I made an appt online for a new client cut that came with a complementary hair mask. My appt was with Jade. She was fantastic! The place was clean and modern and the vibe was relaxed. I haven't been to a real hair salon in probably 10-15 years. Went to Great clips about 5 years ago for my last hair cut but I wanted to splurge and get a little pampering! Most things are charged by the hour and each stylist has a different rate based on their "level" I came with a pic of what I wanted and Jade delivered. Almost identical. And if my face was as thin and flawless as the AI version I brought in it would have been exactly the same lol. She also has these wonderfully long nails that feel amazing when she's washing your hair! She was conversational without being nosy or over talkative. As a mother of a special needs kiddo it was a much needed reprieve and she gave me the pampering I needed! Will definitely be back if I'm still in Roseville the next time I need a hair cut.

Kenneth messaged me quickly and was very up front about what he could offer and for what price. Rooted is in the Folsom hills and right in the downtown area along Lake Natoma and the American River. Every time I venture out Folsom way there is something new to see, but this little area still has the same "feel" as when I was a kid - Cute, Quaint, Small-Town. Since they have only been in this location a few months they don't have signage up yet but you can't miss it, it's a darling little cottage with a red stone brick path leading to inviting walk up and entry. I felt comfortable right away. Kenneth was up front ringing out another client but made sure to greet me as soon as I entered, which says a lot in my book. He showed me to his room, which was super cozy; the salon chair was comfy; LOVED the wash station, Kenneth was awesome; very personable, we chatted it up while he washed, did a deep conditioning treatment, (can I get that hair drier to go pls?) lol, Brazilian blow out and some touch up with the flat iron so I could get home to flat iron the rest (I do that myself). Even without the flat iron it looked fantastic! My hair felt super clean and well hydrated, not dried out at ALL. When I got home to finish the flat iron it was nice n soft n felt fabulous. Loved it! Thanks so much Kenneth! I look forward to my next visit!

I love my new hair - cannot recommend her enough. I also thoroughly enjoyed the shampoo as she gives you a wonderful neck/head massage as part of the process. The salon itself is very nice and chic design wise. They know trend and are on point all around. The front desk is the only area that felt a little awkward to me in that it wasn't unfriendly but not as welcoming as I would have expected for such a nice salon. I believe that they are restaffing though so this is not a big deal but just something to note for the owner. They communicate well and have a great scheduling as well as tip system. All in all, I would recommend this salon.

Well, well well. What can I say? First off I want to start by saying that Lisa Harris has been my first facialist and aesthetician. I always thought that seeing somebody for a facial was a waste of money and that they were probably no results. Let me tell you I can't go back to that thinking. Lisa has changed my routine and my focus on my skin. She has also changed my skin. She is my foundation. She is my rock. She has made coming out and getting a facial a mandatory therapy event. I absolutely love Lisa and her facials. You can really tell that this is her passion. She cares about the people who come in and you become friends!!! I have my appointments with her booked throughout the year now and I love it. I can't wait to see her every time I know, the appointment is coming up. I also get reminders the day prior, and the day of. She is so sweet and punctual and a damn rockstar! I wouldn't choose to go anywhere else, and I think anybody who chooses to see Lisa for Facial will feel the same way. My face has changed dramatically since seeing Lisa. I think she is also the funniest person I have met so if you are wanting to relax, this is the place to go and if you're looking for a good time, this is also where you should be! Blake Charles Salon and Spa is clearly the up and coming Salon in the Granite Bay Roseville Area. I have been living Rocklin area for the past 20 years and have had my haircut at numerous salons but Blake Charles Salon and Spa clearly stands out on top for their service, location, and amenities. Vika Gerrald has been cutting my hair for at least 15 of the 20 years I've lived in the area and I would highly recommend her for her absolute attention to detail, personality, and professionalism. I have gone to Lisa Harris for facials for years. Every appointment is professional, comfortable and I leave happy. When my kids got a little older, both of them started seeing her as well. Lisa is a magician for them. She is so easy to talk too. And in a situation for my teens that could be uncomfortable for them, Lisa puts them at ease. Their skin has gotten incredible. And their confidence has increased because They feel better about themselves. Do yourself a favor-get an appointment with her. Or give a gift certificate to someone you like/love. I don't write too many reviews, yet I just had to share my experience at The Blake Charles Salon in Granite Bay. The staff greets me warmly every time and offers me a warm beverage. I've been especially impressed with Vika Gerrald who cuts and styles my hair. Her warmth and kindness of personality, combined with expert skill, is what will keep me coming back! She also cares about the condition of my hair and uses only the finest products that leave my hair youthful and healthy. I orginally wrote a negative review but I am happy to say that the issue has been resolved! The owner of the salon contacted me very quickly and got me in contact with a new stylist, Vika, and she corrected the cut. It turned out perfectly! The owner was apologetic and kind and Vika is so talented and fun to be around. I may have not had the best first impression but I think it goes a long way that the owner took time out of his day to work on correcting the issue. I will definlty be coming back to Vika in the future! read more

I have been to Blake Charles Salon and Spa twice now for hair color and cuts with Vika Gerrald, and the salon is wonderful! Vika has been doing my hair for many years, and I can't say enough about how skilled she is at color and hair cutting. I am constantly asked about who does my hair. On top of everything else, Vika is a lovely person and I always enjoy my time with her. This salon is a very nice edition to The Ponds shopping center in Granite Bay! read more
