One of the best DIY pizza shops around, you can order online or in person, but definitely check online as they have tons of promotions that can save you on cost. This specific location does get pretty packed and they seem to be understaffed, usually only see 3-4 employees only which is not enough. Parking is free in a large parking lot that gets congested easily. Making your own pizza here is the best, there's preset pizzas if you cannot decide as well. Every visit I always go for making your own pizza. There's endless possibilities to the point where you just want to put everything onto your pizza. Overall, great spot for pizza, although it's a bit dirty. Not really any tables being cleaned, more like customers themselves cleaning the tables. Restrooms are dirty and not maintained at all as well. Only saving grace is that the pizza is great and customizable. More of a grab and go place than a sit down and eat spot even though there's plenty of tables.

Pizza was good! Why 1-star? I observed salad was super wilted and blueberries were actually moldy! Staff was friendly as usual tho.

Cashier/ cook Gorlock that wears glasses had the nerve to talk shit about my pizza yesterday just because I added garlic on my BQQ pizza. It's not my fault I'm trying something new. Low vibrational energy!!! She's not the only one, even the dude had something to say. Like any louder I can hear yall both. I just played it off like I dint hear them but i sure did. That place need guidance, in general because you don't go out of your way to disrespect your customers that pay your bills lol Real talk.

Love the concept of BYO pizza! Always great coming here and ordering a pizza just the way I like, loaded with toppings and extra jalapeños! With the heat and salty pizza a beer is always tempting, unfortunately the last couple times that I've came their draft beer pours are out of sevice. I appreciate that they have bottled beers and some nice lemonade besides the regular fountain drinks. Always friendly staff and noticed attempts at keeping the place clean, especially during the busy hours. Plenty of parking is available, tho sometime not near the entrance.

Blaze Pizza is hands down my favorite pizza it honestly makes me so happy every time I go! I always get the Build Your Own and load it up with almost all the veggies, plus chicken, mozzarella cheese, Kalamata olives, and jalapeño peppers. The combo is absolutely delicious every time. One of my favorite moments was when I received a Mother's Day gift card from Blaze I was so happy, lol! The service is always good and it doesn't take long to get your pizza. Even if there's a bit of a wait, I honestly don't mind. It's totally worth it! Highly recommend if you love customizing your pizza just the way you like it.

Lunch Special (build your own and come with a drink!)

[ Food ] I ordered the lunch special and it was great, it's just enough for people who don't want a whole pizza to themselves. I was surprised you can build-your-own half pizza, I thought it was going to have a one-topping limit for the price. They also have 2 new sauce you can drizzle on top of your pizza when you pick it up, chili oil or hot honey, so that's nice! [ Service ] Customer service was good, the lady was nice. [ Parking ] Their parking lot can get packed, especially at lunch time since they also share it with Burlington, The Habit, Wing Stop, and others.

Had not been here in over a year. My god, it is awful now. Probably why no one was in there at about 1pm on a Monday. Ordered a large pizza take out. It was so oily and greasy that despite the wax paper the cardboard box was soaked. I sopped up grease with paper towels. Sure sign of very cheap cheese. I order no meats for toppings btw, imagine if there was also pepperoni or something. I tried a few pieces, hands literally so oily I had to wash them to use my phone's touch screen. I told my wife, saying it was probably going to end up dog food. She tried a bite and, I kid you not, told me not to give it to the dogs as they would get sick it is so greasy. Ended up eating a few pieces. No tomato sauce, dry awful crust, threw the rest away after cutting off the crusts, I think the dogs can have that. Honestly, and truthfully, not fit for dogs. Do not by this trash for your children, please.

On this visit we tried the new Spicy Hot Chicken Pickle pizza which has no red sauce and has white sauce base, shredded mozzarella, chicken, basil, a generous portion of pickles, and a hot and spicy chili oil topping. It was good and different but I love red sauce so the next time around I will stick with my favorites. The pizza oven guys are nice and quick at bringing out the pizzas.

Jackie and Fabian made it welcoming. I never have tried blaze experience in the best but when I do it's in Alhambra location. I'd take 4 pies way back when mozzarella, spinach, bbq and a sweet pie. More than just average it's the experience we call I Blaze pizza. Fabian for allowing the experience. Jackie allowing the experience and giving me the privilege of a free meal. I owe you guys!

