Cold brew with strawberry cold foam

I love trying different coffee shops when I visit a new area! Tim Horton's in Norfolk, VA was delicious for me. Everyone was really nice and the inside is so cute. I got the cold brew with strawberry cold foam and a bacon breakfast burrito. I enjoyed them both!!

Yes, they open early but the dining room does not. I was looking for a place to have breakfast and sit with my laptop for a bit. This wasn't it. Thankfully, they let me walk up to the drive through at 5:30 to get a small coffee but I was not able to enjoy it inside as that isn't available until at least 6. I really really enjoyed our first and second trip to Tim Hortons. My mom had told me about this place. She drank their coffee every morning when she was in Canada and really enjoyed it. We were in Norfolk and decided to try and I'm so happy we did. Service was great. The place was clean and big. Our food was amazing, minus the seasoning on the avocado toast, I will ask for less next time. Really can't wait to go back!

Had a hankering for donuts after surviving Costco. Timmy to the rescue! 1 dozen mixed donuts (4/5 stars, $14) and a medium brewed black coffee (3/5 stars, $3). Boston cream was my fave, the perfect balance of dough, filling, and chocolate topping; hint of sweet but not diabetes sweet. FYI, seasonal raspberry frosted chocolate cake didn't taste like raspberry, so the flavoring must have been out of season lol. Friendly counter service, parking lot a tad busy with steady flow of drive thru traffic.

I stopped by Tim Hortons for a bacon breakfast burrito & and energy drink last week. The drive thru was open early in the morning which was nice! The staff member at the window was kind. My food was served quickly. The breakfast burrito was one of the better fast food burritos I've tried. The sauce on it definitely took it up a notch above other fast food places! I appreciated that the burrito was served in a container that made it less messy! (See picture below) This was super helpful! I also enjoyed the energy drink. I had an overall good experience!

    Sorry I took a bit then realized I didn't take a picture

Could've been sweeter. I tried placing a mobile order for my favorite Tim Hortons donut -- the vanilla cream-filled -- but oddly, it wasn't showing in the app. No biggie, the drive-thru line was short and service was fast, which I definitely appreciated. They did have the donut I was craving, but unfortunately, it didn't hit like it usually does. It seemed a bit stale -- more like a day-old donut than the soft, fresh treat I expect. And instead of putting it in a box like they sometimes do, it came in a bag. That meant all the rich chocolate frosting (aka the best part!) stuck to the top of the bag instead of staying on my donut. Major letdown. Will I go back? Of course. Will I be requesting a box from now on? Absolutely. And fingers crossed for fresh donuts next time!

We finally stopped in to try this Canadian coffee shop. I had the Vanilla Cream Cold Brew with Cold foam and Honey Cruller. The coffee bean taste was nice and mild. Not over roasted like another major coffee chain, if you know what I mean. The vanilla flavor was there and not too sweet. I could still taste the coffee through the flavoring and cold foam, which is a bonus. Crullers are my fave for their light and airy characteristics. The honey cruller is exactly what it says it is. Unfortunately it seemed too sweet, but at least I tried it. My husband tried the dark roast black. He said it was alright. He said the boston cream was also alright. The shop esthetics were clean lines, simple hockey accents from Tim Horton's professional sports days. Overall, this is a positive review.

Excited we officially have a Tim Hortons now!!! When we go to Canada this is a go to spot for the ice capp and crullers and now it's closer to home. We came to visit around 11ish on a holiday (Monday) and the parking lot was full and the line was long. Wait time was about 10mins. There was only one register taking orders. I ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches, a dz donuts and 2 ice capps. I also ordered timbits but was told they didn't have any but I saw the person behind me leave with a little box of them. I was thinking did I order them wrong? Should I have said donut holes? SMH. At any rate our order didn't take long to come out and everything was delicious and just how I remember them, although Canada does have a lot more flavors compared to this location but not sure if it's because this is still new and during soft opening. I'll have to check back again later. Inside was open, bright and clean. The workers were very friendly and helpful. The drive thru line was long but they had a lot of people working in the back to help. We will be sure to drop by especially before or after our trips to Costco which is right down the street from Tim's.

