Beautiful restaurant, delicious food, and wonderful service! My friends ordered the lemon chicken and tacos, and I got to try a little of each--wow! Everything was packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. I'm already excited to come back and try more! Highly recommend

Blackstone really surprised me... initially we thought it was a take on an American food but we were led to a completely different experience. The Hispanic flair of this restaurant makes me excited to go back and experience more. The Vibe: of the restaurant is rustic, with foliage, wonderful decor, great lighting and art on the wall. They set a wonderful tone for a nice evening out with family or a nice date. Plenty of seating and even some just at the bar if you're in for a quick drink. The service: Jesus was our host and honestly we were very grateful for him. He brought in good suggestions, we let him know what we were debating on and he narrowed it out for us. He was wonderful in simple conversation checked in often and made sure we enjoyed everything. You would get 5 stars on his service alone. The food: There was not one dish we did not like from the appetizers, to the sauces that came with the chips, THE MOLE!!! I had the Branzino with the salad and it was amazing, the crispy skin, the seasoning was just on point. My Wife got the file braised short ribs and she does not usually finish her food and she cleaned her plate. She shared some with me and it was perfect!! We also got a side of mushrooms and they were amazing. My mother in law got the chicken Belagio, and she loved it. I had a taste of hers as well and the chicken was really good and tender even when fried. We usually don't get dessert when we get appetizers but we had to give it a go. The tres leches was pretty delicious, a little dry in parts but I did enjoy it. Overall Blackstone was a wonderful experience, when you have great service and a wonderful play on flavors you get the CJAC

Food is delicious. I ordered the mascarpone French toast and steak and eggs for breakfast! The steak and eggs were amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly. The mascarpone pancakes were absolutely delicious. I loved every bite of my breakfast today! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the price. The food was excellent, but it felt a little overpriced for the portion sizes. We'd definitely come back, just maybe not as often because of the cost. Service was nice! They were friendly.

Blackstone is right down the road from my parents house, they have been multiple times and have enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner here - they said it's one of their favorite places to dine at. I had breakfast with them this weekend and it was an excellent meal! The decor is dark and modern, the seating is super comfy, and the service was fast and friendly. I had the Benedict Flight and it was delicious! I finished the Jalapeno, spinach, & tomato benedict, and only ate half of the other two so I could bring them home to my husband. Chipotle with bacon and ham was yummy, but my favorite was Tomatillo, pork belly, and avocado, SO freaking good! The potatoes on the side were crispy and seasoned to perfection. He reheated it all the next day for breakfast and said it was outstanding. My parents got their apple empanadas, I don't like cooked apples so it wasn't my jam, but they loved them. They also had the Meat Lover's Omelette and Ribeye Sandwich with truffle fries. All I tried were the fries and they were very good. They both loved their meals and I could tell the ribeye sandwich was super tender, my stepmom bit right through it with no issue, she took half home cause it was a very large sandwich. Total after tip was $150, which also included a Bloody Mary, iced tea, and Arnold Palmer. It's pricey, but well worth it for how good it was. I hope we eat here again when I visit them!

Dry waffles, no flavor and not crispy potatoes and salty meats

Ooof. This made me sad. You can unfortunately cook better food overall at home. The waffle? Dry. You can tell they use pancake batter for it. The slam, good serving but those potatoes are poorly cooked. The meat are just eh. Nothing special what so ever. I wish they had actually listened when we said we need to leave at a certain time cause they took so long to take our order we had to flag them down and then the food took a while too. The service was okay overall. BUT the place is a vibe inside. It is quite dark so be prepared for that. Just pretty disappoint cause those prices for that quality of food was not it.

