Stopped by for a fun smoothie during a girls weekend and this was exactly what we were hoping for. I'd consider myself a healthy-ish girl that definitely still enjoys the occasional energy drink or food with a list of ingredients you don't know how to pronounce but when I say these are healthy, quality ingredients, I mean HEATHLY. If you are one of those people that love to know every single ingredient in your food, this is your place. That being said, it is definitely reflected in the price. My smoothie was $16 for reference, and that's with no modifications or add ons. And let me clarify that when I say healthy, it was still delicious. Their menu is so detailed and includes so many fun and different variations of smoothies that you've probably never even thought of. Not to mention, all of the smoothies we got were so colorful and fun! They also have some fun little protein treats and some other options like smoothie bowls as well. Will definitely be back, likely by myself when I want to treat myself or with a group of girls. I will not be taking my husband here as I can already see him rolling his eyes at the prices when he gets a smoothie that is not as sweet as his Jamba Juice but that right there should tell you quite a bit about the smoothies. Kaleidoscope takes you on a flavor journey. This Gilbert based juice bar serves up cold pressed juices, smoothies, toasts, and acai bowls. Pretty much all my favorite things under one roof. I was in desperate need of additional nutrients after some travel and knew that green juice would do the trick. I snagged 'The Valley' juice which included organic cucumber, apple, lime, parsley, kale, basil, collards, and spinach. I also ordered the half Avo Smash, a thick piece of toast layered with avocado, lemon, house-made Thai tiger sauce, microgreens, paprika, turmeric, everything seasoning, and an added sliced hard boiled egg. This toast was insanely good. I already have plans to copy it as soon as I get home. Don't even bother ordering the half. You'll end up wanting the whole. I'm not sure why it has taken me this long to write a review as I have been a customer for YEARS but this place is by far my favorite place in Gilbert. From the juices, to the smoothies, to the new seasonal matcha that just absolutely blew my mind-nothing beats this place. It's reassuring knowing I can support a local business that I can trust with quality ingredients. The standard for ingredients is unmatched anywhere for any of the deliciousness you can get in a cup. I would pay $30 for my matcha or smoothie because I know how nutritionally dense each drink is. I also know that the ingredients used here are some of the best on the market. Wow what a hidden gem in downtown Gilbert. I don't know how we have not gone here sooner. They have tons of really fun juices and smoothies that are full of so many amazing ingredients and can do plant based. Like wow for some of the different flavors also different tea and coffee. We went to Kaleidoscope's Gilbert location before flying back and our only regret was not coming in every day we were there. Located in a plaza with an arcade and other food stores, you cant miss Kaleidoscope. It's a clean, bright space with some high top tables and stools out front. There is also 2 dedicated parking spaces right out front for their customers. We were warmly greeted by Malia & Lauren when our group walked in. The expansive menu is to your left, as soon as you enter. There are some tables and a long seating area right in front of their available bar seating. There are also bottled pressed juices towards the back of the space. Malia suggested the flu shot ($11.25) as that is one of their most popular drinks. It has their flu shot juice (ginger, apple, lemon, turmeric, garlic, and cayenne) plus frozen fruit (mango, banana, pineapple, cherry) with coconut water. This was a great suggestion as it not only hit the spot, it has a bit of a kick due to the ginger and cayenne, that was much needed. We were for sure appreciative of her suggesting this and being super helpful to us first timers. I got a brookie ($6) to-go to take on to my flight. It was delicious. It was between that or the fudge brownie. Malia mentioned that the brookie was her favorite, so we listened to her. Again, SO glad we did... Thanks Malia! Just out here wanting to hype up their avocado toast because me and my sister both agree that it's some of the best avocado toast we've ever had! I was a little skeptical reading the description of their Avocado Smash because they mixed avocado, almond butter, tamari, and lemon juice and I was curious how those flavors together would taste. Its sprinkled with paprika, everything but the bagel seasoning, and tumeric and then has their "Thai Tiger" sauce on top as well. I paid extra for a hardboiled egg as well and this kept me