As long as Frank Blake is in business, I highly doubt I will ever use any other carpet cleaner. I mean it. After using Frank for awhile, we used someone who charged slightly less, and learned our lesson! I've never met someone before who is so passionate about carpet cleaning and flooring maintenance! He not only takes care of carpets, but also cleans all kinds of flooring. He's been doing this for decades, and was able to educate us about how to choose flooring for our remodel in the various rooms in our house. Frank is honest, personable, and takes great pride in doing a good job. He uses top quality equipment and products. His prices may not be quite the cheapest, but they are competitive, and if you want the job done right, it's worth it to pay a few dollars more to have someone like Frank. He does the work himself, answers all your questions, is easy to reach to get an appointment, is reliable and punctual, and, takes credit cards. I can't ask more from a carpet (and flooring) cleaner. Blake Carpet Cleaning did a great job at a reasonable price. I really like that Frank will come out to your place and see your home before giving you a quote. He is very easy to talk to and doesn't try to up-sell you. Frank came by on Tuesday and gave me a quote. I called around to a few others who all gave me quotes at about the same rate, but none of them actually came to see my home. Frank then came back on Friday morning to clean the carpets. He arrived on time and got the job done in an hour and half (three bedrooms and a family room). The carpets look great. He doesn't move furniture for his normal price and his machine is rather large, so it won't get into smaller nooks and between furniture, but I am pretty sure that goes for most places. I am also pleased that my house does not smell like a cleaning product commercial now. It is clean, not masked with perfume. My only reason for 4 stars is because it would have been nice for frank to move a few smaller pieces of furniture to be able to get under them (my glider in the nursery, and some lamps). Also, his prices were competitive, but not cheaper than others. He left me with two sets of booties to use while the carpet dries. Edit: changing to three stars. Upon further inspection. Stains were left in my carpet that I was easily able to get out with resolve. There is also a border of not as clean carpet around the rooms. Down my hallway you can see the main track him machine made is lighter than the foot closest to either wall. What a bummer. If you're looking for someone to clean your carpets, look no further. Frank was right on time, cleaned our Persian rug nicely on our driveway (used a leaf blower to clean the debris off the driveway first) and was very professional and polite. There were no attempts to upcharge, and he takes credit/debit, which is very convenient. Our rug is drying on the driveway right now and we will bring it inside in a couple of hours. OK lets just start out with saying that I thought I was going to have to replace my carpet and this was a last shot at saving it. I would highly recommend Blake Carpet Cleaning. We initially used them to clean the carpets in a house we were selling. Their booking process is easy and efficient and they were able to come the following day. We then booked them to come and clean our couch. They did a great job but there were a couple of spots that got missed. I emailed Frank with the photos and he got back to me immediately. He came out and personally hand cleaned the spots and told me to call if I had any further issues. We will definitely be using Blake Carpet Cleaning for all our carpet and upholstery cleaning. Simply pit, I called and explained my floor cleaning needs and after giving my zip code I was ask if we could meet in 20mins, I was amazed and said yes! This ready cool guy showed up and reviewed my rooms, gave me a quote that I was happy with and then ask if he could do the work the next morning which I needed, amazed again! The same cool guy showed up "ON TIME" and went to work. He completed the work quickly and with little to no mess left behind. Sometimes fast means sloppy, but not from what I see after my carpet was done and the carpet area done smells so good too! Frank came out to clean my Persian rugs. He did a fabulous job and saved me hundreds of dollars by doing them at my home. My wood floors were full of black glue when I pulled up the rugs before the cleaning. I tried scraping, lightly sanding, using chemicals but nothing worked. He told me he'd take care of it. After working for a couple of hours, my floors looked like they'd been refinished. They were spotless!! Again he saved me a ton of money. We had a serious carpet situation in every room of the house due to an elderly kitty. We tried the DIY home treatments, but with the humidity this week the urine odor came out and hit us like a brick wall, we needed professional help fast! Called Blake's Carpet Cleaning on Wednesday morning and received a callback from Frank shortly after. I explained the situation and he offered to swing by to assess and provide a quote on his way to another appointment a short time later. Frank arrived at the time he said he would, was friendly and professional and incredibly knowledgeable about the issue we were facing...old pet stains and a lot of them! He spent quite a bit of time going through each room, assessing the damage and discussing recommend solutions. He even went ahead and pre-treated/deodorized the worst area of damage right there on the spot!! Received his final quote later that afternoon via email (I had added on a few upholstery cleaning items last minute, otherwise I already had his estimate for the damage), he followed up with a phone call and he was able to schedule the job the very next morning! Showed up right on time and went to work restoring our 1 year old carpet back to new, and cleaning our 5 year old cream colored couches and rug back to new as well! The smell was gone, and although the cleaning solutions he used smelled wonderful (and are totally green BTW, no harsh chemicals!), I could tell that it wasn't just a cover-up job and that he'd eradicated the cat urine! Over 24 hours later, the house still smells wonderful and urine free. I was looking for a good carpet cleaner and relied on yelp to find one. Good thing I did, I found a GREAT one! I'll tell you why I was so impressed. I've got Berber carpet (very difficult to clean) in beige color. Frank set up an appointment right away, drove down to Chula Vista and spent a good pair of hours cleaning it. He worked very diligently and even showed me all the dirt he was able to extract from the carpet. He explained the type of cleaning products he uses which are environmentally safe and safe for pets and children which is important to me. Franks was very generous with his time, I didn't feel like he was rushing to move onto his next job and he really worked up a sweat on my carpets. Frank came out to clean the upstairs carpet that our rescue dogs had pretty much destroyed. We had tried to clean ourselves and even bought a carpet cleaner but never seemed to get it out and the odor lingered, which was embarrassing and prevented us from having guests over. Frank was very nice and easy to talk to, I did not feel that his prices were unfair but he was not the cheapest either. I can tell you that the price was worth it though, as after the carpet dried it COMPLETELY removed all traces of odor. During the drying process I called Frank to tell him that I still smelled odors, and he happily came out to make sure that everything was up to my expectations and made me feel like he really cared about my satisfaction. Fast forward a year..........and some more "accidents" and I am calling Frank again. HOWEVER, despite the accidents that have occurred since he last cleaned, there still is NO ODOR, just visible spots and normal wear and tear.