Went to this spot yesterday for a double date. This place was absolutely amazing. Atmosphere 10/10 Lets get started with the amazing atmosphere. The decor and ambiance was very soothing and modern. The place was clean and organized. Definitely a great spot for a date. Food 9/10 Me and my girlfriend got the Apple empanadas and the chefs platter. The other party ordered a mole brisket dish and something that had gravy which I don't remember. The Apple empanadas was so good. It was like eating an hot apple pie with cinnamon on top and adding this milky sauce on top which melts in your mouth. So good! I loved the chefs platter which was $70 and it was enough for 2-3 people. The chefs platter contained chicken, steak, juicy plantain, chilaquiles, and homestyle potatoes. This dish was absolutely amazing and everything tasted great. Service 8/10 The service was good. Our waiter was always checking in on us and getting everything we needed in a timely matter. I would just recommend extra smiles haha.

I found this restaurant while looking for nice places to eat in area. The good reviews were what caught my attention to begin with, but when I saw the pictures of the food and the interior, I was definitely convinced. Banana latte was the star of the show. Absolutely delicious. If you like something sweet, the lattes are a good choice. The chicken Cesar wrap, missed the mark. Lettuce was hot and wilted. The dressing was dripping from the tortilla. Was kinda disgusting. I had to open it up and just eat the chicken by itself. This item definitely needs to hit the drawing board again. Yuck! My friend ordered the Eggs Benny flight and that was good. Next time I'll try something different.

Great brunch spot in Corona. Enjoyed the chilaquiles w jalapeño crema (but do they have to charge extra for eggs?? That's always come included), mascarpone French toast with tres leches sauce and the three piece empanada appetizer. The cafe de olla is too sweet and wish they offered fresh milk/cream instead of creamer singles. Giving 3 stars bc of the wait staff. When Our table had a milk spill, it was difficult getting anyone's attention, they did not help with the cleanup on the table or floor and just handed us extra napkins. Would have definitely appreciated the help!

My wife and I near the other day the first time. It was absolutely amazing. We walked right in grabbed a seat at the bar. Made me an incredible smoked cherry old-fashioned and my wife got a berry heaven cocktail. We decided to splurge and share the cowboy steak and a large lobster tail with tiramisu for dessert. It was absolutely amazing. Little bit pricey but well worth it for a special night out. They also had things that were a lot more affordable that looked amazing. Definitely be going back.

The food was great except for the iced arroz con leche latte it was very grainy so I did swap it for a cafe de olla. The coffee was lacking a bit of flavor but it was still better than the grainy iced coffee. The inside was a little darker than I anticipated but it was overall okay. Food was good and service was good this was overall a nice breakfast spot.

This is my second time here for brunch. Both meals were incredible, as was the service and and atmosphere. Corona hasn't had a place like this, what a gigantic blessing to have such a special spot to spend quality time with as someone with decadent food! The mascarpone French toast is insane, the flight of eggs benedict (I heard) was delicious, the steak and eggs - perfection. The wait staff is also perfectly dialed in, professional, warm, gracious and timely.Today we were in the amazing hands of Mayra F, she was an expert on the menu and so organized. This place is so delicious and authentic. We got the chicken chipotle chilaquiles and the chips stayed crispy when you bite into it. The chicken is grilled to perfection and the chipotle sauce is perfect, not spicy at all. Matias recommended the chicken and waffles and was delicious as well. My friend and I went here for breakfast. The restaurant decor is nice and modern. The food is plentiful & delicious with a mixture of unique blends to traditional blends. The spinach & artichoke rolls were creamy with flaky crust, the chipotle chicken enchiladas were very flavorful, & the waffles were moist with a vanilla flavor. So glad to have this Breakfast restaurant open up here, tired of the same ole breakfast options. My wife ordered the Toast Flight and it was amazing, sorry no pic . I ordered the Steak and Eggs with the chimichuri, and they do it right with a proper Steak Knife. Atmosphere is nice, staff is friendly. Service was not good. We were seated right away, but it took 10-12 mins for a server to acknowledge us. We were not impressed with the food. The yogurt Parfait was room temperature not cold. The floutas were ok, they were soft not firm/fried. The chicken sandwich tasted like nothing. The fries were really good. The biscuits were not edible. We won't return. Prices were high for what we got, for 2 sodas and those meals was over $100. read more

