To say that Blackstone Kitchen is better than the previous restaurant in this spot, BACO, is a massive understatement...they have truly redeemed the space. Every time I visit, the kitchen completely delivers. The ribeye and shrimp tacos are an absolute must try. They use a fantastic matcha oil that adds a beautiful sweet contrast to the deep, savory flavors of the tacos. However, my ultimate go-to order is the jalapeño shrimp enchiladas. Honestly, you could pour that jalapeño cream sauce over a piece of shoe leather and I would happily eat it. Everything they serve is incredibly rich, packed with flavor, and you can immediately tell that they are making everything fresh. I've also stopped in for their breakfast and brunch services, and I really appreciate the way their menu has progressed and expanded over time. Beyond the food, the service is consistently great. The staff is always very attentive and makes sure you are well taken care of throughout the meal. They both loved their meals and I could tell the ribeye sandwich was super tender, my stepmom bit right through it with no issue, she took half home cause it was a very large sandwich. She knew the menu so well she basically told my hubby what to eat and drink and he LOVED it. First and foremost, reservations were made for 11:30 am, and they didn't seat us until 11:45 am. I get it, it's busy, but that's the first time that I was seated close to the reservation time.
