I came here to meet my friend and was quickly greeted. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, including the staff and spacious interior. There are plenty of places to park and their menu is extensive. The prices are on par with other coffee shops in the area. I ordered their chai tea (medium) and their chocolate croissant. My drink and dessert order came out quickly. The chai tea was delicious and paired well with my chocolate croissant which was crunchy and delicious as well. My friend shared enjoying her drink as well.

Efficient ordering with the kiosk, although it takes away somewhat from the personal touch that you like to see in a coffeehouse. They had a lot of interesting drink options; I went with my old standby, the chai latte, and added cinnamon which was a nice touch. Drink was hot and fresh and the counter staff very nice. They've transformed the building which used to be a Wendy's. Although the larger than life mural of Post Malone on the wall was quite random! I guess it's because he's from Grapevine.

Stopped by Black Sheep Coffee as we were looking for an afternoon coffee shop and something cold to drink. We were not disappointed by our experience here. When you arrive there is plenty of parking outside of the coffee shop. After walking in you'll have the option to either order from the self service kiosks or at the counter. Also, the vibes are on point and what a cool conversion from what used to be an old Wendy's. I ordered the Strawberries & Cream Matcha Latte which was perfect. The matcha flavor wasn't overly powering and there was a nice balance of the strawberry flavor. I also ordered a Norwegian classic Norwegian waffle with the Norwegian Brunost Cheese and jam. The waffle was a bit cold but it had nice flavor. Lastly, I really enjoyed the vibes of the coffee shop and the artwork on the walls. Definitely will be back if I'm in the area

Black Sheep has entered the DFW coffee scene in a great spot. Near several schools and right off the highway on Hall Johnson. They have 4 kiosks for ordering, but also I noticed a register for those who still want to order at the counter. As well they have a drive thru option. Sitting inside while waiting for my kids class to wrap up, it had a calm welcoming vibe! Great for the folks in groups to catch up, but the sounds not bouncing off each other to make it to hard to focus on working if that's what you need to do. I liked the latte well enough but am looking forward to coming back for the waffles and smoothies next time.

    Norwegian waffle to go

This place is awesome!!! I don't normally leave reviews, but I felt like I had to with Black Sheep Coffee. I've driven by this place for months since it's been open and unfortunately never made time to stop and what a shame because I could've been enjoying Black Sheep Coffee so much sooner. So if you find yourself driving by 121 and Hall Johnson, it's worth the stop. If you've never had a Norwegian waffle you don't know what you're missing out on, and the staff is amazing. I went to order a classic waffle, and the young lady working the counter recommended the Biscoff waffle. And since I fly American Airlines, I do love a good Biscoff cookie and this one did not disappoint. The waffle has the perfect compliments of soft internal waffle with crispy edges for a good crunch. I did get the iced frappe as well and nothing aggravates me more than chunks of ice when I get them from other coffee shops that seem to be on every corner. That's not the case here it was perfectly blended all the way to the bottom and they put little Biscoff cookie crumbles on top. It was an excellent touch. I will be back again thank you to you and your team!

Black Sheep is a newly opened coffee shop in my neck of the woods, so I was excited to check it out. I was especially excited to see Norwegian style waffles made the exact same way I had in Norway. The waffles themselves were pretty spot on to how I remembered them. Unfortunately, the coffee left much to be desired, which isn't ideal when the spot has "coffee" in the name. However, my spouse got the matcha, and I will say that's likely where they excel. If I come back, I will stick to the matcha and waffles. Otherwise, the interior is clean and cozy, and the staff were super friendly.

We went through the drive thru so I cannot comment on any of the inside features. I got an iced vanilla oat milk latte, my husband got the iced lavender matcha and we split a banoffee waffle. Coffee and matcha were good but OMG that waffle! To die for! It is fantastic, and to my knowledge there's not anywhere else around here that has anything similar. WOWZA! I think I could eat one of these daily and not get sick of it it's so tasty. Would highly recommend rolling through, if nothing more than to pick up one of their awesome desert waffles.

