First of all - I have never posted a YELP review - ever. I am so happy with Black Sky Limousines, that I am inspired to post a review - a FIVE STAR review, no less. Unbelievably perfect experience. We contacted Bruce and Black Sky Limousines for a Girl Scout event in San Francisco. Bruce was extremely accommodating and forward thinking. The all-inclusive pricing took so much pressure off of us as "newbie's" to the service. Bruce immediately thought about appropriateness and comfort for our 10 and 11 year old girls, he addressed potential issues before even I thought of them. The transportation was a surprise to our girls. When the party bus arrived, the looks on the girls' faces were priceless (and those smiles NEVER left the entire ride!) Our driver, Paul, was the perfect fit for our group, as well. Very professional and appropriate and accommodating. The bus was impeccably clean and perfectly staged for us. Communication while at the event could have been very tricky - except Paul made it a non-issue. We arrived in style to the event on time with, quite honestly, the sweetest ride at the venue which included 5,000 other participants. Even the event organizers commented as such. There was only ONE problem. Black Sky Limousines has raised the bar. All of our parents now have to increase their budgets for future events with Black Sky Limousines in mind, because, frankly, while our girls know this was a special occasion, they are now convinced that this is just the only way to go. i have used this service maybe 5 times now... I only ask for Bruce. I have had nothing but great and personalized service!! He is timely, affordable, his cars are cool, his personality is very fitting, and there is always a full bar!! SCAM! This place is horrible. They never answer the phones and the voice mail sometimes is full. We gave our credit card info and then never heard anything for days. We were just crossing our fingers that the limo showed up. It was an older limo and nothing like the pictures on the website. It does not have an ipod adapter or windows that go down in the back (broken). There are many other companies out there. Do yourself a favor and go to one of them. read more

Excellent service. We hired this company to drive ten people to their senior ball in San Francisco. The driver was prompt and courteous. Any questions while setting up the contract were clearly answered. Bruce confirmed that the driver was only contracted to this job all evening, which was very reassuring. I have been in contact with Bruce for quite a few months now in preparation for my wedding, but he recently came through last weekend for my bachlorette party! First off let me start by saying my girls and I are crazy as hell. Add that to a rainy, windy day in SF and that makes for predictable chaos. No way! Bruce called us upon his arrival and had umbrellas to help us get into the fleet dry and safe. He had the vehicle fully stocked with champagne for us ladies and that made me extra happy! Beyond all this he is really a nice person and seemed to actually care whether or not we were having a good time. The actual vehicle was amazing, clean and ready to be partied in. ;) because we are all over 30 (ok most) we didn't last till our projected time and Bruce was there to save the day within 10 minutes and transport us home safely. He offered to drive us around to the city, but we were lights out. Lol I was so impressed with him and I cannot wait to use his services on the day of my wedding. We used Black Sky for our transportation on our wedding day. I will say Bruce can be hard to get in touch with - but just pick up the phone or email and he will get back to you! We didn't need a limo for 4 hours, we just wanted a limo to pick up the girls and take them to the venue, then turn around and pick up the guys and bring them to the venue. Black Sky was THE ONLY company that would accomodate this request. Super reasonably priced - AND he was willing to discuss or work w/ rates based on other quotes I had received. The limousine was AMAZING!! Super clean - New - they had beer for the guys on the way to the venue and so on. The driver did show up about 20-30 minutes early so I felt bad because I was just heading up to put on my dress, and he had to sit there. But hey I'd rather an early driver who calls to see if I'm ready rather than a late one. Black Sky was perfect for our wedding day. read more

