Had late breakfast/ lunch with friends at Black Mountain Griddle. It's located in the spot that used to be occupied by Il Chianti restaurant on Horizon Ridge. We went on a Friday, it was not busy at all. The food was good. The service was friendly. Quick for the most part. Ambiance: clean airy diner. I would go back if looking for a quick uncomplicated meal. They do serve dinner a couple of days a week also. The waitress said that the are serving some of chef Rudy's (Il Chianti) pasta dishes which he trained them on before they opened.

We ordered steak and egg tacos. What we received was maybe two very small pieces of chopped steak and a bunch of over cooked eggs. It was supposed to have peppers in them one of them did the others not so much. We asked if they could bring more steak, and they did some over cooked pieces. We asked for the check, and I asked why I was paying for this meal and was told they have to call the manager to come in he's not present in the store. I couldn't wait so left while paying for sub par food. And I can't for get the over 5 dollar lemonade. Refillable lol

Nice and clean when you walk in, we were greeted immediately by friendly staff and seated promptly. After a few minutes our server came with water, took our drink order and took our food order. She warned us that "the kitchen is dealing with quite a few orders" and to expect a wait. Odd but ok. We waited 35 minutes for our food to hit the table and we had to ask a different server where it was to receive it because our server was hiding in the kitchen. This would be understandable in a larger restaurant but this is a diner in a strip mall. When it did arrive, my order was partially wrong (I ordered eggs over easy and they arrived scrambled). Our server took away my entire plate to fix the eggs and I got to sit without food while they fixed it. The portions were very small, everything lacked seasoning, our server kinda left us for dead, and everything costs the same as any other restaurant. A gentleman did come apologize and comp half of our meal cost, so that's nice, but this being our first experience here, honestly means it'll likely be our last.

This place has so much more to it than expected when you visit! We heard about the food and decided to try them out since we are so close. So glad we did! First, our waiter was the friendliest! She took her time answering our questions and helping us to decide on what to choose. The Eggs Benedict was so good! My honey loved his hamburger as well. We will be coming back to try other items from the menu.

Great service, nice and quiet ( atleast when we were there on a weekday between10:00 am and 11: 00) . Waitress acknowledged us right away, which is great. We had Black Mountain Breakfast ( your traditional breakfast) Eggs, choice of bacon or sausage, breakfast potatoes and choice of toast. Tasted great. The ambience was nice and relaxing. Definitely happy with the service we received. The food was very good. Definitely a good place to go for Breakfast, lunch and Dinner! Go out, have a great meal!

Great service. Waitress was new but very friendly and helpful. My chicken and waffles was delicious. They described the chicken as chicken tenders but it was more like chicken breast pieces Mel got the skillet.

This place is so cute and the staff are very sweet. The breakfast burrito was super flavorful 10/10. The stuffed French toast with banana and Nutella was the perfect breakfast choice to split among the table 10/10.

A group of 6 of us went to Black Mountain Griddle today for the first time. We met the owner who was very friendly and told us about the restaurant. I ordered the avocado, bacon eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was amazing.

Had the pleasure of stumbling upon this place while searching for a breakfast spot to kill some time. Keilani was my server and she was beyond helpful. Love the old school black and white photos hanging in the hallway on the way to the restroom. My avocado toast and side of bacon was both tasty and nice to look at: because we all know we eat with our eyes first. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Right off the bat! SERVICE with a SMILE! I'm stoked to have this local breakfast spot in our neighborhood. The food was made with love and energy, the staff was friendly and Steffen the Owner is right there to make sure everything is great! Having a quality oriented location that actually serves APPLEWOOD SMOKED BACON . That warms my heart, the breakfast burrito was the first item i ordered here and it was, jsut right for the price, it was extremely filling, and it came with salsa verde... mind you i walked in at 255 PM and i wasn't sure if i was going to be served. Not only did the burrito fill me.... It made me come back with my wife today! The ambiance is sooooo needed in black mountain!! Come by and try something new every time! They have lots of different events, such as paint and sip evening coming up on December 6! On Wednesdays, the wings are 10% off between 11 and 3 PM and the house sauce is absolutely amazing. If you're here early bird, between 7 and 9 AM you'll get 15% off, which I highly recommend. See you there soon!!

