I put a request in for a tow at 10:40pm. They arrived at 12:26pm to pick up my vehicle. The drop off was located 16 miles from the loading destination and when they hadn't arrived with my vehicle after 30 minutes I reached out to the dispatch. She confirmed they had the correct drop off location and it wasn't until I called a second time that she explained she had re routed the driver to handle a dead battery while I am waiting on my car. Its now 2:25am and I'm still without my vehicle. I don't know who I am more upset with, AAA for hiring a third party company that obviously doesn't provide the same level of service standards or this company that thinks it's ok to make a stop with my vehicle on their truck to service another issue before completing my request. read more

Roadside tech falsely diagnosed an elderly woman's car and that she needed to take her car to the shop for a starter which would be an expense. The elderly woman asked for battery service and when the roadside tech applied battery cables to charge her battery, he wrongly applied the cables to make it look like the battery was dead and said it needed a starter. Well I knew better but didn't say anything. After he left I went to my car and got out a battery charger that I have in my trunk from Costco and applied to her battery correctly and her car started right up . She had a new battery in her trunk that I switched out myself . Her car runs with no problems starting up . I believe there are too many people scamming the elderly but I saved one that day !!! She is a 18 year membership holder with AAA and deserved an honest and better service . read more

so unfortunately i was in an accident and my car was towed to this lot. With it being the weekend there was nothing I could do before speaking to my insurance about how to proceed with my car. This morning I spoke to both my insurance and black towing that I would come to empty out my car today and that I wouldn't be able to be there until 4:30 ...they said that would be fine and we'll see you at 4:30. The tl;dr is that my experience with Black's towing was phenomenal. I scheduled a tow through AAA, which was super easy. That ease of service was extended when Black's Towing took the service request and followed up with me before the pickup window. The service representative called me about 30 minutes prior to the scheduled pickup window, confirmed the pickup and drop off locations, and provided an ETA of when to expect the driver. They even sent a link via text message with the location and ETA of the driver, which was a nice touch. When the driver arrived, he greeted me kindly, and quickly began setting up the tow bed for the vehicle. Within just a few moments the vehicle was on the tow truck, strapped in, and we were ready to go. I rode along with the driver to the destination, a mechanic shop. The driver was engaging and drove well, which is something I can't say about many tow truck drivers. I actually learned a lot about which vehicles require frequent towing for which reasons during our drive. Very informative. I will definitely reach out to a tow truck driver next time I'm shopping for a vehicle. After arriving to the destination, the driver pulled up right outside of the mechanic's garage bay. He unloaded the car very quickly, but not once was I concerned about my rims or anything being damaged. Surprisingly, he also opened the hood of my car to check if there were any signs of critters that may have chewed through wiring or hoses. Apparently, that's a common thing during the colder times of year. Fortunately, there were no signs of critters. It was still a very kind gesture. I've only had to deal with coordinating a tow a few times before. This was by far the best experience I've had so far. I can't speak to the value of the service outside of going through AAA, but I would recommend Black's Towing if you're ever in need. read more

I have AAA. The driver, Fabian, was extremely unprofessional and left without even providing service outside my child's school. Fabian wanted to make things difficult, citing "policy." I had to wait for another driver to come out. Horrible experience, but Stacey did help send another driver, although I had to wait from 7:50am until 9:40am until the second driver helped me with my roadside assistance ticket. I was told the second driver would arrive in approximately 15 minutes but waited over 45 minutes. The first driver, Fabian, closed my first ticket and I had to make another one - he was in contact with Stacey. If I had made a second ticket I would have waited and waited with no result. Very poor experience; not what I'm accustomed to with previous roadside assistance tickets, including with Black's Towing. read more

We called triple A and they dispatched this tow company to come and help with a flat tire, when the guy came out he did not know/could not take the tire off to put the spare on ( and we found out later that he had damaged the rim trying) so he said the car had to be towed. We had already waited 45 minutes for him to show up and then he said it would take another 60-90 minutes for a tow truck to show up, the tow company never followed up, triple A could not verify when they would arrive! We called triple A at 630pm and these people never showed up until 10:24pm. GREAT SERVICE.... FANTASTIC JOB! Let people be stranded and wait for 4 hours! So here's what happened, my car decided to overheat and died on the exit ramp of Los Alamos in Murrieta. So instantly I put my hazards on and immediately called AAA for a tow and to please dispatch police to block of the lane, since my car was so bad I couldn't even put it into neutral and move it out of the way..... AAA- via Black's Towing came The first guy hauled ass to get my car up and didn't really secure it too well, he made another stop at a gas station to do it which is sketchy....... and what if my car fell off?!?! He was rude, like I inconvenienced him, because my car wasn't in a safe area, AAA drivers in the area had to drop what they were doing... so he was showing his frustration with me..... I'm like well I didn't plan on breaking down sorry we get to my destination which is work... he drops off the car like 3 feet away from the curb and leaves it like nothing. At first this was going to be a 3 star review but...... After work I had to get towed once again from this company , my employer gave me one of her tows thru AAA because you can only get one tow in 24 hrs. J.R. picked me and my hunk of junk up and was a really pleasant and a happy guy, he chatted with me on the way to a Mechanic shop in Fallbrook, which is a good 30-45 minute ride. He called dispatch to ask about who would drop my car off 3 feet from the curb and was rude... he got to the bottom of it and said he would talk to him about policy and regulations. Turns out J.R.
