I am impressed. This pizza chain has been on my radar for some time. Blaze pizza share the same shopping center with Publix on North Decatur rd. Parking can be an issue during lunch time. They have indoor and Padio seating. Food/drinks They are known for the 11inch pizzas with unlimited toppings. The set up is sum what summlar to Chipotle Willy's or Subway. You walk up to the counter and select your toppings and pay. Food will come out in 5mins max. They have a tap for beer but is unavailable at this time Verdict. Blaze is not bad. Service is very great. Food was good. Oh yes very affordable. 9 bucks. They have online ordering. No delivery at this time. I will definitely come back!! read more

Blaze is the best of the (remaining) build to order personal pizza chains. They toss flour on the paddle underneath the dough just like an authentic New York pizza shop, this is what makes a pizza that's not soggy and very crispy. Altho the dough ball is stretched by a mechanical machine, (for speed and consistency) it is stretched in front of you to order, with flour tossed on both sides. Their toppings both veggies and meats have great quality however even their simple pie which is only $6.99 is made with traditional red sauce mozzarella Parmesan and oregano is indeed very reminiscent of a New York pizza. They flash fire bake all the pizzas within just a couple of minutes in a real flame oven. MOD Pizza has a better footprint and brand recognition however Blaze pizza beats mod every day. Mods pizza kind of taste like a frozen processed pizza and the dough palette so to speak comes already stretched and made, likely frozen and thawed. Blaze has all kinds of crust options including a high rise dough, Gluten free, cauliflower, keto and a large which needs to be ordered on the app. The only thing missing is a whole wheat option which I dearly miss from "your pie". As good as this review is "your pie" was actually better than blaze however all of them in town, buckhead, and perimeter have gone out of business, There are several in the burbs in Lawrenceville and Suwanee and Marietta Milton Snellville and Woodstock however I wouldn't say it's a destination restaurant so to speak and not worth the drive. if you can find an uncle Maddios, no known as Maddios, don't waste your time go to blaze. read more