Parking: They are located within a large plaza so parking is easy to find. Ordered: 5/5 We got the Build Your Own and it was super delicious! My favorite part is that the pizza wasn't soggy even with the amount of toppings we had on it. Also their roasted garlic is a MUST. I've never had roasted garlic that tasted this amazing on a pizza before. Service/Interior: Service was great. The staff are very friendly and was very generous with their toppings! We were splitting the pizza among 2 people and asked for the sauces on the side and the staff was kind enough to put it in sauce cups for us. The interior has plenty of seating and is clean and nicely designed. Conclusion: Would definitely recommend coming back. This was my first time at Blaze Pizza and I've become a raving fan!

You order at the counter and sit outside. Limited counter seating inside. The best part is they offer slices, so you can try many of their NY style thin crusts. Check the case for what's available as a slice. Tip: They also have square pies a la Detroit style. Tip: The pizza transports well and is great the next day. They have a decent cookie as well. Try their cheese, vodka, margherita, or pepperoni/sausage if you are feeling meaty. Kid friendly, and has a restroom on site. Definitely worth the pilgrimage. Tip: Combine with a visit to Hot Tongue pizza to make a great pizza crawl.

I had heard many good things about this joint and I finally tried it for myself. To be honest,…read morethis is just an average pizza for me - it sorta reminds me of something you would find at a fair. There's only one size available so that's a problem if it's just you. As you can see, the pizza is huge! Yes, you can buy slices but it makes more financial sense to buy a whole pizza. Next, this is not a "cheesy" pizza. So, if you like all that gooey cheese on your pizza, you're going to be disappointed here. The cheese is so minimal you may ask yourself if there's in fact any cheese on the pizza. The cheesy bread, however, will satisfy your desire for gooey cheese. Highly recommend you pick up a side of the bread. It reheats up nicely too. As pictured, there's inside and outside dining areas. I went when it just opened so there were only a few people dining. Parking here will not be easy. I was told that if you pass the residences, there is ample parking on a vacant lot. This is not the safest neighborhood so if you're a female and you're by yourself, you may not want to park that far and make that walk (especially at night). There is a Dollar Tree across the street with a lot, however, that establishment also tends to draw sketchy characters. So, if easy parking is one of you're requirements, you may want to pass on this place. All in all, this place was more hype and it left me craving that satisfying cheesiness that should be on a pizza. I definitely won't have this place on rotation when I get that pizza craving. No hate, I just love my pizza cheesy. ‍

We ordered a spaghetti and meatballs, and it was delivered without the meatballs. Huh. Got fixed. Meatballs are delicious. Better than Charlie's Trio (where it seemed too heavy on the breadcrumbs, which made the whole meatball soggy and meh, although I prefer the marinara sauce at Charlie's - it's sweeter. Mamma's is more tangy, which my partner prefers. Anyway......saucy tangent aside...). We also got a mushroom/spinach pizza which was delicious, and an appetizer of toasted cheese ravioli. They gave us some free garlic knots to start. Delish. You order at the counter and they give you a number. The tables were moderately clean. The (very nice) staff member who came to our table when we realized there were no meatballs asked us to dig under the noodles to see if the meatballs were...hiding? We earnestly asked him, "Do you see any meatballs?" because, I dunno, maybe they were really tiny meatballs? We collectively concluded that there were no meatballs, so some delicious meatballs was brought to our table posthaste. Solid service. Recently, my son and I have been making pizzas on Friday nights as a bonding experience while my wife is out with friends. We make some, buy one, and compare. My son usually prefers his homemade, but Petrillo's is the exception! He loved the cheesy cheese pizza and the amazing cheese pull. I ordered half cheese and half their specialty pizza, which includes mozzarella, Romano cheese, house tomato sauce, Italian sausage, pepperoni, salami, mushrooms, onions, and green bell peppers. Their small pizza is 12 inches and has 8 slices, which is much larger than other places. Petrillo's Specialty Pizza is stacked with generous toppings and has a doughy but crispy bottom - the best of both worlds. I enjoyed the Specialty pizza, especially the Italian sausage. While I'm not a mushroom fan, I ate them anyway. I'll likely hold off on mushrooms next time. They provide generous amounts of complimentary crushed red pepper packets, paper plates, and napkins. Parmesan cheese packets cost extra, about $0.50 each, if I remember correctly. The staff were friendly and are local residents, which is always great to see in a mom-and-pop business. You can eat in or order from the take-out counter on the right side. It's best to order ahead to avoid a 20-25 minute wait. My only minor complaint was the pizza was a bit sloppy when I took a picture, but I understand they're busy getting orders out. I will definitely be back to Petrillo's for pizza!