full for the majority of the day and was absolutely delicious. Their Scooter Monkey protein shake is also delicious, and my eyes were bigger than my stomach this morning ordering both. I live right down the street from this place and it's cool having this so close to me. I stopped in after the Gilbert Farmer's market on a Saturday morning and was delighted to see other customers in there. This place is right up my alley as it's healthy and they have some good stuff. The only downfall is their prices are quite a bit high. I ordered a 16oz mushroom latte with cashew milk and maple syrup. The latte was delicious (although I'll probably skip the maple next time) but it was over $11! I also ordered their avocado toast, which was amazing. In total for my toast and drink, I paid $26. I'd like to come here more often because they serve up some healthy stuff that tastes amazing but I'll have to take a second mortgage out on my house to do so haha. Before heading out for a long drive, we wanted some healthy sustenance. When we walked up, we saw people eating avocado toast & a bagel outside of the trendy storefront. Too bad we already ate lunch! Malia greeted us with bright eyes & a big smile. We asked what was popular & what she liked. We got a huge Flu Shot to share & the kiddo got a KISS Strawberry, as she recommended. The flu shot was BEAUTIFUL and soo tasty! The ginger was a bit too strong for me at 1st, but couldn't even taste it after my 3rd sip; the açaí & berries tame it really well. The KISS strawberry was just that - simple. I really enjoyed the surprise of peanut butter in there! The shop is clean, bright & decorative. My lil guy enjoyed sitting at the bar, watching them make the pretty, fancy drinks. Thanks to Malia for a great suggestion & for the friendly, prompt, professional service! I had a bit of a freak-out when my hubby and I were looking at rentals in Gilbert, and one of the leasing agents was walking around unmasked with the sniffles and a stuffy nose while standing way too close to my introverted self on a good day. I was also days away from leaving AZ for the Midwest to pick up my mom and her husband (both seniors) and bring them out to live with us, and I could not afford to be sick. So, I felt that taking immediate preventative action was necessary. Also, I have an immune system comparable to that of Bubble Boy, so there's that. After pulling out my trusty Yelp app, I found Kaleidoscope and ordered a Flu Shot smoothie. I also purchased a cold-pressed Conquer the World (red beet, carrot, apple, ginger, lemon--all organic) and ordered a coffee for my husband. The girl who made my smoothie apologized while handing it to me and told me she was new. Meanwhile, I'm thinking there's going to be something wrong with it, but it was literally one of the most beautiful culinary creations I've ever been presented with, with its gorgeous jewel tones from turmeric and either the cherry or pitaya. Like, apologize all you want, but you just handed me perfection and you're doing one heck of a job. We have Local Juicery in Sedona, which was my go-to while living up north, and they're good, really good, but Kaleidoscope completely kicks their ass in terms of flavors, and that just blows my mind. Even if you're not a health/juicing/smoothie kind of person, this is the place I would still recommend you try. Also, the decor, the ambiance--WOW. 5 stars just for the beautiful space. I visit Gilbert often for my boyfriend's family and love making a stop for yummy, healthy treats here. I like how all of the ingredients are good quality, but very tasty too. I always get the blueberry bombshell and protein waffles. The service is always nice and pleasant. They have some seating inside and outside, perfect for my boyfriend and I. I was so excited to see that Kaleidoscope had made its way to Gilbert! (They have a few locations in Scottsdale and Phoenix). Kaleidoscope has a really chill and fresh vibe which makes it the perfect addition to the new neighboring businesses. Their ingredients are so fresh and healthy. To get your healthy kickstart to the day, there are many options to choose from; coffee, smoothies, tonic shots, açaí or pitaya bowls, vegan pastries and more! I stopped in to Kaleidoscope Juice for a post-workout smoothie this morning. I appreciate that they split their menu up by meal replacement, immune support, and recovery smoothies. They also have juices and their avocado toast looks delicious! I went for a 16 oz Scooter Monkey, which is basically an almond butter banana protein shake! If you absolutely hate that protein powder taste, then I would stay away from this one because you do get that flavor! However, I didn't find it to be overbearing and more tasted the almond butter and banana. It also has some cacao in it, but the flavor wasn't particularly chocolate-y.