I recently visited Virginia for the first time for the long weekend. I came here three times! I enjoy their iced coffee, breakfast burrito, and their spinach egg feta pastry. Everything tasted super fresh and service as quick and prompt.

Canada has good coffee So i saw this place because it's near my dry cleaner. I had no idea what it was but a quick google convo put me onto the game. The menu has a nice selection of coffees, breakfast sandwiches and donuts! So of course i had to sample a little of everything and i was pleased. I'm not typically a breakfast eater or a drive thru guy, but i was not disappointed. The sandwiches and donuts were fresh, and the coffee was very good! If i were in a pinch for some breakfast and on that side of town I'd definitely go back.

Being new, you'd expect some slowness in operations. Long drive thru line and long inside line. There's seating for approx 40 ppl, with combination of 8 ppl table and cafe seating for two, group arm chair seating for 4; light through large floor to ceiling windows. Price is reasonable (31 cents per donut hole), iced medium caramel macchiato is about $2.20 pre tax. Our order came in item by item. We ordered: lunch (chicken and cheddar cheese) melts, beef sausage burritos, crueller, 10 piece timbites (donut holes). Crueller had uncooked dough portions, the lunch melt did NOT have chicken in it as advertised.

Actually have come here twice already, and left pretty satisfied both times! Tim's is still very very new as of the writing of this review, so the service is a bit slow as the workers are ironing out the kinks - understandable and not a huge deal, but something to keep in mind if you're in a rush. The seating area happened to be open today when I went, and the inside was clean (so far) and has plenty of seating. I got the matcha latte and spinach and feta egg pastry today, while last time I got the oreo ice cap, pastry again, and shared a few Tim Bits with my cousin who accompanied me that trip. I'll talk about all items from both trips below: Coffee - 4.5/5 was a Frappuccino-esque oreo coffee and it was pretty good! Could do without the whipped cream though because it was heavy for my taste Pastry - 5/5 was supposed to get a ham and cheese pastry but they ran out, so they offered a spinach and feta one instead, and it turned out super tasty! The warmth and flakiness was soo good, but I just wished it had a bit more filling Doughnut holes - 3/5 got an assortment of originals, chocolate, and sprinkled; had the original first and was caught off guard about the taste, tasted almost like maple syrup, which was fitting haha but didn't really like it personally. I was also a bit disappointed in the texture, i was expecting dough almost like Krispy Kreme lol. chocolate bit was marginally better, didn't have a chance to try the sprinkled one Matcha latte (not pictured): 3/5 very standard matcha that you can expect from coffee places like this, nothing stood out to me but it was still enjoyable! Overall - 4/5, definitely need to come back to try other menu items, although I did wish they had poutine like the Canadian locations!

Due to the place recently opening the lines are non stop, but they were not ready for to receive these many people. The items for one order are coming out at different times, they are missing items. They have people coming up to the counter asking for missed items. The front desk cashier is chewing gum, has a bonnet on, and was rubbing her belly while attending a customer I could see her butterfly tattoos. They are out of multiple items. The trash and are over filled. Waited about 15 min for our coffee but for the taste test my partner liked the caramel macchiato, my daughter liked her hot chocolate and I liked my caramel brûlée. With organization outside and on the line they have potential to be a good coffee spot. Until then expect for them to be out of a lot of items and wait long times for your items:

It was a long wait in line. Towards the end of their limited hours, I was pleased that they still had a pretty good selection. They sold out of some things, but I found a robust selection of pastries and a loaf of bread as well, albeit one too big for their slices. With macarons and chocolate on sale as well, they had a lot worth coming for. The cake slices were as rich and smooth as one hopes for a French bakery, but several other pastries met with aplomb as well. I struggled to locate a high-end bakery in this geographic area, but did not regret having come to this one at all.

