We have been wanting to try this new breakfast spot since they opened, but every time we drove by, the wait looked too long. We recently discovered their "wait in line" feature on the app, and it made the experience so easy! The app estimated a 10-20 minute wait, and by the time we arrived about 15 minutes later, we were taken straight to our table. From the hostess to the wait staff, everyone was incredibly friendly and genuinely seemed happy to be there, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. We ordered the Traditional Breakfast and the Tri-Fecta Breakfast, and we were shocked by the size of the pancake -- huge! Everything was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. One of the little touches we really appreciated was having a carafe of coffee and water right on the table so we could refill as needed without constantly needing to flag down staff. Outdoor seating is very, very comfortable. I've been here twice in 10 days, my experience was the same each time. Food is so-so (some good, some just okay) but the service is lacking. First visit they gave us 1 water carafe for 6 people. I asked for a 2nd one, she never brought it out so I had to go inside and find the water myself. I also had to ask for straws etc because she gave us none :( Rest of the meal there was minimal service. 2nd visit same situation, very minimal service, 1 carafe for 6 people and I had to go inside and find someone to give me 2 extra carafes of water. I came to try First Watch for the first time on Saturday at 11ish. I was able to get on the waitlist on their website and then got sat right away when I came to check in. The server was nice but did not take our order for at least 20 min and then after our food came we never saw her again until needing the check. It seemed pretty busy so definitely not her fault but probably sat her too many tables. The inside is very cute and the have a pretty big patio area which i enjoyed. The food was average. I got the pick 2, half salad and half sandwhich is was good but like i said just average. The menu says it is sourdough toast which it definitely does not look like to me, just regular white bread. We came here on Valentine's Day brunch. We waited for about an hour for our table. I didn't know we can get on the waitlist ahead of time. There is a small waiting area inside. It took awhile to order since it was busy. I ordered the chimichurri steak hash and my boyfriend ordered the elevated egg sandwich. He upgraded to the million dollar bacon for 99 cents more. The food came out in about 15 min. At first they barely gave me any chimichurri sauce so the waitress gave me extra after I asked her. The meat was really tender and good portion. We had been watching this First Watch get built forever, my wife and I were seriously counting down to opening day. Of course I was out of town for work when it finally opened but as soon as I got back we made breakfast there a priority. Overall... kinda mixed, but mostly good. The hostess didn't seem super thrilled to see us, but we asked to sit outside anyway... which turned out to be a mistake. We were literally the only ones on the patio and it felt like we were completely forgotten. Took about 25 minutes before anyone even checked on us . We finally ordered drinks and coffee, and the hostess (who actually was very nice) dropped them off and disappeared which was rough because after that long wait we were more than ready to order food. Once we did order though -- totally different story. The food was legit really good. The check out system you can pay by phone or head to the front. It was unfortunate, they don't have credit card mobile handlers so you have a plethora of options. She apologized for the delay and offered me a complementary beverage while I waited. This was thoughtful and very much appreciated. The restaurant is clean, well designed and user friendly allowing for smooth movement throughout. Overall, the food was ok but the service was great. The patio is a great option with heaters and beautiful mountain views in the distance. Since it is new and very popular, the wait is usually around 45 minutes or more. They do a good job keeping you updated with text messages on your wait status. There are about 10 bar seats available, which is a nice option if you want to avoid a long wait. My friends and I ordered the tri fecta, the power wrap with fruit, and the avocado toast. Everything was delicious, and the million dollar bacon is a must. They offer a few iced coffee options along with regular coffee, and you can request oat milk. I also appreciated that they leave the coffee carafe on the table. First off, I want to give a shout out to Autumn. She was absolutely fabulous. So friendly and helpful. Anyone that sits in her section is lucky. She made sure to keep checking in on drinks and if anything was needed, which feels like such a lost cause at most places anymore. Next off was the food. The quality, size and price was great. Everything was delicious and cooked just right. Autumn made sure to ask on how we liked our bacon (which was a huge bonus to us), the poached eggs were also cooked perfectly. People entering the restaurant have to walk right through the middle of