This coffee is some of the best coffee I have had. It has a smooth mellow taste without the bitterness that the big coffee store produces to which Americans have came to think that is what good coffee is. The stores have a calm feeling to them where they have couches, tables, and board games so that you can enjoy a great cup of Joe without the pressure of being pushed to get in and out. Wow! This was my first time visiting a Black Rifle location and one of the most impressive drive thru experience I've had in awhile! I ordered the Smokey Joe and a puppy cup. When I arrived to the window the entire crew was eagerly at the window awaiting my puppy. Their pup cups come with a milk bone and the service comes with a smile. I'm sure you can tell by the name, they offer a discount to those who have and continue to serve our country, but more than anything, not affiliated with the forces in anyway, these folks made me and my pup feel welcome and special, and the Smokey Joe was delicious! You've heard of this company by now undoubtedly and it's pretty smart to get somewhere to try their product, whether it's the coffee or the apparel. There's some cozy type seating and some bigger tables. Having the drive thru is nice, but they seemed a bit understaffed for a Saturday morning at 9:30am. We ordered a small black coffee (was 16oz so you get your money worth) and a small honey latte. Add to that a muffin and a kolache and it took about 10+min to get our goods. Wife didn't care for the latte flavor at all. Coffee was strong. That's not good or bad. Just a statement depends on preference. I was ecstatic to find this coffee shop on our morning drive. I've always been a fan of their canned drinks and couldn't wait to have a fresh one! This shop is convenient to get to, right off the highway. What I love most about this shop is that they are a veteran owned business. My Husband is a veteran and we love to support veteran founded businesses like this one. Upon entering, there is a vast amount of shirts, mugs, and coffee grounds on display to purchase. There were plenty of tables to sit at and they also had (super clean) restrooms on site. Customer service was also outstanding! My husband ordered a classic iced mocha and I had myself the iced liberty bell. Both drinks were strong, but delicious! We went through the drive thru and it was probably the quickest I've been through a coffee drive thru. The service was friendly and helpful with all of my menu questions! I will say that their coffee is quite a bit stronger than I'm used to. Even with the caramel and white mocha that was in it, it was still too bitter for me to drink. I'm not sure if it's what I ordered, or if it was their coffee in general. My husband loved it so I know it wasn't bad, it's just my preference. Usually I love BRCC, but the last three times I've been in, my order has been incorrect. This morning I ordered a 1776 blended and a sausage & waffle sandwich. My sandwich was so cold that I had to reheat it before I could eat it and my coffee had to be remade because it wasn't a 1776. Black Rifle coffee has good service and the prices are in line with other coffee places. The issue with this location is I have witnessed twice allowing non-service animals into the location. Both times the dog was given some sort of dog-treat drink and the animal slobbered all over the floor and nobody cleaned up the dog drool on the floor.
