Stopped by to get a couple of Iced Matcha Lattes after a Trader Joe's run. Looked at the menu which had lots of coffee drinks & some teas & found it. Ended up ordering with the helpful male employee at the cash register who asked if we wanted to add Lavender syrup, cream foam, etc. but we wanted them simple with just Almond Milk & Oat Milk. He submitted the order & the barista in the back said he only had enough Matcha for only one drink so I let my friend order hers since she was the one craving a Matcha drink. When it came out the Medium-sized drink was so pale yellow looking & tasted only Almond Milk so the employee at the register said she could get a refund if she didn't want another drink. My friend got a refund as she was disappointed. He said he could just take the drink as they'd just throw it out. He offered iced Green Tea but that wasn't the same. We walked out surprised they didn't supply the store on a Friday & that it was only 2pm? They said they were waiting for a truck delivery to restock. Nice employee customer service, decor & upbeat ambiance, though. 4-stars for service &ambiance.

A modern shop right in the middle of Gilbert. Gives some Dutch Bros vibes, with energy drinks and sweetened coffee aplenty, but staff are friendly and efficient. Will come again!

Solid coffee spot. Went here a few times during my visit to AZ. Great coffee, comfortable seating areas for either working or relaxing, plus the staff are all great. Highly recommend.

For starters, the people here were very polite and respectful towards customers. I ordered a shaken espresso, bacon Gouda and a blueberry scone. There wasn't much flavor nothing great about the coffee, I've had plain shaken espressos at other coffee shops and it tastes much better than this one. My bacon Gouda was cold in the middle still, but I was already driving, so I just ate it all. My blueberry scone tasted like it needed to be baked longer, I couldn't taste any blueberry flavor, it just tasted like batter. Not a great experience. I won't return to this location

I stopped by this location because it's close to my kids' school. The moment you walk in, the staff greets you with friendly smiles, immediately asking how your day is going and offering you a drink. I ordered the chocolate chip chiller, which was delicious--just the right amount of sweetness, which is a big plus for me. Black Rock Coffee's interior design is always unique, with each location having its own special vibe. If you're looking for a quiet spot to work or hold a small meeting, this location is ideal--it's less busy and perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying some "me" time.

So I had several brothers from my Saturday Bible Study meet me here this morning, 5:30am Saturday. The place was empty, the staff was great it was like we were the only ones here. We had such a great time, the coffee was flowing, that jams were great. We will totally be back!

This is such a wonderful alternative than what's on every corner lots popular spot. First time I tried Black Rock I was impressed. This visit, I had the Blended Caramel Chiller & my husband had the Mocha Chiller Both were great. There are many good selection of drinks to choose from. Absolutely love their fall selections! Wish it was year round. Additionally, there's both premium and classic coffee beverages, and they even have some coffeeless alternatives such as smoothie and chai chillers. Oh, and keep in mind to try out their juices and warm cocoa! There are a few food items available as well like donut holes, bagels & breakfast burritos. BR even offers a decaf medium roast and a sweet medium roast substitute. Many aren't aware that BR has a charity option to buy coffee to help fund community water projects in developing countries. What a wonderful thing! The staff is always on point and the service is fairly quick for how busy they get. Plenty of tables and seating to catch up on conversations, work or school assignments. *Note- Black Rock Coffee Bar has a secret menu of energy drinks. Well, now it's not a secret! LOL Highly recommend you ask about it when you go.

Hey now I ordered a coconut milk latte with coconut syrup the price of the drink was $6.88 wade heck but okay this place is a vibe and a half comfortable and spacious cafe to work or enjoy coffee. I can't help but feel the corporate seal of approval on this place id rather stick with Starbucks but I was lazy and didn't want to travel an extra mile so Black Rock it was for a morning vibe. Bye for now

Really cute and open on the inside . Friendly service and plenty of seating and parking . It's in a shopping center with lots around to eat and do . The latte was average , a little on the sweet side for me . Next time I would adjust it to be not so sweet . They have outdoor tables too and a drive thru !