He did not acknowledge what I said or pass it on the manager. I was discreet and said it so none of the other customers would hear it. Today is January 20th 2018. I almost never write reviews, but this place sucked so much that I had to. Here we go, Me and my family decided to try this place for a late lunch. Where to begin? We had never been there and as soon as we entered it appears we did not hear the person behind the counter greet us. So we asked a question and the person said "I just said hello to you" in violent demeanor. Whatever, maybe she was having a bad day. We ordered pizzas and then right while we are eating we hear a loud shouting match with some of the employees. Literally shouting at each while customers tried to eat their meals. I went to see what was going on and one employee was holding another employee back from a potential physical confrontation. Was pizza ok? Sure. But the service and the people there treated us like they are doing us a favor. Everybody seemed angry and lacking courtesy. I will never ever go there again. The wait in line on a Sunday evening was pretty long, which was the worst part of the experience. I opted to build my own pizza and the result was DELICIOUS. It looked and tasted great. Eat at Blaze and I promise you wouldn't want to go back to your ordinary pizza experience again. In fact, it's the pizza experience I never knew I needed. The first thing I appreciate about this place is the the vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff. The spot wasn't extremely busy at the time I went (7:30 pm on Saturday evening), but busy enough to the point where a sincere, genuine and catered experience was not to be expected. But I was wrong. I received all of that. The staff ensured that my mother and I felt as if we were the only ones in the building. And the customization of your own pizza really adds to the experience. All of the fresh pizza ingredients are laid out in front of you as you make your way down to the register, as if you were in a Subway. But 100x better. You tell the staff EXACTLY what you want on your pizza and your wish is their command. I ordered on of their specialty pizzas with all of the meats, but I still got to customize it even further (no onions, add basil and ricotta cheese). The pizza crust is a little more on the thin crust side which was PERFECT. because it wasn't too heavy to leave you feeling slumped after eating a whole 8-10 inch pizza. The pizza arrived extremely fast, they throw it in the open fire oven in a matter of minutes the pizza of your dreams is hot and ready. (No pun intended, Little Caesars). Use extreme caution when "creating your own pizza", you have to really know what flavors mesh well together or know what you really like to eat on pizza, because you can get carried away with trying to add and customize every part of your pizza and end up with a bunch of ingredients pilled high on dough that doesnt even melt together well and now you're just eating a Ruby Tuesday salad on toast (ahem, my mother). How do you Blaze? What I found out about the new and amazing Blaze Pizza located in Decatur was that I can blaze the way that I love and that is vegan Style. Because this wasn't grand opening they were offering one free 11 in pieces to every Patron that showed up that day. I have never heard of this amazing Pizzeria. The atmosphere was filled with energy & great people that were full of life and ready to prepare your pizza as if it was the only thing that they've ever wanted to do their entire life. As I walk in I notice that there's so many options. I decide to go with a build your own pizza. After noticing that they had a vegan cheese my tastebuds began to do a dance in my mouth. The anticipation of what was to come. All the veggies that I could ever imagine. I decide on spinach, fresh basil, roasted red peppers, roasted garlic, mushrooms, and extra extra daiya vegan cheese. My pizza is placed in the Blazing oven that puts off enough Heat to create this masterpiece within 3 minutes. The pizza is extracted from the oven, the edges of the pizza nice and crispy just the way that I love it. I found my way to a table, I sit and indulge in the absolute goodness of every bite of this amazing hot brick oven pizza. If you are a lover like I am of amazing great brick oven pizza, then I would definitely recommend Blaze Pizza in Decatur Georgia. Didn't try the food. This review is based on rude employees. I left and didn't order. Yelp offered a checkin special that they refused to offer. I asked if I could speak with the manager and was told she would speak with me. I waited 15 mins and finally left. We love to get vegan pizza from this location. Their price point for vegan Pizza is about as good as you'll find. We always order online and give them ample time to have it ready for pick up since it seems like this location is always very busy. This was my second time ordering from here. The first time was a month ago. They forgot three of my 7 toppings last time.... This time, we placed three separate orders for pickup at 7,715 , and 730. At 8pm, two of the pizzas were still not ready. One was in the oven. One was just *missing*. After some back and forth, one of the employees said 'i guess someone stole it , because I remember making it.'. That was literally the end of her conversation, like we were just going to go away without the pizza we paid $19 for. No offer to remake it . Asked for manager and was told they were 'too busy.". After protesting some more , an employee finally agreed to make another one. How kind. Oh, to top it off, they forgot the Arugula . This place is terrible at customer service. My first time here.... Customer Service was great! First time ever experiencing a pizza "assembly line". Its pretty cool to actually see the toppings that you can add to your pizza dough. Pizzas are personal size pizzas (six slices). Pizza was ok. And maybe because my crust was literally well done. However; it did satisfy my hunger. The pricing of the beverages are very expensive. (Three bucks for a small regular size) There is a Publix in the plaza if you want to stop there first for your beverage. Overall, cool first time experience. Why does it take a full minute for their person to apply tomato sauce to the premodern crust ? 2. I have seen this place pop up on my Postmates a few times but never tried it until last night. As usual when selecting a restaurant off postmates I'll check google to make sure they have good reviews. To my excitement, blaze had a really high rating on google, so I decided to give them a go. Boy am I glad I did, I ordered a large hot link pizza, a damn was it tasty! Still nice and warm after the long delivery, dough was tasty, toppings were fresh, good flavor with the spicy tomato sauce and the pizza was cooked perfectly. I will say the combination of postmates outrages taxes and fees and delivery charges and blazes slightly high prices made for a really expensive pizza. Whoever gave them stars below 5 is insane. I don't like to cheat on my carb diet but this place is the bomb. $8 for build your own pizza. And when they say build your own, they mean BUILD YOUR OWN. Tonight was the worst experience since the place opened. Unorganized, no teamwork, took 45 minutes to get my pizza while it sat on the cutting station, they served 3 other pizzas that were well after I ordered. It will be a long time before I ever go back. Oh and i had been there almost every 2 weeks since it opened. Get your crew retrained. By the time I got home the pizza was inedible. The cutting station kid had 7 pizzas waiting to cut and he kept stopping to make to go boxes. No one would help him. I even asked, she told me we are also busy, turned and started talking to another crew member. No one was in line to order. Very bad service. A waste of my evening, unreal!!!! I love Blaze Pizza! We had our first Blaze Pizza experience right after the location at Disney Springs opened, after that I was hooked. I don't venture out much with pizzas, and since I'm generally not an adventurous food person, this place catered right into my senses. Having been to the one at Disney and now we have one near our home locale in Decatur around a half dozen times, I always get mostly the same thing, a build it yourself Pizza with regular sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni and if I'm feeling really spunky I'll add sausage and bacon too. My Pizza has always come perfect and I have the flexibility to tell them more or less of something. Their Caesar salad is pretty good too, and the location at Disney has a massive drink selection to choose from including some of the best flavored waters I've ever had. 5 stars all the way from me and we will be back! read more