The food here was great, and the coffee even better than even Starbucks. The service from our cashier, Lillian was phenomenal. She explained to us the different types of add-ons we can add to a drink. The environment was very calm and there were lots of plants.

Black Sheep Coffee in Grapevine is hands down my NEW favorite coffee spot in the area! The coffee is fantastic--smooth, rich, full of flavor, and there are so many options to suit everyone. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. Service was quick, and everyone had a great attitude. The atmosphere is super cool and inviting with some totally awesome murals --perfect for getting some work done or just hanging out with friends. The vibe inside is warm and comfortable without being too loud or crowded and they have plenty of seating for you and your friends. One of the best features: there are outlets at every table, which is a total game changer if you're working remotely or need to charge your devices while you hang out. There are tons of great options on the menu, so whether you're just grabbing a coffee or want something more filling, there's something for everyone. I highly recommend the waffles with Nutella--absolutely delicious! Easily one of the best treats I've had with my coffee in a long time. The location is super convenient, right off Hall-Johnson Rd and 121, which makes it easy to stop by whether you're local or just passing through. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and check it out. I'll definitely be back soon!

    Taking care of all!

Great location, drive through and coffee! I have only had time for drive through but the regular drip coffee is very good. Definitely recommend-

When I asked why, I was told for remodeling and because they are short staffed. Neither made sense. I believe I saw 3 or 4 employees and while there could have been remodeling behind the scenes, we watched them close up and saw the employees all leave. We had to go find another coffee shop, but it made me wonder, if I was the owner of this coffee shop I would want to verify they were not closing early just to go play. ***revized review*** Business reached out to explain they are making improvements and scheduling those is tricky. It would be great to update on Yelp, which is how we decided on this coffee shop (based on closing time). Coffee and offerings we had were very good. Atmosphere prior to the unexpected close was a good vibe.

I've walked by and never even noticed this place, but I encourage you to enter. The store offers players pieces to paint and play in house, other related material to review, and a historical review of Warhammer. War game setups to play, which, by the way, are artistically set up so awesomely! I would have taken more pictures and videos, but it was busy, and the majority of the game stations were taken up by players. I, on the other hand, enjoyed that they had a cafe as well. I believe their coffee machine is down or something. So I opted for their "Blood for the Blood God" tea it's not too sweet and pretty refreshing for a hot, humid day. We waited to eat our cinnamon roll at home. After heating it up a bit, I enjoyed the sweet treat. It was a tad bit dry, but it was eaten. If you're a fan or just walking by, stop and check it out. You may be surprised by a hobby you never knew could pique your interest!

All smiles and eager to help, my kind of customer service! We were seated shortly after arrival, with no reservation, so that was nice! We dined in for Sunday brunch, nice sized crowd & the football games were on the TVs. Our server, Kevin, was so sweet and attentive. For the table: Fried catfish - amazing! Not too greasy, cooked perfectly and battered/seasoned well. Kevin confirmed that the fish is cooked in separate oil, win for me when I'm eating pescatarian. Waffle - delicious! Personally, I don't like my waffles crunchy so happy to report theirs were soft and fluffy! They add cinnamon to their batter which is a nice touch. Grits - both the cheese and regular were enjoyed! Cornbread - solid! A nice helping of butter served on top. Margarita - also solid! My only "pain point" would be that the building could use an update inside but clean nonetheless.

Super busy, inside the door was being held open since there was just people coming in and out. Had to get on a waitlist and that took an 45 to an hour to be seated. Once seated, the server wasn't anywhere to be found until 15 minutes after. I'm sure it was extremely backed up. But then the order didn't come after an hour. At that time, I didn't feel as hungry anymore so maybe I'll come back on a slower day. The food was decent but the sides were all pretty sodium loaded and the chicken was pretty greasy. The ambiance was and the hostesses were helpful. I would recommend to go on a slower day at least once if you haven't tried this place. Everything costs $60+, In my opinion the dishes are a bit overpriced. If you're watching out for your calories with this one then just forget it!
