First time visit and I enjoyed it! Just a nice little 'hole in the wall' mom and pop coffee shop. The shop itself was cozy and reminded me of going to my grandparents house...which is never a bad thing. I came here for a work meeting to get away from the office. It was quite and the staff was very accommodating. It took me a bit to figure out what I wanted but settled on a french vanilla, caramel Frappe. It was delicious, ice perfectly blended, and not overly sweet. The atmosphere was very relaxing and a nice break away from crazy work flow. Overall, I enjoyed this coffee shop and hope to go again soon. I enjoyed feeling like I was at my grandparents house, seeing the inspirational quotes/scriptures hanging up, and there was a little prayer box. I am so happy i stumbled upon this coffee shop! I was in the neighborhood for a meeting and tried 3 different Starbucks locations. All inaccessible as they were located in buildings. I was just driving past and saw the sign to I Am Coffee and decided to give it a go. I'm so glad I did. The coffee is amazing but the warm hospitality is what pushes it over the edge. Went one morning with a friend and ordered chai latte. There were not many people so was able to order right away. I always use a milk substitute such as soy or almond milk. She was able to make it fast. The tea was a little weak but I am sure it could be made stronger. I ordered an iced and hot chai drink. The iced was better for me. I like my tea strong. I would go back because it is convenient and close by. I could work from there or have meetings. I would have to play around with how I like it prepared. So I had an appointment up this way and figured I get a coffee. I was just going to go to a Dunkin' or place like such but I seen this on Apple Maps and I am so happy I did! Parking is a bit hard to find but there was a lot up the street a bit. I got a Milky Way iced coffee and boy o boy it was amazing! They even had almond milk which I was happy about. I decided to give this place a try on my way to work one day. I got there around 9:30am and the pastries/baked goods options were a little limited. The items I liked were sold out. I will attempt to get there earlier next time! I ordered a hot vanilla chai latte with almond milk and a blueberry scone. The chai tasted a bit weak, but it wasn't bad and the scone was good! This area of town has some great architecture and has been revitalized in recent years. JuJu Beans opened in 2015 and is a small family run business. The decor is SO CHARMING! So excited to have a new coffee place in St. B's! Very cute little place, solid drinks, baked goods and lunches at very low prices, plenty of place to study, free wifi, free parking in St. Bernard. The owners came by our table several times to refill our coffee and check on us, and gave us some donuts on the house near closing time. The shop is pretty new, so I don't think they have a website yet, but it had a very nice ambiance, and I look forward to seeing how it grows. I've missed this little St. Bernard gem when driving through on Vine Street, but glad I stopped in with my laptop. They have (free) parking in the lot behind the building. Service was friendly; I just had a cup of coffee, but they offer pastries and a full lunch menu. There's some comfy chairs/couches for lounging and tables in the back and free wifi. It's the kind of place that feels like it's a bit of the living room for the neighborhood as regular customers walk in and are called by name and stop for conversation. While some of the space looked like it was still a work in progress, I was able to sit and get some email taken care of an have a decent cup of coffee. This place is a great addition to the neighborhood and is located conveniently to meet up with friends or colleagues. read more

Visited Ju Ju Beans Coffee on a Tuesday morning around 9am and found free public parking just a few steps up the sidewalk. They have creative coffee mug signage which makes it easy to locate. When I first walked in I was treated by three people working different stations. You'll first see the donut case, and I decided to grab a tigers tail. If the name sounds familiar, it's because they offer donuts from Buskens bakery. Took a few steps in to check out the menu board, which at the time was limited to drip coffee/tea, lattes and hot chocolate. Its possible I was looking at the specials but I didn't see another menu board. Decided on ordering a hazelnut latte. The flavor was okay. I would have preferred it to be more hot; but so didn't try it until after I left. Maybe if there is a next time, I'll try a cappuccino with less milk. There are some comfortable looking sofas and what's looks to be a family dinning table available for seating. Take your time and enjoy the cute and funny decor. read more

Let me start by saying I have tried this place 3 different times in the past 3 years. The first time I went, they had a gas station cappuccino machine as their primary way of making "espresso drinks". They also have different flavorings on their menu board to choose from, but it was just Coffee Mate flavored creamer... When I get a drink flavoring, I assume it will be with syrup, not creamer. And they just pour the creamer straight from the store bought container, so they don't even try to disguise it haha. Was disappointed The second time I went, they got rid of the gas station machine, which was nice. I grabbed a donut (they had Buskin baked goods), and an iced latte and went on my way. Both were just okay. I decided to try them out again last week. I love supporting local businesses and knew they had a name change so I was thinking maybe they were under new ownership as well. I ordered a vanilla cold brew coffee and a french toast muffin. As I looked around, I saw that all of their food items: bagels, breads, granola bars, etc, were Kroger brand (still in the branded packaging). This isn't a huge deal, but I go to coffee shops to get something I cant get at my own house. If you choose to use food items that aren't from local bakeries or made in house, and charge as if they were, it may look better to have them out of their packaging and in a display case to at least give the illusion that they are? In addition to that, the woman made my vanilla cold brew (that did look to be made in house) with Coffee Mate French Vanilla creamer... again. I gave it a chance anyway, but it was so sweet and dense from the excess of creamer, that I couldn't drink it (my coffee looked like milk). I gave this place a few tries and was let down each time. While the staff is friendly and the store is cute and cozy, they are charging coffee shop prices for drinks and food items you can make at home for a fraction of the price. Getting a drink at a coffee shop is a "luxury" that I treat myself to every few weeks. I expect to get crafted beverage that I cannot make myself. I am willing to pay for that luxury, and did not get that here. I really wanted to like this place and make it a go to spot, but I don't consider this to be a legitimate coffee shop. I'll hold out hope that one day they decide to switch things up and improve their product. read more

Sweet neighborhood coffee shop with decent, cheap coffee, pastries, and boxed lunches. We paid just over $4 for a large regular coffee and a large iced coffee. There is plenty of seating, so would be a great place for a casual lunch meeting or to remote office. read more

I AM coffee is a great little gem nestled in a cute and up and coming neighborhood. The owners tell me that that the shop was originally started to bring the community together. The atmosphere is great and the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. I've only been a few times but every time I go the staff remembers my complicated order. Great place, lovely environment, great for family and friends, staff is very friendly, food is great, they serve sandwiches such as ham, turkey,roast beef on your choose of white, wheat, pretzel, a few others.
