They both went way above and beyond to help me figure out the problem and create the right solution, and they understood my urgency in resolving the problem - I was less than 2 days away from selling my home. I visited several furniture stores and was greeted promptly, was able to see an enormous amount of furniture, especially at Furnitureland South, where I placed a large order. I was still looking for four or five items and stopped into Britt Carter to see if I could find anything that I would like as I am in the market for high end to luxury furniture. I walked in on Wednesday and the girl sitting behind the desk did not acknowledge me, not even a "hello" or 'can we help you." I walked the entire store freely snapping pictures of items that looked interesting to me assuming someone would approach me. I was the only customer in the store the whole time. That didn't happen and when I left, the same girl did not even look up from her phone to at least say goodbye. Nothing said. I realized at that moment that this would never be a retail establishment that I would do business with. So right in the parking lot, I texted a photo of the beautiful item I saw there to my sales person in High Point and I ordered that exact item at a significant lower price from her. As an interesting side note, the artist/decorator I am working with in my renovation told me he brought a client into Britt Carter recently - he was looking for a lot of items and they were completely ignored as well. He assumed it was because they were in work clothes having just completed an installation at the house. The client refused to stay since he was not being acknowledged and they went down the street to Job Youshaei and the client spent $80,000. My decorator did call and speak directly to Britt about this but it doesn't look like things have changed. I'm guessing that, even though their sign on the outside says that they are open to the public, they really prefer to work with decorators with appointments. If that is really what they want their business model to be, that is entirely their prerogative, but be transparent about it. I would not return except to get some great photos of lovely furniture that I could actually order elsewhere for a lower price and exceptional customer service.

I did some online browsing before coming into the store to see what they have; they have a plethora of options at such affordable prices. They didn't have as much in store as they did online but you're able to place your order online at the store. There's also a large downstairs with additional furniture like beds, couches, coffee tables, etc. We found easy parking right in front of the store, as well. We were helped by Daisy who was very personable and helpful. After finding a couch, we sat down together and she went through the pricing with taxes and delivery. Everything was very upfront and she made the process quick and seamless. Our bed was delivered to our second floor apartment (they called me prior to arrange a time) literally two days later! The 2 gentlemen were nice and made carrying a couch look very easy! We've been obsessed with our new couch ever since. If you want quality furniture for a good price, I definitely recommend Furniture Avenue!

I loved two of their sofa pieces with movable backs and the flexibility on customizing it. Prices were competitive for the european contemporary style. The downstairs area had sale pieces too. I got a different sofa from elsewhere, but this place was on my top 5 after looking at about 30 stores.

We instantly told them about the issue and their response was basically "sorry, you ordered them". These were not custom but simply a standard order for merchandise from their vendor yet they refuse to stand behind their product or recommendation and accept a return. Rather than removing the item from the table display to properly measure, she tried to hold the tape measure up to the display. She told me it was 60". I got it home and it did not fit. I called within 15 min of making the purchase. The woman then said it was actually 63". I said I had to return the item. She told me I can only return for a store credit! I paid cash, the error was hers, and I don't get my money back??? She said that's the store policy- credit ONLY. I was told I would have to talk to the manager the next day. I decided to properly measure the item myself. It was actually 78"!!! I called Adesso again. I asked the sales-women to repeat the measurements. She said 63". I then told her "I just measured and it is actually 78"!!! "So I assume I can now come in for my refund!" She had the audacity to still say I would have to talk to a manager the next day. I again told her it was her mistake and not mine. She would not budge. After 3 phone calls, about 5 minutes of going back and forth trying to get a refund, she says that her sales associate is telling her they can void out the purchase and I can return it. She made no apologies for their lack of professional conduct or for my aggravation due to her error. I will never shop at Adesso in Highland Park again :) When a business hires idiots - it only reflects on the store directly.

This is no Home Depot -- they have hundreds of…read moretiles on display, some set up with vanities and showers like little rooms -- and it gets in your head like a disease -- the urge to makeover every room in your house. We will be renovating some rooms, so it's good to be able to see all the different kinds of tile available, in so many colors, styles and price points.