When you open the door, the first thing you are greeted with is the pastry rack in front of you. I swear, I gained 10 lb. Just looking at it. So many amazing things to look at and see absolutely wonderful. Another thing I have to brag about is how friendly everyone is there. You walk in the door and you are greeted literally by everyone. Really makes you feel at home and invited in to experience everything that they have. I opted for the tiramisu latte, and it was fantastic! Perfectly balanced, the flavors were there, and the bacon was excellent! This is definitely one we are going to add for our go-to breakfast places when in Vegas. Super excited to try everything on the menu! Bottom line? If you have not gone to horizon shine, you are missing out. Top of your must-go places and I swear you will not be disappointed! After hearing about Omelet House for literally years while living in Las Vegas for over 20 years, I…read morewas genuinely excited when we pulled in for breakfast. Unfortunately, the experience was such a complete disappointment that I felt compelled to write this review. I ordered eggs over medium. They arrived with raw, runny, uncooked egg whites. Not once. Not twice. Three separate times. After the third attempt, I gave up. If a restaurant that specializes in breakfast can't properly cook eggs after three tries, that's a serious problem. To their credit, they comped my breakfast. However, what happened next was far more disappointing than the food itself. The owner came over while we were checking out. Rather than addressing me -- the person who actually had the issue -- he spoke exclusively to my dining companion and never once looked at me, acknowledged me, apologized to me, or treated me as though I even existed. I've honestly never experienced anything quite so rude or dismissive in a restaurant. I mentioned that I had previously owned two restaurants myself and understand that mistakes happen. His response? He said he had looked at the first two plates of eggs himself, but never once acknowledged whether they were prepared correctly or incorrectly. No accountability. No explanation. No apology. Just indifference and disrespect. I have to be honest: the way I was completely ignored while he spoke only to the man I was dining with left me with the personal impression that my opinion simply didn't matter to him. Whether intentional or not, that was exactly how it felt, and it made an already disappointing experience even worse. I've worked in hospitality. I understand that food can occasionally come out wrong. What I don't understand is treating a customer with such blatant disregard and disrespect, especially when they're giving you the opportunity to make things right. After waiting years to finally try Omelet House, I can honestly say it was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I've had in Las Vegas. Bad eggs can be fixed. Bad service can sometimes be forgiven. But being treated as though you are invisible by the owner of the establishment is something I won't forget. I will not be returning, and I certainly won't be recommending this restaurant to anyone. After reading the response from Fred's wife Kelly here's my response to her because I have no way to comment to her response: Kelly, Thank you for taking the time to respond and for explaining Fred's visual impairment. I was completely unaware that he is legally blind, and had I known that at the time, I certainly would not have interpreted his lack of eye contact as intentional. I sincerely regret any hurt caused by my misunderstanding of that aspect of the interaction. That said, my review reflected my genuine experience as a customer. After receiving eggs with uncooked whites three separate times, I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. While you did apologize and attempt to rectify the situation, I still felt that my concerns were not fully addressed, and that was the experience I shared. I have owned restaurants myself and understand that mistakes happen in any business. My disappointment stemmed not only from the food issues, but from how the overall experience felt from my perspective as a guest who had looked forward to visiting Omelet House for many years. I appreciate you providing additional context about Fred, and I wish both of you and the restaurant the best.

Pink Duck Kitchen is a local Filipino-American fusion brunch restaurant that has maintained solid Yelp ratings and recently garnered a spot on the Las Vegas Review-Journal's Top 100 restaurants of 2025. Seeing as how it's the last Henderson spot which I hadn't tried, I decided to rectify that oversight today. I was thinking breakfast at first, but the Lamb Sandwich ($17.99) caught my eye. After clarifying the form of protein with the server, I said yes to this offering. I'm glad I did because it's a stunner. To start with, the bun is nice and soft. The pulled lamb is so tender and surprisingly free from gamy flavor, and whatever it's braised in does so much work making it irresistibly tasty. Then the tzatziki creaminess, tomato umaminess, and even the banana pepper tanginess really round out the flavors. Even the cucumber slices are perfectly portioned to add some crispiness and flavor. Fries come with the sandwich. I was hesitant since they were thick and also very brown. Fortunately, they were soft and fluffy inside, and there was enough crisp from the potato skins. They were actually a little undersalted too, but when I finally flagged down the server for some ketchup, I unlocked the code. The fries are just about perfect with a healthy amount of that Heinz goodness. I did get a bite of breakfast though. My friend's Ube Pancakes ($14.99) were cited as a dish to try on that top 100 list, and I can see why. There's plenty of ube flavor, and a good balance of a lightly crispy exterior and soft interior. The fresh mango and berries were a great touch, as was the whipped cream on the side. I'll have to have a full dish for myself one day. It wasn't as packed when we arrived as I was anticipating; I guess Sunday brunch invites a late-morning crowd though, since it started filling up. Music was top 40 stuff and not too loud. Really my only issue was the water not being ice cold. I've gotta come back to Pink Duck Kitchen since they have such a fun variety on their menu and they're one of the closest interesting restaurants to my side of town. If you live across town, it's actually drive-worthy for that lambwich alone.

We arrived at 11am, and while the vibe inside was lively and the decor was really cool (modern with Pink Duck vibes), we hit a bit of a snag right away. Despite seeing several empty tables, we were told there'd be about a 15-minute wait. Honestly, that was a little frustrating, especially when you're hungry and can clearly see open spots. We almost considered trying somewhere else, but decided to stick it out. And I'm so glad we did, because from the moment we were seated, the service was absolutely stellar! Our server, gave us great recommendations and made sure our drinks were always full. The rest of the staff we interacted with were equally friendly and efficient, they really turned the initial annoyance around. The fusion dishes here aren't just creative for creativity's sake; they're genuinely well-executed and thoughtfully balanced. $15.99 Fried Chicken & Ube Waffle - This was my dish, loved it. $16.99 Banana Nut Bread French Toast with Carmelized "Banana Cue" We went family style on this and I would order again. $16.99 Pork Belly Burger $15.99 Breakfast Burrito Everything felt fresh, vibrant, and celebrated both Filipino and American culinary traditions without either overpowering the other. The creativity in combining these flavors was executed well. I'd definitely visit Pink Duck again to sample more interesting dishes I saw on the menu. Mabuhay!

What was most disappointing was that the servers clearly saw us but made no attempt to make contact. And no, they were not busy. The Stephanie location is usually much busier, yet we have never experienced anything like this there. At around 8:45 am we decided to leave. Before leaving, I spoke with the host and asked for a manager. The manager did apologize and asked us to stay so they could take care of us, but by that point we had already made up our minds to leave and go somewhere else.