Bruce answers the phone pretty casually, so you're not sure who you have called but worry not....he is great! His limo was clean, stocked and right on time. He was friendly and courteous. We had some changes to our group size that he easily accommodated without getting ruffled. And best of all, he was honest. I wish I could give Bruce and Black Sky Limousines 10 stars because he not only did everything right, but made all of our experience better by being professional and flexible. I hired this company to take six kids out for a couple of hours as a celebration and it was a blast! Bruce showed up early, helped us drive around the block to surprise the kids, let us crank the music to ear deafening volumes, provided soda and water on ice and even popped a bottle of apple cider so the kids felt like adults. The limo was brand new and had a cool ceiling light display and an iPod/Cell Phone jack for music. Seriously, this whole night couldn't have gone better and I'm so pleased because we just moved to Livermore and feel fortunate to have found such a great service so soon. I have used Blacksky Limo on several occasions The owner Bruce and his staff have always catered to any and all of my needs. I would recommend Blacksky limo to anyone. Testimony: On my Bday my wife took upon herself to find the limo company I had previously dealt with and on several occasions ( her bday as well) and had planned a night out to dinner and comedy show with myself and 6 of best friends. Note; EVERYTIME they have been on time if not early. So as we head out to dinner the secret was to take me to a comedy show after dinner but as we pull up at dinner location my wife realizes that she had forgot computer printout tixs at home, mind you we are over 30minn away from home and for us to go back would throw the night completely off. We decide to call bruce to see what could be done, He not only offers to have his driver go back to our home while we were eating to get them but makes a few phonecalls in the area and comes up with the solution of having his driver go to another business while we are eating, log on to a computer, print out our tixs for us and drive back to location we are eating dinner at.. Now if thats not going above and beyond I dont know what is. The night ended up working out PERFECTLY!!! eventhough it was a mistake made on our part.. We used Black Sky limousines for a wine trip in Livermore and we had the best time. Our driver's name is Daniel and he was super nice, attentive and what a gentleman - he helped us half-drunk ladies get off the limo safely :). One thing I would suggest is for them to be a bit more organized with the communications. There were times when I called for questions or confirmations and I didn't get call backs until the next day or two but they always called back! Also, they sent me the wrong itinerary but when I called this out, it was fixed right away. Bruce was very nice and answered all my questions. He also recommended great wineries for us to visit. We hired an SUV limo which was nice and clean. We were provided with 2 bottles and champagne, water bottles, soda and ice. I would recommend them for your next winery trip. read more

Black Sky Limousine was amazing! My friends and I needed a limousine to drop us off and pick us up at a concert. Unlike most other limousine companies, we weren't charged for six hours of limousine use. We worked out an astonishing deal for simply drop off and pick up transportation. Bruce was very easy going and despite the rest of the reviews I have read, he was super easy to get in touch with. The limousine was right on time and it was gorgeous! We used the stretch Cadillac Escalade Limo that held up to 20 people. This limo was so clean inside and out, the music system was outstanding, and the space was perfect. After we left our concert Bruce and the limo were waiting for us right on time. Once again, a great evening and 150% SATISFIED. This is the fourth time in a 6 year period we have used Black Sky. My girlfriend had a Christmas party in Lafayette, and we decided to rent a limo for the occasion along with a few other couples. Bruce (the owner) gave me a follow up call the day of, to confirm times and inform me of an issue with the car we were going to in. As he is explaining the issue with the car, I flashed back to a company that I had used a while ago (great price but "their car broke down" and we got an old, beat up, back up limo). Not in this case with Black Sky, Bruce was apologetic and asked if it was ok if he sent the ESCALADE instead of the Chrysler 300. Was this ok? Hell yes!!!! Instead of the 12 passenger Chrysler, we got the 20 passenger Escalade for the same price. GOD BLESS YOU BRUCE! There are always going to be issues with any company at times. The most important thing to me is never the issue (S%*# happens), it is how the issue is resolved, and what the final outcome is. We had the best night; everyone in our party was amazed by this ride. After figuring out that I had under estimated the amount of people in our party, I had to book another limo service because the first one we booked couldn't accommodate the additional people. I found Black Sky Limo using the reviews on Yelp, and contacted them. It was by far the easiest booking I experienced, particularly compared to the other limo service we were using. Bruce was easy to work with, quickly replied to my emails and calls, and there was little paperwork to deal with in the booking process. The limo was on-time, the driver courteous, and the limo stocked with drinks per the quote. All in all, the service from beginning to end was exceptional.
