We're traveling to Green Bay and needed a quick lunch near Wisconsin Rapids. We saw Culver's. We'll…read moreknown and good burgers and fries...but my trusted dining companion, Yelp, told me about a little diner, open only until 2:00 p.m. called Misty's Menu, so we headed there for a burger, fries, and soup. My wife ordered homemade beef noodle soup (delicious). My 1/3 lb hand-pattied burger was served on a perfectly toasted potato bun which was bakery fresh! I'm very particular about fries. These were nearly perfect. Crinkle-cut, crispy, and thank heaven's not coated! Coated fries are the lazy diner's way of adding crispness to fries. Simply change your fryer oil frequently and you'll get crisp, delicious fries - like Misty's! My cup of chili contained elbow pasta but lacked salt in my opinion. My table shaker fixed that and I enjoyed the small sample of their homemade chili. Our server, Harmony, was prompt, well trained, friendly and attentive. She displayed a good sense of humor and connected with us. So, no offense to Culver's but our $17.97 meal was fast, fresh, and served with a smile! So its Culver's No, Misty's Yes in my opinion! Give this place a try for breakfast or lunch.

It doesn't look like much from the outside- very 70s feeling building, but inside it's spacious and airy, with plenty of seating. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming, from the seating host to our server to the attentive staff circulating with coffee refills. It was hard to decide what to have. My companion chose a steak skillet and I had the lemon ricotta pancakes. When they arrived, both were very ample portions (we both needed to-go boxes!) and delicious. For me, the best thing was the fresh otange juice, using a machine I've only seen in my favorite Latino cafes in Florida. It was so good, I had to get another to take with me! They were also just fine with us enjoying a leisurely breakfast, since we had a couple of hours to fill before the public muesum opened. We were there on a Tuesday and they were steadily busy, but not packed. No obtrusive music and sound level was quiet enough that we didn't have to yell to hear each other. Prices were decent, given the 2025 economy - you get plenty and parking is easy. Will definitely return if we get back this way!

The staff was friendly and on top of things. It's a smaller spot, so plan to get there early, especially on busy mornings. A fantastic local diner experience.

The stainless steel diner has been well cared for and updated enough to make it more comfortable for staff and customers. There are some tables out front and two different seating areas inside (it's bigger than it looks). All the cooking is done behind the counter, where you can see it all happening. It can be a bit noisy as the metal spatulas hit the grill, but you can still have a reasonable conversation. It's a busy place, and the servers are efficient, with a no nonsense approach to taking your orders. The menu is large, with lots of traditional favorites (no avocado toast here). There were two pages of breakfast items, and it was a tough decision. We ordered a number of different items: corned beef hash, pancakes, and potato pancakes with eggs and sausage. It did not take very long to get our food. Very good portions, everything was plenty hot, and all flavorful. Everyone was happy with their choices. The corned beef hash was not the kind you get from a can. It was large, fresh pieces. The pork sausages were plump and well seasoned. The poached eggs were perfect. My only complaint: I ordered my potato pancakes extra crispy, but they didn't seem "extra" to me (extra extra crispy next time). The regular pancakes were good, but not fluffy enough to be "excellent". A very nice place for breakfast, and somewhere we would return to.
