Closed for the last couple of years and newly opened. The staff was great and the food was above average for a bar menu. The place looks like it was mainly just painted for upgrades from pre renovation. A good dive vibe. Didn't appreciate the credit card fees and nickel and dime menu. However, enjoyed checking out this place. Only 2 refills for soft drinks and bottled tea - big negatives.

Before the pandemic my husband and I used to meet up with friends regularly at the Blarney Stone as it was a convenient location. Add to that the good food, cold drinks and friendly service which definitely had us coming back. When they closed during the pandemic and didn't open again we were definitely disappointed. Once we knew they were going to open again we started going back there almost immediately. My husband had a birthday this past weekend with about 20 people and imagine our surprise to walk in a find our area fully decorated. Balloons, tablecloths, napkins the works! I appreciate the effort they put into going the extra mile to make this celebration extra special. If you're thinking of having an event definitely consider coming here. Everyone had a great time!

Pre pandemic this was one of my favorite spots to go! My husband and I loved it so much we bought a house on the same street. Fast forward to now. I've been putting off writing this review for awhile. We went back in the first week they reopened (about a year ago) and were very disappointed. We've been back a few times since then and still it's just not the same as before. The food is mediocre and for the prices, it's just frankly not worth it. You can go up the street and get a way better burger for the same price. The atom Pap here is still nice. We like going for trivia and just having a drink. Unfortunately this is no longer our "go to" place.

Hangover Burger with house potatoes. Solid

Good service super Low key. Good food. Homemade style which is nice considering most spots GFS order.

Been coming here for years. Great atmosphere, good beer selection, great pub food. Amber is the best! Come on in for a local's bar experience!

    Yum dank juice odd side.

The atmosphere and vibes from the restaurant and staff were great! The food and drinks were fantastic: we had items ranging from burgers (the 3am burger is a local favorite and for good reason) & fries to pizza and onion rings and even a surprise birthday dessert they included at the very end. Also want to include the amazing service as well from our waitress Kelly. She went above and beyond to help and make sure our group, which was about 9+ along with two babies, were doing well and everything was made to order. She helped up kick off the memorial weekend on a great note and I know we'll all be coming back very soon!

Tonight I paid attention and all was right in my world. It's jarring when I don't. Still, throw up a yellow piece of tape or something. This is not drunk or wheelchair friendly. I wasn't either yet, so the coast was clear. We sat at the bar and it was vino for bestie- a malbec and a black cherry bourbon cola slushy and agua for me. Mike was our bartender / server and he made sparkling conversation like we were old friends. He just got back from Vegas. He went to Chinatown. Love it! The atmosphere is a light wood, sports bar feel, the tvs were closed captioned, and the menus had QR codes. There was a $30 ancho salmon on the menu. It came with my choice of side. I opted for the Greek salad. She got French onion soup and quinoa salad. Let's talk about my meal and why I'm giving 5 stars despite the whole front step thing. The salmon was perfect. It has a crispy red speckled exterior that was slightly spicy and very savory. Inside it was perfectly cooked and moist. It was just a bit less than an inch thick and pieces flaked off on my fork easily. There was no fishiness and I ate the crisp skin, which I never do usually with salmon. It was divine. It came with a side. The Greek side salad took up half my plate and it was piled high with a truly interesting and thoughtful array of quirky bites. It was weird for sure- but it worked. Picture a Greek salad in your mind. Ok this is not that. It had the usual crunchy lettuce with a light and tangy Greek dressing. There were vibrant and sweet red onions and feta. And then it got wild. There were crunchy pickled beets, roasted tomatoes that tasted like basil, sweet jalapenos, (Yes- you read that right!) crunchy fried garbanzos that tasted like Indian spices... It was the strangest and most deliberately delicious Greek salad I've ever had. I'm not a salad person. At all. This was the star of the show, but that salmon was stiff competition. Together, the meal sang. You have no idea the gratitude that swept over me after having that nursing home salmon at Red Robin for my birthday. I have been vindicated. This is the salmon I was meant to have. This is the salmon I deserve. I can now return to Las Vegas satisfied that Michigan did show up in a big way for me today. Thanks Vincetta Garage and Mike! Five stars! Fix your step.

It's an easy place to settle in, whether you're grabbing a drink, meeting friends, or easing into a weekend. I love that they have brunch now, and it's legit. The Dubai pancakes are a must--flavorful, indulgent, and straight-up beautiful. They also know how to properly scramble an egg, which sounds basic until you realize how many places mess that up. We eat with our eyes first, and the food here always looks as good as it tastes. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, which makes a big difference. Great drinks, great food, great vibes. Definitely a go-to spot in Royal Oak--and one I'm always happy to highlight as @DonnyLB on IG/TikTok. Check me out and check this place out.

Additional seasoning could take the dish to something more than just nice presentation.
