    Benedict Flight
    Randi B.

Blackstone is right down the road from my parents house, they have been multiple times and have enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner here - they said it's one of their favorite places to dine at. I had breakfast with them this weekend and it was an excellent meal! The decor is dark and modern, the seating is super comfy, and the service was fast and friendly. I had the Benedict Flight and it was delicious! I finished the Jalapeno, spinach, & tomato benedict, and only ate half of the other two so I could bring them home to my husband. Chipotle with bacon and ham was yummy, but my favorite was Tomatillo, pork belly, and avocado, SO freaking good! The potatoes on the side were crispy and seasoned to perfection. He reheated it all the next day for breakfast and said it was outstanding. My parents got their apple empanadas, I don't like cooked apples so it wasn't my jam, but they loved them. They also had the Meat Lover's Omelette and Ribeye Sandwich with truffle fries. All I tried were the fries and they were very good. They both loved their meals and I could tell the ribeye sandwich was super tender, my stepmom bit right through it with no issue, she took half home cause it was a very large sandwich. Total after tip was $150, which also included a Bloody Mary, iced tea, and Arnold Palmer. It's pricey, but well worth it for how good it was. I hope we eat here again when I visit them!

Went to this spot yesterday for a double date. This place was absolutely amazing. Atmosphere 10/10 Lets get started with the amazing atmosphere. The decor and ambiance was very soothing and modern. The place was clean and organized. Definitely a great spot for a date. Food 9/10 Me and my girlfriend got the Apple empanadas and the chefs platter. The other party ordered a mole brisket dish and something that had gravy which I don't remember. The Apple empanadas was so good. It was like eating an hot apple pie with cinnamon on top and adding this milky sauce on top which melts in your mouth. So good! I loved the chefs platter which was $70 and it was enough for 2-3 people. The chefs platter contained chicken, steak, juicy plantain, chilaquiles, and homestyle potatoes. This dish was absolutely amazing and everything tasted great. Service 8/10 The service was good. Our waiter was always checking in on us and getting everything we needed in a timely matter. I would just recommend extra smiles haha.

Banana latte was the star of the show. Absolutely delicious. If you like something sweet, the lattes are a good choice. The chicken Cesar wrap, missed the mark. Lettuce was hot and wilted. The dressing was dripping from the tortilla. Was kinda disgusting. I had to open it up and just eat the chicken by itself. This item definitely needs to hit the drawing board again. Yuck! My friend ordered the Eggs Benny flight and that was good. Next time I'll try something different.

Great brunch spot in Corona. Enjoyed the chilaquiles w jalapeño crema (but do they have to charge extra for eggs?? That's always come included), mascarpone French toast with tres leches sauce and the three piece empanada appetizer. The cafe de olla is too sweet and wish they offered fresh milk/cream instead of creamer singles. Giving 3 stars bc of the wait staff. When Our table had a milk spill, it was difficult getting anyone's attention, they did not help with the cleanup on the table or floor and just handed us extra napkins. Would have definitely appreciated the help!

I'm sorry but $5 for an ice tea and $6 for a Coca Cola? Mind you also the biscuits and gravy was one biscuit cut in half for $10. Tomatillo sauce is so strong. The cheese in the enchilada is weird. The potatoes are bland. I'm not a food critic, but I would highly recommend not going here. Positives, the staff was really nice.

    Vanessa T.

The food was great except for the iced arroz con leche latte it was very grainy so I did swap it for a cafe de olla. The coffee was lacking a bit of flavor but it was still better than the grainy iced coffee. The inside was a little darker than I anticipated but it was overall okay. Food was good and service was good this was overall a nice breakfast spot.

Had brunch at Blackstone Kitchen + Bar with two of my friends for an early Mother's Day celebration and it was my first time there. I ordered the chilaquiles and they were amazing! Usually the chips get soggy fast, but theirs stayed perfectly crispy while still soaking up all the flavor. I also tried a bite of the French toast and it was so good -- the flavored cream they use on top was incredible. Everything we had was delicious and the atmosphere was great for brunch. I'll definitely be coming back soon!

