This is my favorite coffee in the area. Pastries are okay. But the coffee! I usually get their cold brew with some cream and flavor, but their Italian soda also rocks. My husband likes the blended drinks. They do run on the sweeter side if you get flavoring but they'll adjust it however you need. Nothing seems to be off limits. I have been to two locations and the staff was wonderful every time I have gone to either one. I have been trying to veer away from Starbucks so I've been trying out black rock coffee and I can say that it's pretty good. Came to this location and they were busy so I didn't mind the wait. When my coffee was ready, one of the employees came to me and apologized for the wait because she thought I was one of the drive thru orders so my coffee had been ready for a minute. I didn't mind at all but she was sweet and gave me a freebie for my next visit. I am all about making things right and this was a very pleasant experience. Not a fan, I'd recommend going to Top Cup. We got a latte and a cappuccino, it was really watery and diluted tasting. Also their menu is fairly limited. They don't have cortados or macchiatos. They seem so focus a little more on the fraps and slushes. They open super early though, which is a plus. read more

My favorite coffee shop by far. Hot Irish coffee is my go to. Employees are always very courteous and helpful.

The ice container is left wide open, and staff putting the scooper right back in with the ice. Definitely needs to be inspected and fixed. Super sad because I normally love BR but was super let down when I got my normal drink the summer blondie but this time it was made SUPERR SWEET. I politely asked if I could just get a small size of a different drink + the girl at the front said she could remake the same one half sweet but I said I would rather just a fuel small size (which was almost $1 cheaper than the blondie) to which she typed in a fuel and said okay it will be four dollars and change which was super crappy to me because we just payed like $5 for a SMALL coffee and they wouldn't even replace my nasty sweet drink without charging me again. read more

If you like to order from this horribly unorganized place through Ubereats, Doordash, or other 3rd party delivery apps - PLEASE reconsider. This dump refuses to start those orders until the driver arrives at the restaurant - so the driver has to wait UNPAID for them to wait on absolutely everyone else first. Savvy drivers know this and refuse to accept pickups from BR, so you will potentially wait a VERY long time for your order...if you get it at all. Order Starbucks instead - they are much better with delivery orders - or if you must order from BR please tip your driver extremely generously, and remember drink errors or missing items are the restaurant's fault, not the driver's. read more

I have been coming to BR for about 6 months and really enjoyed the various coffee drinks I have tried. My favorites are the Mocha, Mexican Mocha and Irish Coffee. They have a very friendly staff, it's clean, has indoor seating and outdoor pet friendly seating. On nice days they open up the huge wall of glass so you enjoy the weather. read more

I was beyond excited for a black rock to open up on this side of town right by my house. However, the drinks have not been doing it for me. Every time I have gone, the coffee just does not taste right. I went and got coffee this morning and asked for an iced americano with sugar free vanilla and cream and I have no idea how the barista made my drink. There is no cream and it tastes fruity. There's no other word to describe it besides disgusting. If I would of have the time I would of asked them to remake it but I was already running late to work with the line. I also am not sure why they have an option to order on the app. I do that to skip the long line in the morning, not to show up, give them my name and then have my drink put in the back of the long line. There needs to be a better system for order aheads. The environment at black rock is awesome and the people are always super nice! By far the best coffee around ! Better than Dutch Bros and WAY better than Starbucks. The baristas are the best... they're polite, friendly, and the best part is they don't spend 10 minutes chatting with you holding up the line for 45 minutes like at Dutch Bros haha.
