Today we chose Blacker Orthodontics to carry out my sons orthodontic needs. Having worked multiple years in the dental field, and knowing just how important PROPER orthodontic care can be for the duration of a persons life, I was not willing to settle. My sons case is not the easiest in the books. Knowing that his jaws and joints (not JUST the look of his teeth) will be taken into account and regularly monitored/adjusted accordingly is of great importance. I have seen many cases in which the teeth are made to be aesthetically pleasing, however the patients alignment and bite are not of uppermost importance- bringing complications and discomfort that require further treatment down the road. Each member of Blacker's team we encountered was upbeat and friendly. They made my son and I feel more than comfortable and FULLY informed and aware. They provided us with videos that physically show and explain just what the Dr is recommending and a copy of the internal and external photos they use to determine treatment needs. They even wrote the new patients name on a special board as you walk in, which shows that the office really goes an extra step. Dr. Blacker is also a board certified orthodontist, which requires a great deal more of him to ensure excellent knowledge and skill. Blacker Orthodontics has THE BEST customer service I have ever experienced at an orthodontist's office! They immediately greeted me when I walked through that door.! Awesome! As soon as I got there, paperwork was ready for me to fill out. All that was done within 10 min and the coordinator was right there to take me for a tour of the practice. X-Rays and photos were done within 10 minutes, and then back to the exam room it was. Leeda was amazing and never left me in the room without letting me know what she was leaving to go do. They have thought of everything in that place! Dr. Blacker was great and explained the treatment options, treatment duration, and what's to be expected of the treatment. Leeda took over after that and walked me through the financials. Everything was explained to me and all of my questions were answered. Amazing staff, people. I had thought about getting braces for years, and finally at the age of 54, I did. My dentist recommended Dr. Blacker, and I knew he would recommend the best. I got my braces on today and it's honestly one of the most exciting days of my life. I have wanted to straighten my teeth for a long time, but financials and fear kept me from moving forward. We recently went in for a consultation after visiting another orthodontist office. It was an easy choice to see the difference in this office verses the other. The time they took to answer my questions as well as my daughters showed their level of commitment towards putting fears and misconceptions behind us both. Very professional in how they presented the steps that would be taken to correct my daughters teeth as well as length of treatment. Well I was a transfer patient to begin with so I wasn't sure what to expect. i was able to start treatment and the first visit was so welcoming. I got a great welcome gift for joining the Blacker family and the Doctor even helped me with smoothing my front teeth that had been uneven from my overbite and my gap in my teeth. Dr. Blacker and his staff are great! My grandson started treatment about a year ago and was a little nervous at first about the whole procedure. But everyone at the practice has been so supportive and willing to explain everything to him, and it has really helped him overcome any initial concerns. Dr. Blacker is amazing. I had my braces taken off three years ago and my teeth shifted a little. I didn't wear my retainer for about two years and came back to Dr. Blacker to fix them again. I came in thinking he was going to charge me again, and instead he said it was a minor fix and would be more than happy to take care of it at no charge!
