We went for the first time and ordered the double crust. I love the very fresh ingredients and don't pass up a drizzle of Balsamic Vinegar as the pizza comes out of the oven. Sooo good. Ate lunch here today with some girlfriends. We were all very pleased with our pizzas. All the ingredients were fresh. The dough was amazing. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We dined in and the staff made sure to check on us, without being annoying, throughout our visit to ensure our trash was taken away and we had to-go containers for our leftovers. Terrible online ordering experience! I sent in an order and arrived to ask if my order was ready. The employee looked confused and stated they were working on it as they began MAKING the order. I waited 15 minutes and the employee then asked me what they can substitute mushrooms with because they are out. Nothing was mentioned about having to remake the order because they used the wrong crust.. I continued to wait and ended up being there for more than 30 minutes not including the time when initially Put in my order online. Stumbled on this place out shopping and I have been back every week since. The place is set up like a Chipotle where you have the base pizza styles then you can add other ingredients if you'd like. Hmm...this place was alright. I LOVE MOD and go there often, so I thought I would try this place out. I took my kids and I went all out on my pizza and the kids mostly wanted basic stuff. It was funny because my youngest said she only wanted cheese on her half, but my oldest wanted pepperoni and sausage. I asked the girl "since one half is only cheese, can we do double toppings on the other side?" She looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language and asked another girl. She also looked at me like she had no idea what I meant and asked if I wanted the make your own. Finally a manager walked up and instantly knew what I meant and agreed and it was done. Strange, but oh well, we got it worked out. Now to the pizza, it is decent at best. I felt like the quality of toppings was subpar and just packed flavor. Probably won't try it again, mostly because MOD is so good and consistent. I also spent almost $30 for two small pizzas and the drinks, definitely not worth the money. After much anticipation blaze finally opened. No doubt its a unique concept, much like chipotle create your own pizza. Pick your base, pick your sauce, cheeses to chose from, lots of veg and non veg toppings. Very thin crust pizza. My pizza barely had cheese on it but i understand its new and employees are probably still in learning mode. No worries. My biggest concern is the price. $8 for a ultra thin crust personal size pizza. I have a family of 5 and that will be 40 bucks just for pizzas. I can take my kids to double daves or even cici's right behind blaze for all you can eat which includes unlimited trips to salad bar, pizza bar, sides, desserts etc. even pizza hut, dominos and papa johns have medium pizzas with unlimited toppings for 6.99 with any kind of crust. i might not be the target audience for this concept but once in a while i will myself go and enjoy a thin crust pizza with a beer. I would think this would be a great concept for universities or urban areas, not sure how it would do in these suburban neighborhoods where they look for deals for the families and kids and especially kids are hooked to dominos, and pizza huts etc... Well i still wish them luck but i wont be going there often simply because of the price point. read more

Pizza is for sure tasty but if you want your pizza to actually be what you ordered you need to go to the store and watch pizza being made. I have ordered online for pick up and thru door dash and the orders are never right. I just don't get it! the is sent to the store clear as day and when the pizza arrives it has the order printed correctly. When you open the box the pizza does not match the print out .Why are they not reading?????? Completely frustrating. It's a lot more convenient for us at time to get delivery or order online b/c we have young kids, infant and are constantly on the go. We like the pizza but will in future only order at the store.It just suck when your food arrives and someone can't eat b/c something's on the order that one your kids can't have your left scrambling to make it work. read more

As a mom of all boys....we're a big time pizza loving family. We've had MOD pizza SEVERAL times and when we found out BLAZE PIZZA was open and closer, we knew we needed to give them a try. Atmosphere is great, friendly and helpful staff. Great prices and drink selections. A large variety of toppings (not quite as many as MOD pizza but plenty to choose from) and great taste. The one major difference is the crust. Both places have delicious crust but I think that Blaze has a more dense crust. A definite must try if you haven't been! read more