The only reason I'm giving them two stars is because the pizza is pretty decent for the price point. The service though: HORRIBLE! I always spend a ridiculous amount of time in line because the employees work at a very slow pace due to lack of training. They work slooooow! There is absolutely no synchrony, it seems no one knows what they are supposed to be doing. Dough and toppings run out in the middle of servicing customers. This location needs serious management turn around. Today I received a call after placing an order online. The lady on the phone proceeded to tell me that they had to cut up vegetables to put on my pizza because they didn't have any vegetables cut up yet, and also they were out of pineapple. This happened at 12:00 PM - lunch hour. How is a restaurant not ready to serve food at noon? The customer service at this location is horrendous. Whoever the manager is in charge, they have no experience in management whatsoever. I am so disappointed by this location. read more

Super slow service. This was my 2nd time trying Blaze. I decided to order via the app at 7:31 pm. Order should be ready by 7:45 pm. I only live 3-5 minutes away but I decided to give them an extra few minutes (because they took a while the first time I went to the store). At the time the order should've been ready, I received a phone call from an employee telling me that they didn't have any gluten free crust left for my pizza but that the other pizza was made. I told her it was ok to use traditional crust. I asked when would my order be ready. She said that I could come now because they were putting it in the oven now. I arrive at 7:55 pm. I tell an employee that I have an online order. My order is not ready. I wait. And wait. And wait. I ask an employee to check on my order at 8:10 pm. He asks my name and then checks. My pizzas were sitting there (no idea how long but long enough to be cold). He apologizes and gives me a couple of free pizza coupons. He asks if this completes my order. I said no I have a Caesar salad and a brownie (neither of which were ready). I wait. He comes back to tell me they're out of croutons. I don't need them. So I wait. And wait. He finally comes back with my salad and brownie. And a bag. I finally leave at 8:15 pm after having been there for 20 minutes with an online order that is placed 45 minutes earlier! I get home and eat. They get 2 stars because it's actually tasty food. I try to enter the offer codes in the app and they're both invalid. WTH?!? I won't be going back. Smh. read more

I have no clue what is going on at this location. It used to be very good with lots of choices. The last 2 times I have went in you guys are pretty much out of all the veggies. Tonight it looked like a hurricane went thru the kitchen area. Stuff all over the floor, dough containers stacked up and sloppy. Not very good image for customers when it looks like that. Pretty much the worst service ever. I placed an online order at 6:45 & was given an estimated pickup time of 7:03. I arrived at the restaurant and found it quite busy, and noticed orders were backed up, so I knew there would be a wait. However, after seeing people come in, order, get their food, and leave, I asked about my order. I was told it would be up soon. After waiting about 15 more minutes, I inquired again, only to find out that 2 of my 3 pizzas had just been sitting there. I took those and asked about the 3rd, which wasn't even being made. Someone indicated that they would make it. I waited another 15 minutes and no pizza appeared. I inquired again and someone finally started making it. By now, I had obviously been standing there over 30 minutes without one person asking what I was waiting on or apologizing. I really tried to keep my cool, but it was nearly impossible. I finally got my 3rd pizza. Not a single apology nor offer to try and make up for this. From ordering online to leaving with my last pizza, the whole ordeal took about an hour.