Iced matcha that was not very good.

The food is legitimately really good, always piping hot, delicious, and their coffee is excellent. But man... it is getting harder and harder to ignore the fact that this place desperately wants to be Scottsdale without actually being in Scottsdale. There is a level of pretentiousness walking through here that deserves its own parking space. People are not just coming in for breakfast they are coming in to be perceived. I am half expecting someone to walk in and announce, "Sorry I am late, my personal brand meeting ran long." And the gym clothes... THE GYM CLOTHES. I work out too. I just do not feel the need to wear my workout clothes everywhere like I am on my way to the Olympics. Meanwhile, people are walking around here dressed like they just completed a 90-minute HIIT class, despite the fact that their biggest athletic accomplishment today was finding a parking spot. And listen, I am all for confidence. Wear what you want. But some things should remain between you, your mirror, and your close friends. Not all body part's you own need to make a public appearance. At this point, their burritos are more covered up than some of the customers. Their dress code is now: Athleisure + confidence + absolutely no fear of exposing an entire area of their body. Anyway... back to why we are actually here: THE FOOD. It's fantastic. Always hot, always delicious, and the coffee never disappoints. That is what keeps bringing us back. But if they start reserving more of the already-limited seating for the Scottsdale Influencer Association, I may have to draw the line and take my business elsewhere. I came for a burrito--not a live-action audition for Real Housewives of Gilbert. Great food. Great coffee. Just please keep the Scottsdale cosplay, reserved-table nonsense, and unsolicited anatomy exhibits to a minimum.

I've gone for just coffee and I've gone to actually work and drink coffee, and their split level plan gives customers a fair amount of options for seating, not to mention they also have outdoor seat in available (no thanks in the Summer)! While I've of course had some coffees here that I like better than others I've ordered, I've never had a single coffee here that wasn't truly enjoyable. On my recent visit I decided to order a normal latte, but to switch it up with macadamia milk instead of whole milk, which was suggested by the barista. This was a great recommendation that added a unique flavor to the drink and I honestly think I liked it even better than the normal latte I get! You have to stop in if you've never been. That said, I don't think Rhett McLaughlin and Link Neal are involved with this adorable coffee shop. I digress! I recently ordered the Bourbon Peach Latte with oat milk ($6.50 + $0.75 for oat milk), Blueberry Pie Latte ($6.50), and a Breakfast Sammy with ham ($8). The Bourbon Peach Latte is a seasonal summer drink. It features caramelized sugar, simmered bourbon and heavy cream, real peaches, vanilla bean paste, and a touch of salt. You also get a cute peach gummy ring on the side. The Blueberry Pie Latte is another seasonal summer drink. It includes espresso, blueberry pie syrup, and milk, topped with cream cheese cold foam and a cinnamon graham cracker crumble. Honestly one of the best variations of a blueberry drink I've had at a coffee shop. My favorite blueberry-anything at any coffee shop actually. As for their Breakfast Sammy, it had garlic aioli, egg, ham, avocado, cheddar cheese, and Everything Bagel seasoning. You can definitely taste the garlic in this sandwich. It was a great way to start my Saturday after spin class. I totally ate back my calories but no regrets. If I were Benson Boone, I'd say that Mythical Coffee was mystical, magical. I'm a big Cortado guy and they have one prominently on the menu. We've been here a few times and each time my wife's flavored latte is quite lovely, but would it be if it wasn't iced? The service is pleasant, the cafe itself is clean and cute, they have a restroom for patrons. But when it comes to pouring a Cortado, they don't know how to do it. It's just some steamed milk dumped on espresso in a paper cup. Any time a barista puts a cap on your cup (paper cups are generally a bad sign, but some are very good, but still not as good as glass cup poured versions) it's clear they intend to hide the lack of microfoam head, the art itself is how you build this drink. The pastries are great. I've wanted to like this place really because of the story, but if you're really into espresso there are so many better options than Cosita.
