People here are really nice and They're slowly renovating all their locations and have been featured in a bunch of films. But anyways I got their quarter garlic cheese bread, infamous mojos, 2 piece bone in chicken, 2 piece chicken tenders, 2 small pizzas, and small orders of brownies to try. The garlic bread was crusty in the best way, fluffy, garlicy, and had a thick crispy cheese top. The mojos were thin, potatoey, had a crispity crunchity well seasoned batter and pairing it with their classic ranch, MNM. The bone in fried chicken was savory, juicy, and flavorful. The chicken tenders were also really crunchy and yummy. I got one of their original thin crisp crust small pizzas with half of shakey's special toppings which comes with sausage, pepperoni, salami, ground beef, mushrooms, and olives and the other half with their rustic garlic chicken toppings which comes with a creamy Alfredo sauce base, big juicy chicken chunks, more mushrooms, and cilantro. I also customized a small pizza with bright tangy tomato sauce, big juicy chicken chunks, savory bacon and sausage, mushrooms, and pineapple with their thick buttery doughy pan pizza crust. Pure deliciousity. Their brownies were also really yummy, thick, dense, chocolatey, and fudgey just how I like them. This place is a classic and is overall pretty good. Very little food, for a lot of money. They will also charge you for using a credit card. We ordered the $20 special, medium pizza + 6 wings, and it wasn't even enough for two people. The wings are so small, their basically as small as chicken nuggets. Not only were they small but they shorted our order. They also didn't give us napkins or any dressing. I will have to say for a Shakey's this one is the best one I have frequented. For a Saturday night it wasn't too busy. The staff is very friendly and goes above and beyond. The staff is young but yet they have great customer service. Customer service in the younger generation seems to be lacking I've noticed lately. For example, although a small gesture the employee who had prepared my pitcher of beer made sure there was little to no head on it. It took him awhile to fill it up. Just small things like that go a long way for me. The food was really good, pizza, salad bar, mojos etc. Even the tiny arcade they have kept my child entertained and happy. I had not been to Shakeys in a couple of years. Today we went to celebrate a late Mother's Day. Food was good..service was ok. However we felt almost as if we were being "encouraged" to leave. The time was approximately 9:30..few people left..we thought the place probably closed at 10. Whoever was cleaning the tables used a rag that had a very strong bleach odor. There were no other patrons in our area and the rag was just " left" at the booth next to ours. Needless to say we felt it was done purposely. We didn't finish our beers because the bleach smell emanating from the rag was too overwhelming. Got home and searched the website to find out they close at 11 pm. I came in to get a medium PCM roughly around 8 PM. The cashier was very friendly and professional. Also, I ordered a beer, a Pacifico to be exact. The mug or glass and the beer were plenty cold. I made a reservation for a large party, and I called several hours ahead of time to have the food ready. However, the food still came out 30 mins later, past my reservation. The service was great, but the timing of the food was too much of an inconvenience for my large party. This is a busy location. I will need to budget a larger amount of time in the future. And the mojo potatoes aren't like they use to be. Their thinly sliced. Like potatoes chips thin. I was kinda disappointed with the whole meal. But there was a lot of people dining in for lunch. This Shakey's makes the best fried chicken. I always get fried chicken to go from here. The skin is so crispy and the meat is so tender and juicy. Even the breast meat is tender and not dry at all. The chicken is seasoned well and has the perfect level of saltiness. I also always get the one trip to the salad bar to go. It is a great deal for $5.99. I fill the container with lettuce, red onions, tomatoes, olives, beets, croutons and thousand island dressing. This salad is so refreshing and delicious. One order is enough for 4 servings. The staff are always friendly and helpful here. I've only dined in here once a long time ago and service for dine in was good too. Came for lunch today with my husband. Of course we ordered the lunch buffet. Sorry, but this place has such poor quality. Don't waist your money. The pizza was tasteless, the mashed potatoes were watery and you can see the layer of water on top. The gravy was not gravy. It was flavorless soup. When you let it run into your chicken and corn, it left a bad taste. The salad bar had many options of "I'm going bad" products. The onions were slimy, the cottage cheese had a funky flavor and what was the worst. The black olives were stuck together slimy. The manager and employees are always friendly, but are not ordering and or checking the products being given to the customers. It's hard to believe their main office is next door. This is really the only Shakey's I go to, but every time I do, the service is pretty great, it's never crowded, and the food is always good. Shakey's tastes like what the old Pizza Hut used to taste like back in the day. Lol. Special shoutout to Tiana at this location though. On Sunday Apr. 13th we visited this location around 12:30 and I would like to say that it exceeded my expectations by far. The service was excellent. We were well taken care of. The quality of food at shakeys have been consistent over many years. This place is super nostalgic so I decided to bring my baby brother here so he can experience my childhood for a day. The food is every kids dream: pizza, chicken, spaghetti, mojo fries, mashed potatoes, and garlic bread. Me, being in my adult years, geared more towards their salad bar. Super simple but honestly did the job. The dough of the pizza was crispy (my favorite way to have pizza) and the garlic bread was garlicky and crispy as well. The mojo potatoes were a little salty but nothing like a good dip of ketchup can't fix. I debated giving a 2 or 3 star review solely for the fact that the world's biggest roach was chilling on the floor and scurrying past every table. No one seemed bothered so I figured it might be a regular occurrence. Every year I choose to have my sons' birthday parties here because it's so convenient, clean, well staffed and pretty much a quick catered party that I don't need to clean up! How much easier can a party get! The food is always good. I've never had an order that wasn't perfect here. The staff here is super nice and accommodating to my needs as a party host. Came for the bunch of lunch buffet which is from 11-2pm. It was around $14.99. We just walked in, there was no wait. They start you off with a plate and you start off with the freshly baked Pizzas, then move onto the secondaries: grilled chicken (YUM! this was almost always emptied out quickly!), spaghetti + marinara sauce (this didn't look that great - but also didn't want to fill up on this), fried chicken (this was also YUM!), Mojos (MUST GET THESE CRISPY THINGS), and garlic breaksticks (PLEASE SKIP THESE). Oh yeah, there's also a salad bar and some steamed veggies. Get the PAN/Deep Dish/Thicker crusted pizza! We much preferred this to the thin crust. Just so much more satisfying. I think we only made it to 3 rounds and had to call it quits. sooo much carb loading. we came hungry but this was the best we could do. The seating area is a little tight in certain areas but cozy some would say. We had the bunch of lunch deal which was @ $12.99pp + $3.30 if you want unlimited fountain soda. Parking was AMPLE for our party. The staff was able to accommodate our huge party without any issues and was incredibly diligent in taking away empty plates AND making sure the buffet was kept stocked with fresh food! This was my first time at Shakey's and was pleasantly surprised by how good the food is for the price! They had a variety of pizzas options with various toppings. They also had thin crust and thick crust option. I personally really liked the thick crust because the pizza dough tasted like garlic bread YUMMM Highly recommend this Shakey's location!!!
