We drive here to get their rolls and even buy some for people at work. Even people that have lived overseas have gone with us here because it is such a famous place.

I ordered a Toffee to go. The inside dining area looked neat and clean though. Bun tasted good, but the price was a bit too high.

It was worth the drive to go here, owned by a very nice Pakistani family.. the place was very clean and very spacious, the owner was super accommodating about everything, and everything we ordered was just delicious.. we ordered biscoff, signature buns, and Nutella buns; everything was delicious. If I ever go back to Chicago I will definitely go again here cause of the service and the fresh food.

Beautiful cafe with lots of space for friends and family to enjoy. I was happy with my drink although it was a little extra sweet. The biscoff bun was tasty with a crunchy outside and soft center however the mango strawberry bun was slightly disappointing. Overall experience was neutral. I would go again since the couple that owns it were super sweet.

I'm glad this PappaRoti is open after the downtown location closed. This place serves chai, hot buns, and ice cream. The karak chai is great and has a great spice profile. It does come sweetened but it's not overly sweet like other places. The buns are delicious, soft but also has a crunchy exterior. I got mine drizzled with caramel! The Bun costs $5 and the drizzle costs $2. I think the extra drizzle should only cost $1 though. The place has many tables and comfy seats to chat away. The menu did not have any savory items like small sandwiches though. Lastly, the place closes at 8 pm so I wish it was open later like the Chai places on Roosevelt Road.

First time visiting this place and we were shocked! The staff who took our order were super nice and welcoming! The place is quiet, and clean. We ordered the up north bun and it was delicious, just the right amount of sweetness we were looking for a Friday night! I will 100% be back for more buns!

Blown away by these coffee buns, I got the mona lisa which comes with the coffee bun, vanilla ice cream, strawberries and bananas drizzled in chocolate and caramel sauce. The top layer of the bun is a "coffee caramel butter" cookie layer packed with flavor. Definitely coming back again~ I also got the biscoff shake but honestly think it could use more biscoff flavor. Would I order again? Not really unless they change up the recipe for this. Their menu is actually quite vast, it's a little more than just coffee buns and shakes, they have coffees, smoothies, buns with ice cream in them, and more. Store is clean, brightly lit, has many seats. Service was good as well, definitely give this place a try, I've come across it so many times on yelp and never thought much of it but now it's one of my favs for desserts

My husband and I decide to try out this place since their desserts looked unique and good. We got the Ferrero Rocher one which was great. A nice combination of crunch, sweetness, and fluffiness. My husband got the Karak tea and he enjoyed it. We felt that the atmosphere could use more character and the space was too large.

This is a good place for you to enjoy amazing sweet coffee flavored buns and a cup of coffee. The store is very spacious with great smell of coffee and buttery buns lol. I just can't describe how I love the buns here. I got them everytime I come, it makes me feel like where I usually got paparotti in my hometown. Service is fine, it can get a bit busy sometime but I never waited more than 15mins. Great experience so far.

    Classic bun and latte

Went here with a group of people and they had plenty of seating. Most of us got the classic bun. Didn't know what to expect and it was pretty good.

We bought a pack of 12 buns to go. Dined in to try a bun. It was super delicious. It is definitely worth the drive. Drove from Chicago because my wife really wanted these buns. I highly recommend it. The guy on the counter was super nice. Check this place out.

Use to have this in Malaysia and when I heard Pappa Roti is n town I was estatic. The signature bun especially is simple but so so good! Crispy exterior and soft gooey interior.

