We returned to Blain's Farm & Fleet Automotive for our 50 miles retorquing following work done on the undercarriage. On a previous visit, their mechanics failed to notice there was a wheel bearing issue, which an outside mechanic had to diagnose. After having to return to Farm & Fleet to have the issue addressed ( the earlier visit costing $5,000 ), we were due a 50 mile retorquing of the lug nuts. Upon arrival, we were subjected to extremely rude and dismissive treatment by the automotive staff. Although it wasn't busy at the time, the staff on hand seemed to go out of their way to find other things to occupy their time. When we inquired again about our service, we were told that they needed to draw up a work order, something never required on earlier appointments. The entire ordeal was unnecessarily frustrating. We ended up going to another mechanic to have the service performed. Although we enjoy shopping at Farm & Fleet, we will no longer subject ourselves to the rudeness and poor customer service of their automotive department, and would suggest that others do the same. P.S - We've waited for two days for a call from the district manager but we have yet to hear a word. read more

I ordered 2 cases of hot wheels exact number I received 144 hot wheels dumped in box all bent up hooks torn replaced with plastic hangers and 6-8 of same car they sent there rejects I'm so pissed and blown away first and last order ever placed then call number for issues and they tell you to send email and someone will reply through email really WTF read more

Not sure when the last time I was in. Now there is a total new floor plan. NOT A FAN! Everything now is so disorganized. The first five minutes of being in the store I was so frustrated I wanted to leave. I finally found a couple things I needed for the farm and thought they were extremely expensive. Looked on the internet and found one thing that was half there price( exact same thing free shipping) I always try to buy local and support local businesses but In these times we live in today I think that I'm going to have to change my ways. Automotive service is the worst. We brought auto in on Sunday, tire pressure valve needed replacement and slow leak repaired. Supposedly they checked all four tires. Less than 12 hours later I'm back because tire pressure light is on. Three hours and I'm still waiting for them to bring car into the shop. The worst. We're done with this place. read more

this store does not answer the phone. no matter what department u select it rings and rings, then gets transferred to customer service where it says mailbox is full and to call back later. this has been going on for many many months. no matter how many times u call and no matter what time of the day nobody answers the phone. who can u have a store where nobody answers the phone. it is clear that they have the phone system set up so they don't have to answer the phone and to discourage people from calling. terrible customer service. read more

2 stars because I had an oil change appointment for 11, checked in and they said 45 minutes. I roam the store for 45 minutes, come back, and my vehicle is not even inside the garage yet; PATHETIC! I left But, 2 Stars because it is a great store with great prices. I can get what I need for the house, dogs, projects, etc. at a fair price. I will be going back for the store, not for their auto service. read more

My boyfriend and I came here to find trailer tires while traveling when we lost two of them. THE STORE IS PET FRIENDLY! This was awesome for us as we travel with our dog. With the heat I hate leaving him in the car. We were able to.find what we needed and the staff was helpful with questions we had regarding where stuff was in the store. read more

I want to say thank you for your mangers for making another store location mistake right. I had placed a online order to be picked up in Sterling, IL. They called me the following day to tell me they promised that item to another person and hadn't taken it out of inventory yet. Personally, to me that sounds like they saved it for an employee or a friend of an employee. Any how this situation wasn't as simple as just placing a new order with a different location as I ordered it on the last day of the sale. I called your store and explained the situation and your manager said just stop in and we will give you the sale price. He would possible hold one for me as we live a hour north and couldn't get down for a couple of days. When I stopped in Wednesday night I spoke with a different manager who honored that price as well. I did not have to go thru the hassle of showing them all my emails for proof (which I was prepared to do) Easy Peasy in and out like that. Now the real hero of this email goes to the poor soul (gentelmen) who had the unluckly fate of having online delivering duty. As he had to help us load in the heaviest of down pours only to have it basically stop raining a few minutes after we left (trust me we were not happy with that either). So tell him we appreciate his hard work and sorry for the soaking and wet clothes for the rest of his shift!!! So thank you to all in Moline. We sit pretty much between Sterling and Moline and for now one if our Clinton location can not help us you will be our first choice. Thank you!!! read more

Untrustworthy I needed a simple alignment on my car. My mechanic doesn't do them. I had just had it in to his shop and had a full inspection done so I knew what issues my vehicle did and did not have. They tried to tell me that I had play in my front end and needed over three hundred dollars worth of work done before they would do the alignment. When I questioned them they got very angry and acted like I had no business questioning their word. Well I have been taken advantage by unscrupulous mechanics in the past and knew to get myself out of there. They made me pay a seventeen dollar "diagnostic fee" before I could have my vehicle back and now I have to make an appointment with my mechanic to have it reinspected to see what they have done to it and I still have to find someone trust worthy to have the alignment done. read more

If you want to wait an eternity, bring your car here. Been waiting two hours almost to have two tires replaced. I've had more work done on my car in half the time at other places. Tire sales desk is very pleasant, but the mechanic is really dragging his feet. read more
