Scrambled eggs were not creamy or fluffy, but dry like they were cooked with very little or no butter. Bacon was not crisp strips as it should be served, especially for a place with the word "Griddle" in it's name. Bacon was small curly pieces that were not crispy. Served with scoop style fries. Breakfast priced at $15. Soft drink is $5 additional. Hamburger is small to medium size, $15 with scoop style fries and nothing special unfortunately. Prices are higher on the bill than they are on menu due to a credit card surcharge. Pay cash and you get menu price. read more

Didn't get our food after 40 minutes and when it did arrive it was horrible. Our server didn't even come by to apologize or tell us what was going on and gave a vague answer when we asked after 30 minutes. Got my order wrong for the Tres pancakes without any of the strawberries and cream and when they brought it back out, it had 4 tiny slices on it. Also, I'm a bad chef and I'm confident I could make better pancakes. They were soaked and collapsed whenever I touched them with no fluff or anything. My dad's burger looked worse than an In N Out Burger and was like $14. The only time I post a Yelp review is when I either hate or absolutely love the place. This is the former. Maybe we got unlucky, but for so much to go wrong with bad service, slow service, and poor food makes me quite certain I'll never give this place another chance. read more

I really wanted to love this place. We live right down the road and finally got the chance. What a let down. I ordered the avocado bacon Benedict. It was horrible! The English muffin was sitting in the water from the eggs, which were slimy/runny. Maybe 1 piece of bacon split in half. The topper.. the avacado was paper thin and BROWN. COVERED in too much mediocre hollandaise. It was a bowl of soup. The pisser is it got pass 2 employees that probably wouldn't even eat it. I tried, they didn't. read more

Food quality is OK. Portion sizes are small. Drinks are WAY overpriced. We paid over $10 for 2 fountain drinks. It costs them like 5 cents each to pour. The owners happened to be sitting in the restaurant eating. I gave them my honest opinion about the drink prices and they gave a care not. They said the drink prices were average compared to other restaurants in the area. Hogwash. Might want to cover up some of those tattoos as well if you want to project a better image to your guests. Safe to say we will not be returning to this place. I'd rather pay a couple bucks more somewhere else where I feel like I am getting my money's worth. read more

Complete shambles for food, table next to us waited over 1 hour for food and actually we're served their to-go order before their actual meals. Then order came out wrong. Kitchen said they lost our ticket and order after 40 minutes waiting. The restaurant was only about 70% occupied. Truly no excuses for their disorganization and waiting times for food. They delivered part of our order for 2 people and the other part of order didn't arrive for considerable time after. Absolutely poor organization and will give props to the server who was caught in the middle. This kitchen is a complete disaster and Absolutely apparent they have no idea of how to properly operate. Food was average at best. Sorry to see a small mom and pop restraunt be destroyed by an incompetent staff and understanding that maintaining complete oversight by owners and allowing the staff to destroy all your hard work. read more

Great new spot in Henderson!! Much needed brunch spot has finally come. The mimosas are really good and the michelada was delicious. We had the breakfast burrito and the steak and eggs. We devoured everything. The fries with cojita on them is a great touch. The service was great and friendly. The owner is even walking around helping out and taking orders. Great service and food. We have been here several times on our recent visit we went on Mother's Day and the wait was minimal. I had the breakfast burrito and the Mango Mimosa they were delicious. Went to this place for lunch today after seeing it on TikTok! The service was amazing! We were greeted right away and seated quickly! It was busy but I still felt taken care of and truly respected. My family and I really enjoyed our food, and my kids are on the picky side. They loved their French toast! I had the club Sandwich and my husband had a burger both delicious. Black Mountain Griddle has been on my places to try as a Henderson Local. We went in for breakfast on a Saturday morning around 11, it wasn't busy. We were sat and a server took our order to help out but we were never greeted by our server. Slow refills, 40 minutes waiting on cold, unfinished food. Our omelet came lukewarm without melted cheese. I never got my toast or pancakes. My husband sent back all of his food, I was still charged $30 for an omelette, coffee and missing toast. Horrible service and no accountability. read more

What a fantastic experience! The staff here were so attentive and friendly from start to finish, and the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the breakfast burrito with sausage and bacon -- it was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. My kids all loved their meals too: one had the tres leches pancakes (he finished every bite!), another had the chicken tenders and fries and has been begging to go back ever since, and my oldest couldn't stop raving about the mac and cheese burger. The owner even came out to greet us personally and brought over a concha ice cream sandwich to try -- and wow, it was one of the best desserts I've had in a long time! Overall, this place is a gem. Summary- EXTREMELY over priced, lackluster food, KIND staff. My husband and I live near this restaurant and decided to try it out. First thing we noticed was how amazing the staff members were. They were kind, professional and proficient. The restaurant itself is clean and well decorated. Ultimately I'm disappointed with the food and the pricing. My husband and I spent $70 for breakfast which is absolutely ridiculous. My husband got the chicken and waffles (2 medium sized chicken strips and ONE small waffle, no sides come with this meal) I got the "special" of the day, the Bananas Foster waffle. (ONE singular small waffle with a quarter of a banana on top, no sides come with this meal) Because the meals don't come with any sides, we orders a side of bacon (2 pieces) and potato wedges (they don't have hash browns). Each plate averaged about $30 which is atrocious for a singular waffle and a protein. Portion sizes are nothing to write home about, flavor fell short as well. Not bad, but not worth the price. Unfortunately I don't think I can recommend this place. Omelette house a couple miles away, half the price and better food. read more

Just a warning so others know. My husband loves a classic club sandwich. So much so that we go around town trying new places and I have a list of places with a club that he likes. A lot of the places don't make the cut because they have fancy breads or aioli or change it so it's not actually a club. So when we saw that there was a new breakfast/brunch spot that had a classic club, he was very excited. My breakfast was good, I really liked their potatoes. The club however does not have "mayo" on it as the menu says. It's a garlic mayo or aioli on it which was very overpowering and all you could taste on the sandwich was garlic. My husband also has heart burn and acid reflux issues and one bite immediately had him going to the bathroom with a flare up. If he had known it wasn't just regular white mayo, he wouldn't have ordered it. We didn't say anything because we hate doing that and he did order it but I wanted to share in case anyone else orders thinking it's just a normal club. read more

15$ for prison food breakfast :( i was looking forward to having a small business breakfast spot next to the house so i was really disappointed to have oscar myer like ham slices on my plate for that price. Potatoes were unseasoned and eggs were slimy i would have been better off making food at home. I hope quality improves because i would hate to see another small biz go under. I'm local to the area and finally got a chance to try BMG. Went in for a late breakfast on a Monday. My server was fantastic, attentive and friendly. I ordered their biscuits and gravy breakfast with a side of fruit. The potatoes that came with it were great! Well seasoned and cooked to perfection. My eggs were prepared properly. The fruit was fresh, and came with at least 6 different fruits. The biscuit and gravy was PHENOMENAL! Amongst the best I've ever had. Thanks BMG staff, see you all again soon for sure. read more