Must try! Before I give my review I want to give you a backstory to this establishment. 20 years ago I visited Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and went to this coffee place called Roti Boy that had coffee but was known for this bun called the "Mexican Bun". I always thought it would have been cool to make that Mexican Bun here in America because it's so good. Pappa Roti seems to be a spinoff of Roti Boy as everything is exactly the same, but they call it a "Signature Bun" instead of the Mexican Bun. In Malaysia these buns are served mostly in the mornings with coffee similar to how we sell donuts here in America. I was blown away when I saw this Pappa Roti and their signature bun so I stopped in to give it a try. It wasn't even in Yelp yet so I set this up for them and excited to be the first to review and give everyone this backstory..... On to my review. The Signature Bun (Mexican Bun) is a fluffy dough ball that tastes like coffee and cinnamon.... Who wouldn't love that? The Mexican Bun in Malaysia has a lot more butter inside, so it's practically dripping. Comparatively the Signature Bun has much less butter and juicy drip.... Maybe after this review they can add more butter. It's a really tasty bun but doesn't seem as sweet as donuts, so you don't feel so bad eating them. They have a bunch of options if you want to flavor your bun or just eat it plain. A bunch of coffee and drink options as well. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

The weird part was asking if i had a punch card and when i said no they didn't offer me one either? Either way, i got the taro strawberry smoothie and a hazelnut iced coffee. Neither of us enjoyed the drinks because they're very syrup heavy resulting in a drink that's wayyyyy too sweet. It just tastes like drinking concentrated syrup and powder blended/mixed with milk. Barely tasted any taro. Having some real ingredients like frozen strawberries with taro powder is what I'd expect at this price point. Not both ingredients being powdered and syrups. The tapioca itself was really good, soft and not too chewy. But there's just way too much of it, you're eating boba more than enjoying a drink. The brown sugar syrup that the boba sits in doesn't help with the additional sweetness in the drink. Wouldn't recommend for real drinks

One of Aurora's (Chicago Suburbs) Best Boba Tea Spots!…read more After traveling around the world and tasting boba from Taiwan to Singapore, I can confidently say that Vannie House in Aurora delivers some of the best tapioca pearls I've had in the U.S. The pearls are perfectly chewy, fresh, and absolutely on par with the quality I've experienced in top-tier Asian tea shops. One thing I really appreciate is the tapioca-to-drink ratio. Most boba shops either overload you with pearls or drown everything in too much liquid. Vannie House nails the balance, every sip and scoop feels intentional and well crafted. I tried several drinks on my visit: M9 (modified with Thai Tea) -- Smooth, flavorful, and extremely well blended. A3 Orange Peach with Black Tea -- Sweet, refreshing, and surprisingly layered in flavor. Hot Chai Tea -- Rich, warm, and incredibly smooth. Easily one of the best chai teas I've had at any boba shop. The interior decor is also a standout, clean, modern, cozy, and aesthetically designed. It's the kind of place you actually want to sit and enjoy your drink rather than rush out. Huge shoutout to Niko, whose recommendations were absolutely on point. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, exactly the kind of service that keeps you coming back. If you're in Aurora and looking for high-quality boba tea, Vannie House (my #47 Boba Tea Spot) is a must-try. I'll 100% be returning whenever I'm in the area.

Although this place has no links to the Middle Eastern heritage but the owner has done a decent job creating ambiance setting at this Hookah Lounge. We went there on Friday night around 9PM and my first impression was not very positive. Ventilation for Hookah Lounge was subpar and you can see a layer of smoke in the lounge when you enter. They have their front door open with a vacuum cleaner parked by the main entrance. Their menu and hookah selection is not very extensive. There were couple of appetizers listed on the menu and some coffee and tea options. Prices were on the higher side. I felt I was paying 5 star lounge prices at at 2 or 3 star place. We ordered Matka Chai (black tea) and a other drinks and appetizers. However we were informed they were out of appetizers. Hard to believe that ran out of food on a Friday at 9pm when 75% of the lounge was empty. One thing that made me very unhappy was that we were told that we can't sit there unless we order hookah. But that will allow us to sit there for 10 or 15 minutes without hookah. Was extremely surprised by that statement as our order for drinks and other times was over $200 and they were required us to order hookah. Service was the biggest disappointment, their staff lacked the basic courtesy and were downright rude. Towards the end I put 30% tip and not a word out of the servers mouth and telling us thank you for visiting them etc. Based on the lack of food options, horrible service and expensive prices. I will not recommend them. There are plenty of other options in Naperville area that you should try before going there.
