They have several kinds of sweetener to choose from so people can sweeten to taste. Good cookies. Ground coffee is pricey, but good. We get the pecan sticky bun or cinnamon coffee cake. They have lots of different syrups, and a really good selection of sugar free syrups. They have oat and almond milk. No soy milk, which is surprising. I wish they offered soy milk. The only issues I have is that they close the lower level an hour before they close the shop. Something I didn't know until the employee started vacuuming around us and told us to move. They also had locked the side door, meaning we had to walk up the stairs, even though one of us is disabled and walks with a cane. That's why we entered from the lower level door. The lack of empathy was pretty shocking. If you're open until 5, you should be open until 5 on both levels. Pretty disappointed.

This last time I ordered a signature drink, I dont know if it was made wrong, but it tasted horrible, I could taste the grounds. So, I asked for a new drink. No apology for making a terrible drink, just charged me for a new one and literally told me it was my fault for ordering something bad. Customer service has become terrible, not worth the stop anymore when I'm back in town. There are better options. Seriously, how hard would that have been to fix the situation and offer a refund or not charge me for a new drink.

Oftentimes when I order my usual, it is either a bit too bitter or a bit too sweet, but the balance of this latte was a near perfect blend of flavor and espresso. It is easily a Top 10 for me. My friend said his Matcha Tea was pretty good. He had to explain to me what he ordered as I had never heard of it before. If you like their coffee a lot, they roast it themselves and you can get it in a multitude of flavors. They also offers some unique chocolates, which my friend bought and liked. They have these cool things that you stir in Hot Cocoa and it dissolves, giving it a new flavor. I want to go back and get a few of those things before winter fully hits! There appears to be art on one wall that is for sale. I didn't get a good look at them but they looked cool from afar. There is also a pretty decent-sized jewelry set up, if you need to accessorize while picking up some coffee. Black Maple was no different. A perfect blend of milk, espresso and caramel made this one place I would love to re-visit. It would've scored a perfect 5, but they are a walk-up/drive-thru only, so if it was a rainy day, it could possibly affect trying to get something from there. Also, they could've used some benches outside, but since it is located in the parking lot of a hotel, they are doing great with what they have.