the game. Not a big deal if the people playing are respectful. The service was excellent. The food was great. We stumbled upon a very unique restaurant front that resembled the same characteristics as our favorite ocean area food spots in California. Being locals we are always in that area and it encompasses one of the busiest streets in the southeast side of the vegas valley. We were greeted from the front door by a hostess ready to take our names down on the iPad. It being open for less than two weeks we understood the chaotic atmosphere like every restaurant at its beginning stages We ordered the infamous bacon as a starter and boy it was met with a great mixture of sweetness and peppery goodness to start our morning breakfast. The chickinchimaga had a great buttery toasted crust with a good amount of stripped dark meat chicken along with their specific hollindaise sauce that completed the tangy, cheesy, yet very savory experience. The upgraded million dollar potatoes of a mix of cheesy bacon good ness was the perfect match. My only gripe was there was just too much onions for my taste on the burrito. The chillaquilles was perfect with the toasty tortilla chips and barbacoa. Meat was full of flavor and had enough protein to complete the meal. Today was my third visit to First Watch. We got there early, so the restaurant was only half full. We were greeted by our server. Sofia, who had a big smile for us. Today, we tried something different than the past two times. We began with the Trifecta, which comes with two eggs, choice of multi-grain pancake or Belgian waffle, and choice of bacon, smoked ham, apple sausage patties, or pork sausage links. We opted for the waffle and sausage links. My wife ordered an additional egg as we were sharing the meal. The waffle was delicious, light, with just a small amount of crisp on the outside. It was topped with mixed berry compote and cinnamon sugar. We also received some warm syrup. Sausage was excellent, and the links were good size. My only issue were my over easy eggs. I've been watching this place being built for the last 9 months, and was super excited to see it open. So I didn't want to miss an opportunity to go have breakfast. Super easy to find on Eastern avenue, it's right next to the Starbucks. Very modern yet warm and inviting exterior. The other hot tip is upgrade your potatoes to the million dollar potatoes which includes chopped up pieces of the million dollar bacon, and this amazing parmesan sauce that is just astounding. Of course I had to do my ultimate test, which is the glass of milk with breakfast. I got to tell you first watch nailed it with flying colors. We checked in at 11:01 for a party of five. I completely understand that Sunday brunch comes with a wait, that is expected. What was frustrating was the lack of communication and the inconsistency in how seating was handled. We were never given an initial wait time. Around 11:20, a couple walked in and talked to the host, then a server came out, spoke with the host holding the tablet and said he would take them to his section. They were seated even though they were not on the list, effectively bypassing two guys who had already been waiting. From a guest perspective, that did not feel fair. At 11:27, I went up to ask how much longer the wait would be and was told about 20 more minutes. I asked if the wait would be shorter if we were willing to sit outside, and he said yes. I told him we were open to whatever became available first. Despite that, we were still seated outside at 11:53, well over the additional 20 minutes quoted. To add to the confusion, another party of five who checked in around 11:30 was seated at 11:45 before us. I was later told that they had put their name on the list before arriving. The restaurant does not take reservations, but you are allowed to add your name to the waitlist ahead of time before even getting there. That is essentially a reservation. Other restaurants like Magic Noodle and China Mama, even with 45 minute to over an hour waits, only allow you to join the list once you physically arrive, which keeps it consistent and fair for everyone. Allowing early list placement without clearly explaining how it works creates confusion and uneven expectations. Once seated, service continued to feel inconsistent. Our server Alex was very nice, but when my nephew asked if his steak for the steak and eggs could be cooked medium rare, he was told it only comes as is and was directed to the photo on the seasonal menu. We were initially given two coffee mugs even though there were three adults at the table, so we had to ask for a third. We also never received any refills on our drinks. Most of our food arrived around 12:17, but my nephew's steak and eggs did not come out with the rest of the meals. At 12:25, Alex came out, scanned the table, and pointed out that were still missing the steak and eggs. I also had to remind her about the water we had requested earlier. When the steak and eggs finally arrived, the steak and potatoes were cold, while the omelette on top was warm. The price point itself was reasonable and not the issue. The food overall was okay. However, the experience felt disorganized from start to finish.
