The pizza is good and staff is great but I cant stand the portions. Every time I get a sub I am extremely disappointed at how little of whatever the meat is, is on there. Last time I ordered a large chicken finger sub it came with literally 2 chicken fingers on the entire sub. Today I ordered a turkey bacon club, there were 4 pieces of bacon on the entire sub for $16 a sub you'd think they'd be able to add more meat and less fillings. If you're trapped in a fiery pizza oven, you're in Blas-hell. Hopefully that won't happen to you at Blas-dell. But if you're going to go, there are worse ways to go than eating Blasdell Pizza. There are also better ways to go. (Like eating Imperial Pizza) (ohhhh I went there) (literally) (like, way more often than I went to Blasdell) (oops ok I'll stop). You'll have a Blasd when you come here. They sometimes do dynamiting in the back yard, so stay out of the Blasd radius. But the pizza here is otherworldly, so step onto the gooey pepperoni rocket ship, and Blasd off. If all the slices in WNY were in a slice deathmatch, this one might be the Blasd one standing. It'd definitely be top 10, sort of like Sepp Blasd-er is in the top 10 worst things to happen to football (real football). So you know Imperial is amazing, right? And it's not far - just minutes from this location and seconds from the other Blasdell location I go to, on Seneca. So the best way to describe Blasdell: Basically exactly like Imperial with rich sauce and carpet bread and just really good on the whole. Yum it down and thank me later, after your pizzacoma. The main difference between this place and Imperial Pizza is service. I don't care about service much, to be honest, but even though Imperial have inconsistent friendly/hostile service at the desk, the Blasdell service at the other location is consistently bad. At this location, though, it's much better, so I try to swing by this one when I can. And it's very close to Apollo - the best Chicken Souvlaki probably in North America. Prices are comparable, and while Pizza is probably a little better and hotter and fresher at Imperial, the slices are tasty and perfect at both places. Like gorgeous sisters that it's impossible to choose between (or brothers, if that's your thing) (what do you mean you have no idea what I'm talking about) (yes that happens a lot to me). Thick and spongy dough with delicious rich tomato sauce and thick mozzarella cheese, with the typical Buffalonian upturned grease pool pepperoni slices on top. Blasdell does have the edge in terms of variety of slices. Imperial usually sticks to cheese and pepperoni whereas Blaisdell often has a display counter with several different types. But overall I would always send someone to Imperial over Blasdell even though Blasdell is one of the best. More chance it'll be fresh and hot. More chance they'll be served with respect. Just like Aretha was when she went there. Hence the song. Now I've had a Blasd sharing this with you, but I need to move on to the next review and Dell you about a different place. So I stopped by here on Monday April 29th. At 840 pm. The advertisement on the sign stated small cheese 1 item pizza 12.99. I originally just wanted 3 slices of cheese pizza but they didn't have any ready. Told the clerk then give me the small with just cheese. He stated they weren't making hot items anymore that night. 2 slice lunch special! Huge board on the wall for the menu. Slices are fresh and come out fast. I ordered at lunchtime, the cheese and pepperoni was coming out of the oven while I was ordering. Manager was working the front counter, and was a machine helping the customers so quickly. People stop they are their lunch break or tons of pick up orders. As soon as one person would love, another would come in. The place is large enough to eat inside and everyone other booth marked off for social distancing. Unfortunately I chose a Papa Harry's from Blasdell Pizza on South Park Avenue in Blasdell as my 1st choice for my birthday dinner because I always loved this pizza! Instead when I received my pizza it was burnt on the crust, the steak was black and the pizza was dried out from being over cooked leaving it with no flavor. I contacted the pizzeria immediately and nicely tried to request a new one. Instead the girl told me I was lying and that both she and her manager personally saw and made the pizza, at that point they were unwilling to remake my pizza and I let them know I would be filing a negative review... the girl in turn told me to go right ahead and hung up the phone on me. This was yesterday evening. Since then I have called the location spoke with a wonderful day manager which has been so far the only respectable person I have spoken with and have requested the owner to call me back which at this point I have still not heard from. I am very disgusted with the lack of customer service