Nice atmosphere, nice patio that was perfect for my family with a toddler. Our server German was very nice and always checked on us which we appreciate. Food was great I had chiliquiles with over easy eggs on top with a side of avocado. Sauce was super tasty it was tomatillo sauce. For my drink I had a arroz con leche latte super good and tasty. Service was great recommend making a reservation. We didn't have to wait very long after checking in. Also our waiter was great he was on top of everything. Always had water and came multiple times to ask if we needed anything. I totally recommend at least trying this place. I believe they are open for brunch on Saturday and Sundays. read more

My husband and I tried some things off the new dinner menu. Everything was delicious. We had the ribeye tacos and fundido. The bar and restaurant is beautiful and our server was great. As soon as we walked in Mayra greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome while checking on us constantly. The warm lighting and modern seating created an upscale vibe, but we were able to order our food quickly and it was delicious. Yikes... PLEASE PLEASE fix that foul odor at the bar!! Dirty dish rag, clogged drains stench. No way we could eat at the bar. Sat near a couple that could barely handle it too. Bartender said they've had a few complaints and he'd be informing owner it was brought up again.. meaning they're aware of it. Really hope this place works out but that needs to be handled ASAP! read more

I recently visited Blackstone Restaurant to celebrate my brother's birthday, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. When I made the reservation over the phone, I was clearly told that we could bring a cake and cut it at the restaurant. However, after we had already finished our meal, we were suddenly told that we were not allowed to cut the cake due to "liability" concerns. This was confusing and frustrating, especially since this information completely contradicted what we were told beforehand. We then asked if the restaurant could offer anything to help us celebrate--something simple for a birthday--but we were told no, with the explanation that items can fall off trays. This response felt dismissive and unaccommodating. To make matters worse, there was an actual leak directly above our table during dinner. Water dripped onto my steak, which is completely unacceptable, especially considering our bill was around $1,300. Despite this, there was no meaningful effort to resolve the situation or compensate for the inconvenience. What made the experience even more upsetting was seeing another table being celebrated with a lit candle and ice cream while staff sang "Happy Birthday." This inconsistency made us feel singled out and unfairly treated. Overall, the lack of communication, poor service, and unsanitary conditions made this a very disappointing experience. Our server, German, was outstanding. He was professional yet incredibly friendly, with a deep knowledge of the menu that made ordering a breeze. Congrats to them for being so popular, but when people are forced to wait for an hour by default, it's an automatic turn off and they're losing customers. Anyway, while waiting in line at Scramblers we had time to look at the menu which is a big sign hanging over the counter. When we first walked in, though, the sign was still far away, so I also brought the menu up on my phone. I was glad there was a vegetarian Garden Crepe option and the cashier was accommodating when I asked for even more ingredients to be removed. It was packed inside, so when we were asked we told her we'd prefer to sit outside. Outside, there are small wooden signs with numbers on them and you go to the one you're assigned to. We were sat next to a tree which was appreciated because we got some shade. There's also a table with condiments if you want to grab a bottle of ketchup or anything else you might want. At the time I remembered thinking what a nice day it was to be sitting outside, but later learned the air quality was actually bad that day since there was a fire we didn't know about. Also, summers in general have bad air quality because the heat traps the pollution. Then again, even if we chose to sit inside, the door was open for people to line up, so we couldn't have escaped the bad air either way. Also, Scramblers is on the corner of a busy intersection and I saw one car cutoff another car at the turn and the other driver honk and yell at the other driver, so not exactly the most peaceful place to sit down and eat. Anyway, the food tasted good and I ate everything in one sitting. After being to this plaza a few times now, I've learned that it's best to take whatever parking spot you can get even if it's far from the place you're going to. Scramblers is especially difficult to get to, so it was a bit of a walk to and from our car. I've said it before in other reviews, but I curse whoever planned the layout of this plaza, like what were they thinking? Still, there are enough places for us to want to try out to keep coming back.

The ambiance is definitely unique since it's inside a hair salon. It can be a little noisy with everything going on around you, and the seating is pretty simple and casual, but honestly, it wasn't nearly as loud or distracting as I expected it to be.