Everything I've had here is delicious, but here are some of my favorites: UBE BLONDIES *** Probably one of their most signature items that stays on the menu season to season, this crumbly, satisfyingly dense, soft baked good with that nice punch of ube flavor will really have you coming back for more. The frosting glaze is just perfect, adding that sweetness that carries the ube flavor really nicely. The texture is just soooo satisfying, you can just tell when you cut your fork through it that it has this airy, yet dense and crumbly texture. TURON FRITTER Kind of like an apple fritter, but oh so crumbly, delicious, bright, and soft on the inside. Also had their brown sugar boba pudding cup when it came out, and it was really good; the tapioca actually blended quite nicely and was chewy and fresh, which means you're not stuck chewing it forever. Definitely on the sweeter side, but brown sugar items tend to be that way.

Parking is street parking, but we were able to find a spot pretty close, which was convenient. The bakery itself is very clean and super cute inside, with a nice little area that would be perfect for a quick photo op. I also really liked the self-order kiosk. I love being able to look through the menu and take my time deciding what I want without feeling like I'm holding up the line. There were also a lot of drink options, including hot coffee, iced coffee, frozen coffee, and frozen drinks. I tried the Banana Pudding Iced Latte. It was good and honestly better than most banana-flavored drinks I've had, but I personally wanted more banana flavor to come through. It wasn't bad at all--I still drank the entire thing but I would've loved a stronger banana pudding flavor. The Strawberry Cheesecake Muffin was SO good. Soft, huge, and delicious. Definitely one of the highlights for us. No notes on that one! But let's talk about the SHRIMP & GRITS. I have another restaurant in Virginia Beach that has held my #1 spot for grits for a VERY long time. I've tried shrimp and grits all over Hampton Roads and even in other states, and nobody had really come close. Crave Bakery is officially neck and neck with them now. The flavor is completely different from my Virginia Beach favorite, which is why I can't necessarily say one is better than the other. They're just two very different takes on shrimp and grits and both are now at the top for me. The portion was pretty generous, too. We split one bowl and were still super full afterward. The shrimp and grits were hot and flavorful, and flavor-wise, I have no notes. My only personal preference was the consistency. I like my grits a little thicker, while these were more on the loose/creamy side. My sister actually thought the consistency was perfect, so that's definitely just a personal preference and not really a criticism. We also tried a couple of cookies. We had the lemon cookie and a ginger molasses cookie. The lemon cookie itself was good, but we weren't crazy about the icing on top. It was very sweet and, to us, felt unnecessary because the cookie was already sweet enough. We would've preferred the cookie without the icing. The ginger molasses cookie was the biggest miss for us. And this one is interesting because I actually like ginger molasses cookies! I've had one from another bakery before and really enjoyed it, and I also like ginger snaps. This particular cookie was just molasses, and neither of us liked it. So I'm not sure if it's simply that this particular cookie wasn't for us, or if the ginger molasses cookies I've had in the past were more ginger which is why I liked them. Either way, this one wasn't our favorite. Customer service was nice, and we didn't have any issues during our visit. Overall, the shrimp & grits and strawberry cheesecake muffin were definitely the standouts for me. The bakery is cute, clean, has a good variety of food and drinks, and I absolutely loved the self-order kiosk. I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu and honestly, I need those shrimp and grits again.

Very IG'able. Seating for about 20 people with various standard, high top, settee options. Music slightly loud for such ambiance.... The kale chix bowl didn't even have kale. There was way too much sour cream, wish they serve it on the side, made to make serving look more. They didn't even care to wipe the bowl side clean (see photo), it didn't look appetizing as if they just plopped everything. For $15 it was not on par with sausage egg cheese grits bowl from Waffle House. I'd come back for the coffee selections.
