She was trying her best to size us up which is just gross to be honest. She exhibited the type of off-putting vibe that gives the North Shore a bad rep. The first note from the manager was- that's about of stuff--- well if you don't want that much, then limit it on your website. A nice way to put it would have been to say "thank you, but we may have to make another appointment". I'm a recently retired physician and have many nice work shoes and clothing items that were never worn, especially during COVID, and would have liked to consign so others could enjoy. It isn't worth the hassle factor. Just donate straight away.

Where they fell down (hard, IMO) was service. I wandered for about ten or more minutes looking around. There were at least three employees here (though one was in the back for at least part of my visit), and only two other parties whilst I was in here--both of whom left at least five minutes before I finished up. Not a single employee said a word to me whilst until I checked out, when one had to acknowledge me. They talked to each other... I heard them gossiping about family holiday drama... and even when they stopped chatting and parted, neither could spare a hello or anything. All this is to say that I don't expect I'll return, which won't be too difficult since I'm not in Winnetka often, but there are other shops where you can get pretty much anything that's here and you'll be treated better.

Margaret has told me twice, a customer service rep by phone and now Robert Georgiou has told me he received an email showing the credit processing it and that is was just processed yesterday. I asked for a copy of the email showing me the credit. He sent me the same pdf I have received twice before with today's date on it. Has never sent me the email from accounting and if it was processed yesterday why does the pdf have today's date? This company is scamming people. I just looked up on google and there are people from all over claiming the same things. Beware!

This is one rather cavernous room filled with couches, tables, beds, rugs, outdoor furniture. All very decidedly neutral. Prices are marked down but still pretty pricey. Still, the furniture was in very good condition and available (no waiting). I think RH furniture is well-made and quality. They had pillow covers and towels but I didn't see all the other furnishings and accessories at the other stores. I'll come back when I have something specific in mind to purchase.

These were not custom but simply a standard order for merchandise from their vendor yet they refuse to stand behind their product or recommendation and accept a return. I loved two of their sofa pieces with movable backs and the flexibility on customizing it. Prices were competitive for the european contemporary style. The downstairs area had sale pieces too. I got a different sofa from elsewhere, but this place was on my top 5 after looking at about 30 stores.
