Dropped in on two separate occasions. One for diagnostic and possible repairs. I was recommended to visit the maker's repair shop to cut out any guesswork. I appreciated that although I wasn't sure what to expect but expensive repairs. Then recently I got an inspection since the other Black's Tire location was very busy (2-3 hr wait). They made a call and held my place at this location until I arrived. I was at this location for perhaps 30 mins or a little more while the inspection was made. Clean, spacious, and great-smelling restroom. Classic movies on tv with a view to Fayetteville Road. Service is attentive and knowledgeable staff. read more

Ran over a huge nail on I-95 (and heard a big pop) on my way for a family vacation and was on the side of the highway waiting for AAA. While I waited over an hour for AAA to come, I looked up nearby tire stores to see who had a comparable tire and to find out wait times. Called four places, including another Black's location that said it would a couple hours. Luckily, Fred at this location had a similar tire and said there wouldn't be a huge wait. Three guys worked on my car and I was in and out in less than 20 mins! This place is awesome! Thank you Fred, Joey, and team for helping us get back on the road so we could get to our destination! If you want to waste your time and pay for unnecessary repairs go to this shop. was told that they open at 0730 and got there a 0700 and it was packed with friends and relative. if you are on 95 and need help call AAA and pay for a tow to anyplace other that this facility. Stay away. Told me parts on my vehicle were worn-out and must be replaced. Went there for front end alignment parts were not worn out. Charged 30.00 . I have a shop and had checked by 2 other garages. They will do unnecessary repairs and charge you Will never go there again. read more

While on vacation we ran over a piece of metal in the road and had a blow out. We called everywhere and nobody could have our tire in stock until the beginning of the following week. We called Black's Tire and spoke with Joey. He ordered it and had it to us and installed within 2 hours so we could get back on the road to continue our vacation! Unfortunately, While on a long road trip, we experienced a blowout but then we had the good fortune to be recommended by a rockstar employee named Jess at Tractor Supply in Lumberton, NC, then along came Joey Smith who is the real hero in this tire saga...Joey was AWESOME! He got us out the door back on our road trip in less than 10 minutes. HAVE ON FEAR...BLACK's TIRE IS HERE! Thanks for making a stressful ordeal a lot less stressful! Do not ever go here. Provided poor service to our car and Charged a $1000 for parts, that ended up being the WRONG part for our car. Would not return calls to refund any money.. We were told they're working on it and every time we checked in they're stutter put on hold and HANG UP on us! Never AGAIN would I trust them for anything. read more

I had my car towed there due to it that it was suppose to be in my warranty company's network. The counter attendants were very rude and nasty. I'm glad that I had to take it to another shop. While traveling I had a tire in really bad shape. I called the shop at 7:15 am which was before they opened. I received a quote within two minutes. We arrived to the shop and explained that we were traveling and had 4 tires and an oil change done in 45 minutes. The entire shop crew jumped in to get us back on the road. We had a flat. Our Geico road service changed our tire. We went to Wal-Mart to see if the flat could be fixed. It could not. They recommended we spend the night and go to Black's on Monday morning. We, a group of stupid college girls were led astray by google maps and were led down a muddy Back rock. Upon emerging from the green swap, we stumbled upon blacks tire who helped us clean out the ridiculous amount of mud and sand under our car to get it going above 50mph. They were super helpful and nice and charged us an incredibly fair price. Would definitely recommend! read more

I took my vehicle here when the fuel pump went out and my vehicle would not crank. They replaced the fuel pump and within weeks my car began having issues cranking, I took my vehicle back multiple times and was told they were not able to figure out what was wrong with my car; the only thing they said they could do was trial and error to replace parts and see if the problem resolved. After my vehicle being in and out of the shop over a couple of weeks and getting no where, I took my vehicle to another shop. The new shop within 30 minutes knew what the problem was, the fuel pump placed in my vehicle at Blacks Tire was the wrong fuel pump for my car. I went back to Blacks Tire and was told there was nothing they could do, the warranty Blacks had given me would not be honored because I had taken it to another shop (yet Blacks Tire was unable to diagnose or fix the problem). This cost tons of money having to pay for two fuel pumps, other parts then on top of that another car to drive during that time! read more

be careful at black tires fay road Lumberton. Purchase a set of tires there and a 4 wheel alinement. several months later one tire bouncing three tires good. they balance the tire. tire steal bouncing they don't want to replace or prorate the tire but they want to find something wrong with your car to blame it on. said lower L/side lower control arm bad. did not let them replace it. instead went to another shop check out fine. TIRE WAS OUT OF ROUND. would not recommend or ever go here again. read more