We were greeted by the host and waited about 2-3 minutes to be seated. There were around 4 or 5 tables that were already seated and/or eating. Setting: typical western restaurant with booths and tables. Quite dark inside. We were sat at a booth but the seats had a bunch of residual bread crumbs on them. We had to ask a waiter/busboy to clean off the seats for us. Food: This restaurant is known for their pizza so we ordered their signature pizza to share. We also ordered the fried zucchini appetizer and the spaghetti bolognese which came with a side (Minestrone soup) There was complimentary bread and butter for the table - it was soft and fluffy on the inside and had a nice crust. But it came out cold. Would have been better if it was warmed up. Fried zucchini: well breaded, came with ranch. Portion size was ok, not too big but not too little either. But quite expensive at $11 for an appetizer that did not WOW the table. Minestrone Soup: average, quite salty, given it is early in the evening, the soup should not be this salty whereas the end of the day usually means the soup has been reduced and concentrated by warming/simmering. Spaghetti Bolognese: plenty of meat in the sauce and pretty tasty as well; but the biggest flaw was that the spaghetti was way overcooked. Huge negative for an Italian restaurant - the base/pasta of your dishes should be perfect and this was far from Al dente. Petrillo Signature Pizza: loaded with toppings, they did not cheap out with the toppings and pretty tasty as well; however, another big flaw was that the dough was dry and dense - the dough did not rise. The yeast in the dough was either non-existent or was not given enough time to rise and create the fluffy dough and crust texture of a typical pizza. We basically got dense flatbread. As this was the signature pizza, it was quite disappointing. Service: Average, nothing great. The servers came by a couple times only after the food came out. Could have really stopped by a couple more time to check in. Rating: 2 stars Review summary is based on mainly food quality as the quality of the food, attention to detail, and execution all was very subpar. Given the kitchen was not super busy on a Saturday evening, the poor quality leaves much to desire.

We also ordered the pork wings, which were so tender they practically fell off the bone and were served over delicious mashed potatoes. The mushroom ravioli was unique, comforting, and packed with flavor. We also shared the ribeye steak, which was cooked perfectly and was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. What really made the experience special was the service. The owner regularly stopped by to check on our table and make sure everything was good, and everyone working there was friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout the meal. Overall, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was excellent, and every dish tasted like it was made with care and love. This was one of the best Italian meals I've had in a long time, and we'll definitely be back!

So I always pass by this spot but hadn't been here in years, at least not since it changed from…read moreBollini's. We parked in the center right next door, and just a heads up, it's cash only. We were seated right away, and the place already had quite a few people dining inside. The experience started a little off for me when ordering. I asked for the spaghetti carbonara with added chicken, and was told no because it already came with bacon. I understood that, but I still wanted to add chicken. I then asked if I could order the penne pasta dish with chicken but substitute a different pasta since I'm not a fan of penne, and again was told no. I've been to plenty of restaurants that don't allow certain substitutions, but simply adding chicken seemed like a reasonable request, especially since I didn't mind paying extra for it. It just felt a little strange being told no to every option. That said, the other staff members were attentive and provided good service throughout the meal. The restaurant itself is casual and had a steady crowd while we were there. I also noticed the entire staff working that night appeared to be male, just an observation. The food itself was really good. The baby greens salad, pasta dish, and chicken portobello were all very flavorful and enjoyable. Overall, I left with mixed feelings because the food was solid, but the ordering experience could have been more accommodating. Still, I would recommend giving this place a try because the food definitely delivers.
