The pizza naturally comes with lots of cheese, a perfect crust, and generous toppings.The restaurant itself is fantastic. It is big, spotlessly clean, and nice and cool inside. Me and my family love this!! Pizza is our thing as family and after trying many pizza places this one is by far one of our favorite places to go. The staff is great, very friendly and helpful. They are efficient at bringing out the food and cleaning up when needed. I feel like the wait time has never been too long either. The pizza is chefs kisses nice thin cut with lots of flavor and a great cheese pull!! We also get the antipasto salad which my family really enjoys!! We cele a different events there and the have a double side which is spacious enough for our family!! What an amazing pizza. First time trying gondola pizza and I could officially say this is my new favorite local pizza joint. The sausage alone on this pizza you could definitely tell its homemade sausage. The taste is on another level. The cheese you can tell also they use fresh mozzarella cheese and not some generic pre-shredded Lender of cheese. Pizza has great flavor, but it's heavy. A lot of dough. Quite the belly buster. I enjoy it when I'm craving more of a "deep dish" style pizza (even though it's not technically deep dish but it has that feel). The only bummer about Gondolas is it usually takes at least an hour for any takeout order to be ready and even so it's rarely ready when you show up for pickup. Incredible food with a friendly staff! My pop and I come here at least once a month to grub on some delicious pizza! The pizza may take awhile, but it is worth it! I haven't been back for a while. I used to come here on a weekly basis for their Hawaiian pizza and antipasto salads. I have always enjoyed their pizza. Since COVID, there were other pizza locations closer. Long story short, I came in today to try out their linguine and clams and a side of tarimisu. The portion of the pasta was huge. The flavor was decent. I would recommend ordering it without green onions. The family size linguine and clams came with a side salad or soup. I chose the salad. It was a good salad. The tiramisu was very good. I enjoyed it very much. For those who have never come here, the service consists of a customer lining up to order and pay. Then you are given a number, if your dining there. They give you your food. If you need to refill your drinks or pack up your food, you have to go up there to ask for the items. The dirty dishes get picked up by staff after you leave. It's a very mom and pop shop type of pizza joint. The locals come eat here a lot. read more

Two slices of the large were more than enough for me thanks to the loads of sausage and veggies that they pile high on their pizza. The prices are a bit high for pizza, but the amount of food you get is also more than you would probably expect. The sausage they use on their pizza is so good with fennel seed. They have delicious cannolis for dessert. They have yummy cheese bread for appetizers. They have delicious buffalo wings. They also have good pastas and salad, for eat-in or takeout. Favorites among my family are the pizzas - any toppings, we haven't found a bad one yet and their pizza sauce in particular is delicious. Get a meatball with your pasta, yum. And their antipasto salad is pretty standard and tasty. Their hot torpedo sandwiches are my dad's favorite, and big enough to share, especially if you're getting anything else with it. The bread that comes with the dinners is surprisingly blah, for how good their crust is. And if it's not a red sauce here, I'd skip it personally. Here's where the expectations come in - it WILL take time to receive your order! It may even take time to TAKE your order! This isn't P Hut or dominos. Yesterday we went here to eat because we have eaten here for over 50 years and it's a great place. We ordered a pizza with bbq sauce and cheese and chicken and pineapple. The girl taking the order said,you can't add anything on specialty pizza. I responded with we understand that we will have to pay extra for an additional topping. She said no that didn't matter you can't do it. I asked her to talk to someone else about this issue because we have ordered this specific pizza for years. Got a lasagna dinner to go tonight. It was lukewarm and salty. Piece of garlic bread was dinky. What's happened to this fabulous family restaurant? Sad that since the owner passed the food (except the pizza) has gone downhill. A month ago I had one of their Caesar salads and the dressing made me ill. Possibly not properly refrigerated and in the temperature danger zone. Won't order this again. I most likely won't be back for a while and when we do go back, we will definitely get their sausage and meatball pizza with pineapple and onions. Their pizza is delicious. I am 63 years old and have been dining at Gondola Pizza since I was 17 years old. I also enjoyed their other restaurant, Agrusa's. The only thing I can think of is the food has changed since the owner has passed. The only logical reason. We will be back; however, not as often. I had a HORRIBLE phone experience with an employee today. She refused to give me her name and refused to provide me with any manager information. I was placed on hold for over 20 minutes and then had to call back because I was transferred to an answering service. Every time I called, I couldn't speak I was placed on hold immediately. Once I finally got someone on the phone, I instantly received an attitude and when I asked to speak to a manger she responds with "a manager isn't here today, so are you going to order or not because we have a line of people inside waiting and I don't have time for this." When I proceeded to tell her about my wait time on hold, she proceeds to tell me "we have an hour wait, and we are busy." I've worked in customer service before and in a busy food service job as well, this is not how you speak to someone, regardless if you are busy and frustrated. The place itself gets busy but the workers move fast and are friendly. They offer dine in and take out. You can also order for delivery with DoorDash. "Blatant disrespect and possible racial discrimination." This was one of the most upsetting dining experiences I've ever had. My wife and I came in around 5 PM, ordered a combination pizza and beer, and waited... and waited. We finished our beers but no pizza. When we asked the staff, they brushed us off with a lazy excuse: "Combination pizza takes longer." Meanwhile, other tables -- who arrived 20 to 30 minutes after us -- were being served the exact same pizza. When we asked again, we were told, "It's coming soon." Then another table that arrived much later than us got their combination pizza before us. It was clear we were being ignored. We demanded to speak to a supervisor. Shockingly, she offered no apology, no explanation -- just rudely said we'd get a refund and could eat the pizza for free when it finally came. Her attitude was disrespectful and offensive. As an Asian couple, we couldn't ignore the feeling that this might have been racially motivated. We left deeply disappointed, angry, and humiliated. This place ruined our evening, and their behavior is completely unacceptable. I strongly warn others -- think twice before coming here. read more
