    Breakfast burrito

Had late breakfast/ lunch with friends at Black Mountain Griddle. It's located in the spot that used to be occupied by Il Chianti restaurant on Horizon Ridge. We went on a Friday, it was not busy at all. The food was good. The service was friendly. Quick for the most part. Ambiance: clean airy diner. I would go back if looking for a quick uncomplicated meal. They do serve dinner a couple of days a week also. The waitress said that the are serving some of chef Rudy's (Il Chianti) pasta dishes which he trained them on before they opened.

Nice and clean when you walk in, we were greeted immediately by friendly staff and seated promptly. After a few minutes our server came with water, took our drink order and took our food order. She warned us that "the kitchen is dealing with quite a few orders" and to expect a wait. Odd but ok. We waited 35 minutes for our food to hit the table and we had to ask a different server where it was to receive it because our server was hiding in the kitchen. This would be understandable in a larger restaurant but this is a diner in a strip mall. When it did arrive, my order was partially wrong (I ordered eggs over easy and they arrived scrambled). Our server took away my entire plate to fix the eggs and I got to sit without food while they fixed it. The portions were very small, everything lacked seasoning, our server kinda left us for dead, and everything costs the same as any other restaurant. A gentleman did come apologize and comp half of our meal cost, so that's nice, but this being our first experience here, honestly means it'll likely be our last.

This place has so much more to it than expected when you visit! We heard about the food and decided to try them out since we are so close. So glad we did! First, our waiter was the friendliest! She took her time answering our questions and helping us to decide on what to choose. The Eggs Benedict was so good! My honey loved his hamburger as well. We will be coming back to try other items from the menu.

Great service, nice and quiet ( atleast when we were there on a weekday between10:00 am and 11: 00) . Waitress acknowledged us right away, which is great. We had Black Mountain Breakfast ( your traditional breakfast) Eggs, choice of bacon or sausage, breakfast potatoes and choice of toast. Tasted great. The ambience was nice and relaxing. Definitely happy with the service we received. The food was very good. Definitely a good place to go for Breakfast, lunch and Dinner! Go out, have a great meal!

Great service. Waitress was new but very friendly and helpful. My chicken and waffles was delicious. They described the chicken as chicken tenders but it was more like chicken breast pieces Mel got the skillet.

A group of 6 of us went to Black Mountain Griddle today for the first time. We met the owner who was very friendly and told us about the restaurant. I ordered the avocado, bacon eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was amazing.

This place is so cute and the staff are very sweet. The breakfast burrito was super flavorful 10/10. The stuffed French toast with banana and Nutella was the perfect breakfast choice to split among the table 10/10.

Bacon isn't burnt. I asked for it that way!

Had the pleasure of stumbling upon this place while searching for a breakfast spot to kill some time. Keilani was my server and she was beyond helpful. Love the old school black and white photos hanging in the hallway on the way to the restroom. My avocado toast and side of bacon was both tasty and nice to look at: because we all know we eat with our eyes first. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Right off the bat! SERVICE with a SMILE! I'm stoked to have this local breakfast spot in our neighborhood. The food was made with love and energy, the staff was friendly and Steffen the Owner is right there to make sure everything is great! Having a quality oriented location that actually serves APPLEWOOD SMOKED BACON . That warms my heart, the breakfast burrito was the first item i ordered here and it was, jsut right for the price, it was extremely filling, and it came with salsa verde... mind you i walked in at 255 PM and i wasn't sure if i was going to be served. Not only did the burrito fill me.... It made me come back with my wife today! The ambiance is sooooo needed in black mountain!! Come by and try something new every time! They have lots of different events, such as paint and sip evening coming up on December 6! On Wednesdays, the wings are 10% off between 11 and 3 PM and the house sauce is absolutely amazing. If you're here early bird, between 7 and 9 AM you'll get 15% off, which I highly recommend. See you there soon!!

Breakfast selection and quality is great . Give them a try and you won't be disappointed

Open for dinner on Thursday to Saturday. Food is excellent and so much to choose from on the menu. They have pasta chicken entrees. Great spot to get your food on.