and satisfaction from their staff I received and do not appreciate being accused of lying. You cannot fix stupid!! Ordered at Blasdell Pizza Seneca Street by Cas Park. My order was a small pizza, cheese , mushrooms, oil, tomatoes. No Pepper , herbs or spices, I am Allergic/ Intolerant . I get this great pizza, take a few bites and get a rush of allergic reaction! Fold the cheese back, and totally spiced! So I call, the girl says they did not add any spices, the oil comes seasoned and they cannot make a pizza without oil. I asked why would you say you cannot have the oil? Really disappointed. Not quite sure who is to blame. My daughter and I ordered via DoorDash. One large pizza, cheese and pepperoni, one whole and one half sub. I would definitely say that Blasdell pizza is alright. It's definitely not bad but not the best also. There really isn't another pizza place close by except Bella which I like more but that's a personal preference sort of thing. The prices of everything in the world are crazy expensive right now so that's fare. I don't want to beat it up too much because the staff is really good. Friendly, quick service, clean. I love Blasdell Pizza. They always have a nice selection of slice pies up. Good chance they will have orders of 5 wings ready to go as well. The steak pizza is my favorite behind the standard cheese and pepperoni. Good Buffalo style dough that is always consistent. I usually go to the South Park and Southwestern locations because I live right in between both. The barbecue wings are good. The hot wings are crispy and usually well coated with wing sauce. The subs are always really good. I am a hot sub person so I have had the chicken finger sub, steak hoagie, BLT sub and several others. I have eaten many beef tacos hot from here, never disappointed. My children like the French fries they are shoe string style and come with a side of ketchup. Blasdell Pizza is a good restaurant to visit to take out or sit down. They always seem to have plenty of staff at the counter and working the kitchens. They run pizza and sub specials which I usually read off the sign when I drive by. I've always had OK experiences the times I've eaten Blasdell Pizza. However, this past Friday evening, some friends and I ordered a large cheese and pepperoni pizza, and a double order of wings - hot, and everything was disappointing. This was a 10:45 PM delivery order, they close at midnight, this isn't an uncommon occurrence to order at this time. We were told on the phone that it would take an hour, but it showed up 20 minutes after ordering. We were very surprised seeing someone pull up that soon, but, we weren't going to complain about fast service. Then, we opened the boxes... The pizza was extremely undercooked, the dough was sticking to the bottom of the box, the cheese literally fell off, and the pepperoni were just little disks of grease. The wings were very over cooked, weren't "hot" whatsoever, and the bleu cheese tubs had a SLIGHT bit of bleu cheese in them. We had to heat the pizza in the oven for almost 30 minutes, wings had to be eaten with a fork because they were so crunchy and hard. I don't know if it was just an off night, or if we were the last order and employees just wanted to get out ASAP. But, if the food quality is going to suffer after a certain time, close earlier. read more

The dining area is spacious, and has 2 large seating areas, which has tables and booths and TVs. They also have a self serve pop machine to help yourself with your soft drink of choice. Came here on a recommendation from a local I met on the flight here. Had previously tried Duffs famous wings and I hated it, feel free to read about them in one of my other reviews. We ordered a simple order of BBQ wings and terriyaki wings. The wings in general were decent and better than most places. It is still somewhat dry for me. I am a firm believer than wings should stand alone without the sauce and these passed for good but not great. The terriyaki wings were drenched in sauce. Way too much for me especially considering how their sauce has a large sugar base and it was more like eating sugar. Wings themselves were a bit drier than their BBQ counterparts. I have had much better wings at university cafeteria. At this point I would give them 3 stars. Their blue cheese sauce is their saving grace. Best blue cheese I had. I don't remember ever having a better one. Words can't describe it. It went so well with their wings that it made up for a lot of the downsides of what they were lacking. I would come here again. Blasdell pizza loves the excuse "the driver did not grab it so you need to contact Uber eats," and this is exactly was Jamie said. She didn't tell me directly but she was in the back telling a guy to tell me. I told him that although that was a nice try that there were 3 items in there but they weren't the right items.
