Five stars for the food. 1 star for the service. Nobody greeted me. I figured they were just having a bad day. I greeted them, was polite and friendly, but it didn't matter. There were about 10 people working behind the counter. All were talking to one another, laughing loudly. Not one said hello or even tried to make me feel welcome. The person ringing up my order didn't make eye contact, didn't interact at all. I thanked him when he handed me my cup, but no response. I even left a 20% tip to show my gratitude, but when we sat down, I explained to my friend how I was regretting it. When the pizzas were cooked, our names were called. The man didn't even say a word. I then asked about the cookies that I had ordered. He turned his back to me and talked to another man - who had his back turned to the dining room, as well - and moved slowly as he continued talking. He remained with his back turned to me as he handed me the cookies - behind his back...and maintained eye contact with his coworker. I said thank you and no response. As we left, I thought that someone might say goodbye or thank you or SOMETHING - but not a word. I am sorry, but I've worked in sales and customer service, retail. At least acknowledge the customer. And I could understand if I was rude or being difficult or acting like a fool, but I wasn't. So I really don't know why every single person there didn't even try to be a decent host. I would love to come here again - because the pizza was delectable - but I refuse to step foot into a business where I don't even feel welcome. My son was given the wrong pizza when he picked up a to go order. I called but was answered by a corporate call center, they tried to call the store but it went to voicemail so they said I should go back and talk to the manager. I went to the store and explained what happened but they said I needed to bring the incorrect pizza back first then to comp a remade pizza. We were in town, looking to grab a slice. Instead we found a make your own personal pan pizza. I love the concept and they nailed the execution of it. The ingredients are fresh and the flavors are smacking! Some of the toppings are unique to Blaze, but they are seemed fresh and everything I had tasted good. The young man who made my pizza was very generous with the portions of cheese and sauce. The line moves surprising fast as well, even during lunch time. The cook on working the oven was brilliant, kept everything moving and it was entertaining to watch. I enjoyed the pizza and would love to go back soon. Hate leaving bad reviews but disappointed with our trip to blaze tonight. Seemed like there was no manager on duty as employees were fooling around. While i was getting my drink there was one employee that was running from another employee and almost ran in to me. There was only 2 that i would say were working hard. The person at the pizza oven kept hitting the top of my wife's pizza with the peel and the toppings fell off. I had them remake the pizza and it happened again the second time. They have s few different cheeses and toppings as well, stuff Domino's or Pizza Hut doesn't offer. You can order from there menu or do a Build you own where you can take things to new heights! I prefer to build my on and this trip I had a Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, and chorizo pizza. The young lady who made my pie was very generous with the portions of cheese, sauce and toppings. Getting through the line was pretty fast as well, even during lunch time in a Saturday. The cook on the pizza was to my liking as well; they cook in a pizza oven rotating the pizza manually to ensure all sides are cook evenly. This was my 1st blaze experience, and it was not a good one. Came on a Sunday evening. They have gluten free dough and closer than Maddios. Busy as expected. It was apparent there was disarray from the staff. From the 6-7 employees working, none of them appear to be over 22yrs old. Mature leadership was lacking. They would yell at one another and criticize other employees who were falling behind. My wife ordered the BBQ and I got the Green Stripe and 2 doughknots. The doughknots were over cooked as seen in the picture, and the pizzas were thoroughly under cooked which I think messed up my stomach the next day. Honestly we were hungry and waited long enough to the point of not making it a big deal. Our food was not made with attention to quality, it was more so attention to quickness to try to reduce the line of customers. I would like to give Blaze another try, but do not think I will return to this location. If in the area, I will probably just go to Bad Daddy instead. Don't waste your time stopping at this location after walking in at 6:30 and having my order crumbled at 8 because he's only taking mobile orders( mind you half the line has walked out and the manager who was yelling at the poor kids not to take names didn't give out any communication just attitude which is what made me end up doing what I did. The manager is rude. Needs more Customer service training and talks to the elderly people like he has no home training. I even told the young man this that answered the phone. No budge. The app asks "several" questions before setting up an account. All this while driving. I finally get it set up only to discover with the "build-your-own" pizza you cannot create your own on the app!!! HUGE disappointment. I get here to place the order and I have a 15 min wait. Two can easily share a pie or you can get a half pie.The prices are fair in my opinion. The standard crust is really thin. They offer a thicker crust which I found a bit cardboardish. They offer a cauliflower or keto crust for those who want their soul crushed. The employees always look downtrodden. They are not rude or act like they are restraining from hitting you, but if you are looking for sunshine and or puppy tail wags you will not find it here. A customer had some issue with payment and the owner told her not to worry and she could take the pizza. She insisted she wanted to pay but he said she didnt have to wait and could order and take her pizza. I didn't catch all the details but he seemed very generous. I checked the bathroom and it passed the test. The front of the house is clean, the bathroom is clean, you can see the prep area and it is also clean. Come here and eat pizza. Service here was good, with the cashier and pizza 'finisher' providing very good service. The other team members were fair to good-all polite, but had a bit of trouble understanding some of them. My daughter and I got pizzas, and enjoyed them. We both had leftovers. My wife ordered a salad. Between the two Blaze pizza stores that I've been to, I like this one better. Things just seem cleaner, friendlier, faster... simply, better! A good value with a 1-topping coming in at $6.50 and $8 for unlimited toppings. You really can't go wrong here. I see that Blaze has added a "Take Two" option to their menu as well. For $8 you can get a half pizza and either garlic knots or a side salad. Pretty reasonable so that you can get a taste of either one of their sides but I would warn you that the side salad is more like a fist-full of salad, it's really, really small! I would rather just load up a monster pizza than go this route, but to each his/her own. The Agua Frescas are really good as well, since you pay for the cup and the fountains are on your side of the counter, you can try them all if you'd like. I found the Mango too tart, and the Coconut too Sweet, but combine them and they are awesome! Fast & Friendly staff, good reasons to visit this place.
