Only 4 starts because Nino's goes through phases. Sometimes they're on point for months and then suddenly, everything is just "meh" for awhile so we take a break. But when they're good, they're really good. Like one of the best Buffalo-style pizza joints around good. Also LOVE their blue cheese. I will say, for the longest time, the foil they were using would stick to the chicken fingers and tiny bits would peel off, making the fingers inedible, bit somehow not the wings? We haven't ordered their fingers in a couple years because of this so I can't say if this is still an issue. But for years we would occasionally order forgetting about the foil problem and then regretting it every time. read more

Ninos is definitely one of the best pizza places in the Southtowns! Every time I'm at my in laws we tend to get pizza from here and they never disappoint! I love a traditional cheese and pepperoni pizza, but I do also love ninos peppers and onions pizza! It has a ton of flavor and is a nice vegetarian option! The service is always fast and the pizza and super warm like it just came out of the oven even by the time we get it back home! Ordered lg pizza and 30 wings yesterday and they told us 40 minutes. As soon as we ordered we got in the car to go pick it up (I would rather wait and get hot food than have it sitting on the "warming" shelves. When I got there and paid they were already bringing the wings out. I asked about the pizza and after the girl checked she told me 8-9 minutes. 20 mins later my wings are still sitting on the shelf and no pizza in front of me. When I mentioned this to the girls she had them put more sauce on them. That didn't make them hot again!!!!! I will NEVER order from there again. How do you not coordinate someone's order. Crust was excellent. The crust edges were a little crispy but not burnt. The rest of the dough was tasty and chewy. Just enough cheese and pepperoni. Not greasy at all for having pepperoni. Ordered two subs for pickup in the early evening. Waited a short period of time beyond the pick up time, they were moderately busy. One sub was ordered as a stinger and was labeled as such upon pickup. When I unwrapped the sub I realized they had not put in the chicken fingers. The steak portion was still tasty, I just ate the sub and did not contact the establishment. Within the last six months we had another issue with barbecue wings which were burned beyond being edible. I ordered 2 large pizzas from this place for the first time time. Friendly on the phone, lots of good manners. Unfortunately my order was not put in as I showed up.. BUT! The way it was handled was phenomenal! The young man at the counter not only was respectful but polite and did everything in his power to make my order right. Hands down the best Pizza in WNY. Delicious thick crust, just the right amount of sauce and covered in lots of cheese!! If Jay eats one too many of these slices (and he probably did), it's Leno's. And if it was located in Manila, it'd be Philippino's. Pretty spectacular pizza place in South Buffalo but there is just so much incredible competition when it comes to pizzerias in Buffalo that it's hard to imagine a pizzeria around here not being good, and if one wasn't good then it probably wouldn't really make the grade, because there are just so many amazing options such as Imperial Pizza and Bella Pizza and those are just within a mile of this place. If they gave away free pizza, they'd be Fee? No's. If they had no restroom, they'd be Pee? No's. But they have one, so that's good. And if they were in Northern Nevada, they'd be Reno's. And they'd have the biggest little slices in the world. I love the slices here - they're generous and tasty and warm and juicy and pretty much perfect. It's not one of my top 20 in the city but then there's a ton of competition. I definitely like it enough to come back, and I already have once since I took these pix. Buffalo pizza is thick and carpety, tomatoey and cheesy, hot and gooey, with pepperonis upturned holding pools of grease. Some hate it, but like Detroit pizza, it's otherworldly, and as yummy as it is unhealthy. Come and try some when you are in town. It makes Beef On Weck taste like a Week Of Work. And if their Pizza contained cancer drugs, they'd be Chemo's. Although if you eat too much pizza too often it definitely increases your risk of needing Chemo's. read more

Nino's has never been my favorite pizza spot. With everything going on, I am trying so hard to support local so, I decided to try them again. $1.75 for banana peppers on my sub, there were maybe six or seven crushed up pieces. $19 for a pizza that was burned to s!$t on the bottom. The wings were never fantastic but $22 for some pigeon wings.. I understand the current circumstances- but increasing the costs for less than sub par food is what puts a business under. I hope they can do better, they're not bad but these costs are insane. :) read more

Been living in west Seneca for 25 years and used to love Ninos Pizza. Now they over priced themselves out of this customer. I ordered two Subs. A sausage and greens with hot peppers and a steak and cheese with hot peppers. Two orders of curly fries and two small drinks. This cost me $48! Food came to the table and the girl said waiting on fries. I said no problem. We finished our two subs and no fries showed up. We took the bill up to the register and told him we never got our fries. Granted the subs come with fries we never got those either we wanted our money back and it took three people to get our money back for the fries. Never again will I go back to Nino's it's not the same as it used to be. Food was subpar service was horrible and for $50 I'll go to a nice restaurant. read more

Just paid $15.21 for 1/2 of a Royal sub. The roll on top was black, burned to a crisp, and the bottom of the roll was soaking wet, like it had literally been dunked in water. However, Nino's does not pile on the cheese excessively as so many places tend to do. The ratio of cheeses to crust is about, so this pizza does not overwhelm you with the cheese. So I recommend giving this place a try. And the pizza tasted very good also. read more

Good joint for some pizza and wings. The pepperoni pizza and sausage pizza are quite good, though I feel they could be more generous with the pepperoni and sausage. I picked up food from here for my coworkers and I at noon yesterday. (A coworker wanted to treat us for the holiday.) They have their own parking lot. I think you can sit in here but it's currently takeout only because of the COVID-19 pandemic. There is signage about the pandemic and they prefer it if you enter if the front door and exit through the side door. It wasn't very busy. I ordered half of a meatball sub and an order of garlic bread with mozzarella cheese. Both items were great. My coworkers enjoyed their food too. I've gotten takeout from here probably four other times over the years. The breadsticks are great. You get an order of those, if you order a salad. Sometimes the lettuce in the salad is a bit wilted. Their prices are a bit high. I haven't had their pizza in a long time so I can't recall whether I liked that or not but mostly everything I've had has been good. The staff is really nice here. I'll continue to come here occasionally. read more
