninth. I stopped here to work remotely for a few hours on a Thursday, and I would definitely come here regularly. There was smooth R&B playing, which totally amplifies the creative, community vibe this place has. I love the wall mural and the decorative art that highlight Black culture. The prices are also right on ... I ordered a "Woah Latte" and a bagel with cream cheese, and spent about $10. The barista was extremely thorough, asking what type of milk I preferred, and how to spell my name. I also love that they feature desserts from Sweet Petit! I'll definitely be back to the intersection of Community & Culture very soon!

This was my first time checking out black coffee lounge and it was such a cool and unique experience! The service was exceptional as everyone I had encountered was very endearing and polite. It gave off such chill vibes as music played throughout the building and the workers were singing, dancing, and having a good time all while keeping up on their orders. There are some very intriguing art pieces on the walls to look at too! I ordered a swirl latte which was steamed milk with caramel and dark chocolate and I added oat milk to mine. It was very delicious and the perfect temperature! I also had a chocolate muffin which was delicious and the opposite of dry for those who hate the "m" word 10/10 recommend checking this place out if you're in the area!

Soon we can set and enjoy

A great downtown coffee shop still delivering great drinks and bites in these pandemic times. Love the Woah! Latte, so smooth and so balanced with caramel and vanilla. A mid-day small kept me going for the rest of the day. You want to talk the talk or walk the walk. If it is the latter get your rear-end down to this community-centered shop.

Awesome coffee and excellent service! Cute little coffee lounge that has delicious coffee, has friendly service and plays great music. What more could you want?! I stopped in today to pick up an Iced Coffee. I noticed all the yummy looking pastries and cookies in the display case on the counter and decided on a Red Velvet Cookie. My husband resisted the treats but ordered an Espresso. My iced coffee was blended perfectly. Rich, creamy and sweet, but not cloyingly so. It was absolutely delicious! My husband enjoyed his espresso too. They use La Terza coffee, which is excellent coffee and a favorite of ours. They sell it here by the bag also. They adhere to all pandemic protocols and there is plenty of parking nearby. We will definitely stop in again for more great coffee!

Needed to warm up and get a caffeine fix after a cold wait in line for sneakers. I had seen Black Coffee Lounge features on the Yelp Cincy Instagram page and knew I wanted to give them a try. This would be the perfect place to sit, work, and ppl watch while just taking in the vibe. There's tables to be productive and couches to chill. There's definitely a hip hop vibe throughout the whole shop, from the "It Was All A Bean" sign in the window to the music playing. I am a sucker for a lavender latte and theirs is definitely top 5. The staff was great about offering suggestions and they were super patient when I was being indecisive.

I am so glad I finally got to try this place! I just stopped in to grab an afternoon pick-me-up included in the yelp elite event and it was great! The staff were super friendly, greeted me right as I walked in and took my order. She was very quick to give me the milk options for my swirl latte, including their non-dairy options. The swirl latte is amazing, Carmel and dark chocolate, not too sweet with wonderful flavor. They also had some really yummy looking bakery options, I can't wait to go back and try more menu items. I'd definitely recommend stopping in and supporting this locally owned coffee shop! The place is super cool, once the pandemic has calmed down this would be an awesome place to meet friends and hang out, I love the art work on the walls and the overall vibe, I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Love this addition to Cincy! The environment is so friendly and comfortable. The employees are extremely friendly and personable. It makes the visit so much better. I have gotten the lavender latte and the whoa! The lavender latte was a perfect balance of sweetness & floral. The WHOA was on the sweeter side but still amazing! I also got the vegan chai muffin which was very delicious. I have found a new favorite place. I can't wait for this place to open up fully, it'll be a great place to hang out and drink delicious coffee!

I LOVE IT HERE! From the ambience to the friendly staff to the awesome, best in class drinks. Today, my son enjoyed his Iced Mocha Latte and I enjoyed my Chai Latte with Almond Milk. Honestly, Black Coffee blows the national coffee houses out of the water. SUPPORT LOCAL.

The most memorable bites of the day were the karaage (some of the best I've had) and the mochi mochi panic. Every dish was phenomenal. Service was impeccable and the staff were all so kind. Overall it was a bit overfilled so it was very messy and hard to eat. I could have done without the hidden coconut shavings inside. KIMCHI & EGG CROISSANT 5 I had this one for breakfast. I warmed it in my air fryer for 6 minutes on 330 so it didn't overcook. The croissant was flaky and delicious, and the kimchi added good flavor without being spicy. I would have liked to see a little more mozzarella but overall it was tasty! SOBACHA CHOCOLATE CHUNK COOKIE 4 Also tasty, oversized cookie. Soft and chewy texture. CINNAMON ALMOND BLUEBERRY TOAST (THURSDAY/FRIDAY ONLY) 5.25 Very good. The cinnamon filling reminded me of a brown sugar pop tart. I warmed it in my air fryer and it was perfect. Would order again. I just wish they had an espresso bar!

Title: A Perfect Date-Night Spot…read more Caffè Vivace is an absolute gem! The drinks were fantastic, and the Guinness was poured perfectly--always a good sign. The ambiance was exactly what you want for a date night: warm, intimate, and inviting without feeling pretentious. The live music was the perfect touch--intimate enough to enjoy a conversation, never too loud, and the musicians sounded amazing. The service really rounded out the experience. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. Great drinks, great atmosphere, incredible music, and outstanding service made for a truly memorable evening. Caffè Vivace has definitely earned a spot on our list of favorite date-night destinations. Highly recommend!

Music could be loud as the venue is very small and you will be very close to the stage. They have two nice unisex bathrooms at the back of the stage. The music and performance were AMAZING! We sat at the bar seats next to the stage, which gave us a unique view--we could see how the performers interacted, the music sheets, their expressions, and more. A GREAT experience! Service & food: They charge a $15 admission fee, and each person must also order at least $15 worth of food or drinks--otherwise, you'll be charged the difference at the end. However, the food options are very limited, and the drinks are mid... I wish they would improve the menu and drink quality. I think the music is totally worth it, but the food and minimum spend policy could use some adjustment. 3.5/5

We were able to visit on a weeknight for a cozy bedtime drink. We had nearly the whole place to ourselves so I'd love to see more people utilize this quiet lovely spot for studying or socializing. While we just got a drink, the food menu looked delish. They had a hot honey and goat cheese toast that looked amazing. Their seasonal fall drink menu was also super unique; the barista recommended the sweet potato chai which had cinnamon bun notes and I noticed an apple lemonade too?! Yum. We got two of the menu classics. The Lavender London Fog and the Golden Milk Tea Latte. I didn't get strong lavender notes until the end when I noticed the syrup had settled all on the bottom. I would have used a stirrer in retrospect. But I still enjoyed my drink a lot. My husband told me that he liked how the golden milk had notes of turmeric- I had to explain what golden milk was haha! He really enjoyed it for his first one. The barista was friendly and patient with us and our toddler, who was practicing walking all over the shop. Oh, and parking is a breeze- there is public parking right outside the shop in a convenient lot. Definitely will be back, this spot is a huge asset to the neighborhood.

They also offer their own coffee beans for purchase and other items. I didn't get to try it when I stopped in, but was excited to see the birthday flight on the menu. It looks like something really fun to try and share with a friend, sampling 4 different drinks from the menu (for an excellent price). Service was great, even on a day where they seemed pretty busy. They kept the line down and kept conversation with the customers so it didn't feel like a wait. Lastly, I love the expansion of the community information at the front counter. It gives the coffee shop a true feeling of "all are welcome here" and support for each other.
