We want to support local so we gave it a try. We ordered the pepperoni pizza with black olives. The staff were very upbeat so I was thinking we are going to get a great pizza. Unfortunately the flavor was sub par. I only took 2 bites and threw the rest of the pizza away. I am still trying to figure out what the disconnect is. Sauce? Dough? Toppings? I think I have narrowed it down to the sauce or the dough. There might be some freezer burn but again I am really trying. Save your money and buy a frozen Tombstone pizza, because that's what it tastes like. Crust seems to be pre-made or from frozen. Toppings are bland and piled too high. Perhaps to cover the crust and lack of sauce. And h th website says it's closed when it's open. Expensive for what you get. read more

Update: I'll have to dock a star because the owner can't take constructive criticism and is unwilling to be open minded to improvements. I was really hoping someone in Redmond would take pizza seriously. It only takes an a couple hours to research and figure out what some of the top pizza places in Italy and northeast US are doing to have such amazing pizzas. Just a couple changes would make a huge difference. Unfortunately Blackstone is just going to be another "meh" pizza place in Redmond. As the owner said, they strive for "stars". Door dashed a couple pizzas from here. They smelled wonderful, so I went there the next Saturday. Ordered the Maui chicken pizza. Waited 20+ minutes, but the gal said 15 so what's 5 minutes. Then I proceeded to eat the most bland pizza I have ever had! Chicken had no flavor, much less grilled. Red sauce on the crust?? This was not BBQ chicken pizza. Flavorless bacon no sauce on top and no red onions?? The gal did came out and squirt something she said was BBQ sauce on it, but what ever that watery stuff was it wasn't BBQ sauce. The pizza is amazing. As I was walking up to order, there were several people commenting how great the pizza was. One guy was saying he had pizza in New York and San Francisco and this was as good if not better. I ordered The Works. Mmmmmm, so good. Normally I wouldn't eat an entire pizza in one sitting but it was so good. The crust is perfect, not too thin, not too thick. The olives were perfect and really added flavor you don't typically find on pizza. The staff was super friendly. Best parts it's right next to a TapHouse with a ton a different beers and cider.
