I called AAA who refered me to Blacks towing via triple-A aka AAA; I needed my car to be towed to dealer for service. When I called tripple-A they told me that I needed to pay for any miles past 9 miles at $9 per mile, the first time I called. The second time I called AAA, said I needed to pay for each mile after 7... I was afraid to call them a third time. After towing ... a few hours later, Blacks towing shows up at my door and they want $54.00 dollars for the towing; However, when I print-out Maps.google.com PROVING with facts that the tow job is only +5 miles rounded (same rounding technique they tried to use on me!) , the driver bitches and moans that he will need to pay the difference out of his pocket... which I told him is bullship. I further told him, that if he's gunna pay bullship fees, "... give me back my check!..." [He refused to give me back my check.] I handed them check for the calculated amount [even though I think it is some sort of AAA {triple-A} RIPOFF] The dude had the odasity to tell me that he "...doesn't trust (me)..." my check. WHAT AN ASSHIOLE!@@@@ I've used Blacks [a few times] for some years... not again. I trusted these guys with my car, but asshiole tells me he doesn't trust my check???? What a bunch of jerks and ripoff artists. Find another tow operator. These guys are not koshjer.... nott professionals. Also, they try play good-guy-bad-guy with "dispatcher" bullship. We already struggle with the cost of living and then you add this highway robbery ? My car broke down today and had to call AAA to get it towed home and ended up having a pleasant experience when not being in the best of moods. I was lucky enough that they were able to show up in 20 minutes so that was good. But the driver is who made it a pleasurable experience. Anthony was our driver and definitely not your typical tow truck driver. Young guy and polite and probably the first time I met a tow truck driver with charisma. My 3 year old daughter was with us and she can be quite the chatter box but he just kept smiling and entertaining her by answering her questions and continued to converse with her and I. It's just nice to meet people like that especially when you're having a bad day. Good kid, definitely has a bright future and he earned this review for his company so hopefully they will see it and give him the accolades he deserves. I had to have my car towed recently twice due to my antitheft system been activated and it shut down my entire car. That was frustrating for sure but the level of kindness and care and service that blacks towing gave to me was above and beyond.! Cramer! He is the kindest man and so helpful.. he went out of his way to call reinforcement to help them try to figure out what was wrong with my car before deciding to tow it.. he was also just cracking jokes, and trying to keep the mood light because he knew I was so stressed out.. the best experience I've ever had with a tow! I also had my car towed to the dealership. A few days later, and again blacks towing was prompt, on time with the appointment, and went above, and beyond again to try to help me with my car before actually towing it! Greatest people ever to have tow your vehicle. After sending another POS company *cough* Angelos *cough* on there way cause their driver refused to do a tow for stupid reasons. Black's Towing called and gave me continuous updates and Mike showed up. Laughed at the previous driver, took the time to secure my truck to his wheel and dolly which my truck almost didn't fit *The POS company brought the flat I requested but "couldn't do it"*. Mike made it work and took it to the repair shop I requested and was nothing but courteous and understanding of the situation. Called these guys to pick up one of my company trucks and told them I would pay for it with a credit card over the phone. When the guy got there he told my employee that they don't do that. It has to be in person. This would not have been a problem except I told them that's how I was going to pay and they didn't say anything about it being a problem. Good way to make a bad situation worse. Won't use them again. After all that the driver was very nice and fast. In the day of being able to accept credit cards over the phone or even on an iPhone they still have to write out a receipt with part of my card number on it then call into their office and wait for approval. Very inefficient and annoying for a customer. read more

I just called AAA Roadside to tow my sisters car this evening. We were on the side of the road in Murrieta and AAA sent out Black's Tow. I was called immediately by Black's to verify our location, then received a call within minutes from our tow driver, Tommy. He was awesome and arrived within 15 minutes of me calling AAA. We totally appreciated it since it was dark and we had our kiddos with us waiting in my car to get my sisters car towed. On 4/27 my birthday my parents came for a surprise visit. They dropped off some treats for us and when they went back to their truck it wouldn't start. We called AAA and they sent us a tow truck driver from Blacks Towing. The driver CJT was so polite and helpful . Not to mention he was able to back up a flatbed towing my parents truck into their long driveway. That takes some skill. I just wanted to say that CJT made my parents feel that he really cared about them and their situation. Fairly new Cadillac DTS, and my battering went down. I don't drive that often now that I am retired and moved here to Murrieta from San Diego, it sits most of the time. I have several cars and use the luxury ones for "Sunday Driving" only. This one hadn't been driven for any length of time for over six weeks. Service Tech - Steve - from Blacks Towing (1st time), was absolutely awesome. Very friendly and the service was prompt. They are all trained by AAA for customer service. From the people who answer the phone, to the dispatchers who keep in touch with me about sending a driver and following up to be sure the driver has arrived. AAA sent another tow truck that refused to drive down the dirt road (in Menifee) where we were stuck! Black's Towing (really sorry I didn't get the drivers name) was able to get the same type truck down the road in the dark. The driver went above and beyond to pull us out and also jumped the battery on our second car after it died while we were waiting for the first truck! The dispatcher's estimate of the arrival time for the tow truck driver was accurate. Tommy, my tow truck driver arrived less than 30 mins. Blacks towing shouldn't have a contract with AAA because their customer service sucks. Especially the driver named Mike who is obstinate and ignored our request to tow my car to my driveway. He dropped my car in front of my house illegally 24 inches from the curb. He wouldnt wait while i called the office even and just had my dad and i upset to no end. My car got stolen in Hemet was found by Temecula police on Saturday 1/27/18 so blacks towing took it to there yard wants to charge almost 500 dollars to get it out the same day the person's that stole are in jail I am without my car because now the towing company charges to much to get out there legal thieves read more

Black's was contacted/contracted by AAA to provide towing services for me. I was told it would take about 90 minutes, but three hours later they never showed up! I wouldn't recommend them if you have any urgency. I did and they failed me. read more