Wife and I waited over 30 minutes after being seated, only for my wife to be served avocado toast, which ODDLY cost more than my steak and eggs and featured a few shreds of avocado on barely toasted white bread. After expressing our disappointment, no manager comes over to apologize and make it right. Nope, they sent the server over to say we have to be charged extra to add some avocado. If it's too expensive to serve a proper portion, 86 that plate. Also, you do NOT make the server take it in the chin for your poor decisions. Management had an unapologetic take it or leave it attitude. Ok...We'll go right ahead and leave it. Best of luck as wallets continue to shrink.

Came here for breakfast and it did not disappoint. Lovely service by Ari ( not sure how she spells it). I got the breakfast tacos with side pancake and my husband the biscuit and gravy with side pancake. We're both enjoyed everything, even our black coffee. The only thing negative is could say, is that it's a little pricey. But I guess most things are these days.

This was supposed to be a skillet breakfast, but there is no skillet in sight. It is scrambled eggs on a bed of french fries

The burger tastes like I grilled it on the BBQ in the backyard. And the brioche bun elevates the whole thing. The chicken sandwich has crispy bacon and is a good portion. I arrived around lunch time there was only a couple other patrons and I was welcomed in by the staff. The server was very attentive if not a bit over attentive consistently checking if I needed anything or wanted more coffee which meant I had as much coffee as I wanted and I had a lot since it is pretty tasty. As for the food itself I ordered a stack of the banana walnut pancakes with strawberries & whipped cream and in a combo with eggs, sausage and garlic potatoes. The food was good I enjoyed the garlic potatoes a lot and the pancakes were also decent however not much of a banana flavor was to be found unfortunately. I did walk away satisfied with my meal and not finishing all of it due to the large portion of the pancakes the only real sticking point was the cost prior to tip being close to $28 which is a bit much for breakfast although I ordered one of the pricier items but making coffee or any other drink $4 is pricey compared to similar breakfast/brunch establishments. As compared to the emerald island grille which I view as the closest competitor pacific diner is better in quality their coffee alone is way better than anything at Emerald however the cost is much higher especially for most breakfast items where the cost is double that of the same item at Emerald. Overall I would recommend trying this place out and I will return to try some of the other menu items I am interested in.

So yeah first time and we stated this to our server Naveah. We sat close to the bar. We were approached and ordered drinks. Brunch basics. I said I understand this is the home of the Championship Bloody Mary (2025 Hammers Bar Contest) yes it is. I ordered it and well it was pretty basic, not bad, not spectacular but that's okay! We ordered an app, Coma Rolls, took a while to come out and we expected to get entrees at the same time, nope app came first-good. But it came minus the Turkey Gravy. When we got the servers attention and asked she went to the kitchen and returned to tell us the chef said that it wasn't ready yet and would take another 20 min.?? Did we want White Gravy? No fine food comes out looking great. My Salmon Salad, when she proudly stated it was Sushi Grade Salmon I was sold was really overdone The remainder of the salad was very enjoyable. My wife asked for a Club Lightly Toasted- no problem. It was Super Toasted and hard to eat for her. Also the menu said House Smoked Turkey, sorry but this is sliced Deli Turkey from a supplier. The Strawberry smash was really hard to drink due to the chunks of muddled strawberry in the bottom of the glass and the slim straw. Would have been better made from fresh purée and a bigger straw. So you are probably thinking I am being picky. Well perhaps but when you go out a place really needs to make your visits memorable in order to get you to come back. Not saying we won't but... No Wow Factor!

Located in a small little shopping center, this place is definitely tucked away but super easy to find. Parking can be scarce so I would either recommend in getting there very early or a little bit later in the morning. When you open the door, the first thing you are greeted with is the pastry rack in front of you. I swear, I gained 10 lb. Just looking at it. So many amazing things to look at and see absolutely wonderful. Another thing I have to brag about is how friendly everyone is there. You walk in the door and you are greeted literally by everyone. Really makes you feel at home and invited in to experience everything that they have. I opted for the tiramisu latte, and it was fantastic! Definitely had a perfect coffee flavor, and the terramisu flavoring was not overly sweet but actually was perfect. I had the bacon breakfast croissant with egg and it was wonderful. Perfectly balanced, the flavors were there, and the bacon was excellent! This is definitely one we are going to add for our go-to breakfast places when in Vegas. Super excited to try everything on the menu! Bottom line? If you have not gone to horizon shine, you are missing out. Top of your must-go places and I swear you will not be disappointed! You will probably see me there again! If so, feel free to buy me a pastry.