Very good breakfast spot. Service was a bit mediocre and lacking but the food itself was great. The inside is very well decorated.

stopped in after a long day down in San Diego because it was on the way home and we're really glad we did! i had the porterhouse & shrimp and hubs had the carne asada & camarones (similar but different to what i had lol). both were pretty solid. the chimichurri sauce that came with both were delicious! we didn't anticipate it being the kind of place that sends a photographer around or celebrates birthdays with a group singalong. we didn't hate it, it just caught us off guard haha the other guests seem to really enjoy themselves. staff were very attentive, even though we were one of the last sittings of the night. we felt very well taken care of. we'll definitely come back! i hope to sit on the patio next time

    Ambience.

The food was absolutely delicious! As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted since we were the first guests there. We had reservations for 5:15, and our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive. We ordered the 16 oz. ribeye steak, and wow--it practically melted in your mouth! The French fries tasted fresh and homemade, not frozen at all. The mashed potatoes is real potato, not powdery ! love. The horchata is so good, can't go wrong w horchata. I will say it felt a little awkward at first because we were the only ones in the restaurant, so it was very quiet. But as more people arrived, the atmosphere really came to life. The soft, soothing music gave off elegant wedding reception vibes, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I'd definitely come back!

This is probably the best food I've had in Corona!!! Came with my family and had amazing service and an amazing meal. Our server was so kind and gave us some background on their meals along with some recommendations! The inside of the restaurant is very nice. Each plate was beautiful and tasted delicious! I want to come back to try some more food & their brunch!

Came here for a birthday brunch and Blackstone did not disappoint. The restaurant and decor are really cute, warm, moody and stylish. It's very modern and inviting. The food was amazing. The mascarpone French toast lives up to its title it's easily their best menu item to date. The mimosa flights were absolutely delicious and such a fun touch, especially for a celebration! The flavors aren't too intense or sweet; just the right amount of flavor and aroma. They have a large menu from chilaquiles to omelets, a little bit for everyone's taste! Service was attentive and the whole experience felt nice. If you're looking for a birthday brunch spot in Corona, this is the one I highly recommend!

Nice atmosphere on the inside. And the service was pretty good, did take a while for me to get my coffee though. I got the Benedict trip, tasted fresh and flavorful, came with potatoes. They were not crispy more sautéed. Which is fine but I do prefer a crispy homestyle potato. Overall would try again for dinner, looked like they have interesting options.

Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the food. We dined on a Tuesday evening, and the restaurant appeared to be less than 50% full, making the service issues even more surprising. Our server was training a new employee during our visit, which made the overall experience even more concerning. Our courses came out of order, and when we asked about it, the wait staff blamed the kitchen rather than taking ownership of the issue. Regardless of where the breakdown occurred, it made for a disjointed dining experience. The cocktails were poured extremely heavy, which may appeal to some guests but felt unbalanced to us. After our dinner plates were cleared, dessert was brought out without anyone bringing us fresh utensils. After waiting, I ultimately had to get my own utensils so we could enjoy our dessert. The biggest disappointment was that I had noted on my reservation that we were celebrating my wife's birthday and also mentioned it to our server when we arrived, but it was never acknowledged. We weren't expecting anything complimentary--a simple "Happy Birthday" would have made the evening feel more personal and appropriate for the occasion. Seeing these service issues while a new employee was being trained left us wondering what standards are being emphasized for new staff. Based on our experience, it did not reflect the level of hospitality we would expect at a restaurant of this caliber. The kitchen is clearly doing an excellent job, and we'd return for the food. However, for a restaurant that positions itself as one of the premier dining destinations in town, the overall service experience fell well short of expectations. Management should take a close look at its service standards, front-of-house processes, and overall guest experience to ensure they align with the quality of the cuisine and the level of dining the restaurant aims to provide.

I dug into it before I took a pick so it's blended together but it had the most delicious croutons and fire grilled corn. The ingredients were really fresh and the salad was not over dressed. The sliders were also really good, however, my first bite of the Western one was literally all fat and I had to spit it out. It made the rest of the sandwich unappetizing but I did hunt for any other major fat pockets and didn't see any. Both sliders were really good.
