I received very good service from Black's Tire & Auto Service located on Wicker Street in Sanford. They have service bays big enough to work on motor homes. Good lounge waiting area, clean bathroom, and adequate vending machines. They were very timely with their service. read more

Went here for auto inspection. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I would think twice about going back if the lady that checked me in was there again. It was obvious she was having a bad day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I did not realize that the auto dealership put tint on windows. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She advised me with an attitude that the tint was on by auto dealership.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got charged $10 extra dollars. I called the auto dealer just to make sure they did put tint on, they did. She tried to have a customer service voice when answering the phone but it just wasn't convincing. wait times are unacceptable most places in town take appointments. techs are hit and miss at best. tough to get good help maybe but pay more or train better. oil change 1.5 quarts low bad puncture repair. last visit tires were over 50$ more then place nearby they are nice people at least read more

Pretty much took advantage of my wife during my last deployment. Spent over 700 in tires that you couldn't even drive 50 on the highway while it was raining and it got even worse the harder it rained. Definitely will not use any of their services again read more

JESSICA at the front is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. went in with a rental car and was told they were expecting me. her attitude towards me initially was inappropriate and condescending. she spoke to an associate in a rude way in front of me and that also was very uncomfortable and unprofessional. Jeasica, you need to re evaluate your customer service attitude! I will not ever deal with this location. To management, maybe consider some one who represents the company in a friendly manner. read more

Dont go here if you want customer service or have special needs. I spent 3hrs trying to get an oil change. They didn't greet me when I came in. Every time I came back, I was told it would be 40+ minutes before they could get to me and 40+ minutes to change the oil. I had called yesterday for an appointment, but they dont do appointments. I tried again to make one because I'm autistic and strange place cause me problems. They wouldn't help at all I had to go to them because I had an Enterprise rental car. It was only 1 of 2 places in Sanford I could go, and I didn't know there was a 2nd option. Once I found out, I left and went there. They had me in and out in 30 minutes. That is after they calmed me down on the phone and told me how to get there. I dont know how a place can stay in business with customer service like this. They caused me a meltdown, a headache and I can look forward to a rough night. I'm keeping my business with the other company, and I made sure Enterprise was informed, as well. read more

I have been going to this place for about 8 years. Before they changed owners, they were great. That has all changed. This was my experience the last three times. 1) oil change with an appointment - 1 hour. 2) Inspection with an appointment - 1.5 hours, and 3) the one that did it for me was for an oil changes and a leaking tire - 2.5 hours - with an appointment! They didn't even apologize. In fact they acted like it was normal procedure which I guess for them it was. Not sure what the deal is with them now. They used to be good AND fast. Now...not even close. If your time is valuable to you - DON'T GO THERE. Side note: I took my other vehicle to the guy down the street on the corner for an inspection. No appointment but was in and out in less than 20 minutes! read more

Was going on a long trip. Needed an oil change along w a general road-worthiness check (belts, hoses etc). They seemed happy that I could leave it. Although they said "no appointments" they said "we'll work it in and call you around 3". Work it in? No call at 3. When I called at 3:30 the person at the desk couldn't find my paperwork and acted pissed that I called. Finally "no one has looked at your car yet" that's since 8AM. Around 4 I called. A rinse and repeat of the 3:15 call. Again at 5. Same. At 5:30 I finally got a call."You need to come get your car. We'll be locking it up at 6 when we close and you won't be able to get it till tomorrow!" Really? You drag your feet all damned day, and then (allegedly) do the job at the last possible minute then threaten me? I got my car. Raised Hell about their treatment and met a guy who tried to smooth things over. No thanks. Too late. Stay away from these people. Frankly I'm not convinced they did anything to my car aside from updating the oil change sticker at 5:30. read more
