First time experience, loved it. Went in during lunch rush and that didn't make a difference. They are fast! I love that there are alot of people working instead of seeing one or two or even a few people struggling to keep up. They were all so nice...and diverse which makes me even happier. I've been here quite a few times since they opened. It was really good! Great quality, good price. However, the last 2 visits have been very disappointing. The restaurant was very dirty, the floors looked like they hadn't been swept in a very long time. The restroom was very dirty as well. The staff was rude, there was no iced tea, no Diet Coke, and no napkins. The pizza was good. Service was really slow today. They staff didn't know what goes in to each pie and were really grumpy. Heard two staff talking about how they were out all night. Store was fairly unclean and the open kitchen was dirty. I love the concept but this was a bust. I've been here several times since they've been open and the experience gets worse each time. So I'm just leaving the location in Frandor apparently the location is not listed on here. So my experience was great until the employee who puts the toppings on your pizza SARAH began. She was rushing and every time I asked for a topping she would throw it on the pizza. When I asked for extra she would roll her eyes. It's very interesting to me when you come to a place of business and you're asking someone to do their job, and for whatever reason to THEM it's a challenge. I will say however MIKE who was cutting the pizza and putting the fixings on the pizza at the end was extremely pleasant. With pleasure he asked what else can I do for you, or do you need anything. Their pizza is amazing. They will custom make it exactly as you want. And it is great pizza. However, there are several problems with the restaurant: - The music is normally so loud it is painful. It makes conversation inside impossible. I don't recommend going unless you can sit outside. - The wait is unusually long unless you go mid-afternoon on a work day. I would understand if it was because they were super busy. But normally there is a long wait even when they have few customers seated. The majority of the customers are always standing in line. It is as if they have some staffing problem or there is some problem with how they prepare pizzas. This more than anything knocks them to a 3-star at best. read more

This was a very good place to get a pizza. It was a good price and very tasty. My wife and I both liked how you could customise and pick your own toppings from seeing all they had to offer. Walked in with my homies to hesome very enjoyable music that come to find out was curated by the guy running the oven!! The process is similar to a roller coaster at an amusement park!!! The pizza is really good! I love the options and the thin crust! I didn't give 5 stars because for the second time I have gone in and there is an employee that is so high he can barely even stand up or keep his eyes open. First time he was at the register and couldn't comprehend the money so another employee finally came over and took over. Today he was making pizzas and couldn't figure out how to add the sauce and the toppings, again another employee had to come over and take over. My wife, toddler and myself came in today for dinner. She didn't want to come here but I pushed for it and won. (She was already mad at me.) walked in and there was a line. That's ok we can do lines... 45 mins later we are about to start the process to order... There was confusion with customers and workers the whole way. When we paid I had my wife go and sit down with our baby and said I would bring back the pizzas. They were busy. But my wife's pizza came out and I took it to her... Thinking my pizza was right behind I was wrong. I watch them pull my pizza out but wouldn't give it to me. I watch person after person get their pizza before me and they ordered theirs after me. Mine just sat there. I asked the manager why is my pie just sitting there he told me that he is going in order. When I told him I order the same time as my wife he then told me that he just got up there and was just trying to get the pizzas out. The other cook said that he saw my pizza sitting there for a longtime. When I told him that it was probably cold the manager got mad and then handed me my pizza. (After he cut off the burnt crust.) The other cook told me that they were short staffed and said come back another day and we will make it right. He then gave me a gift card for a free pizza. 1 hour 20 mins later I had my burnt cold pizza and ate it alone after my wife ate hers. Very disappointed. read more

I had high hopes for this new place but unfortunately the staff was reasonably incompetent given it is suppose to be a subway/Chipotle type experience going down a line in order. My pizza came out and sat getting cold as I watch the staff skip over it and box three pizzas from customers behind me in line. Well I'd like to say that my experience wasn't all to great at blaze yesterday I dont know where to start everybody was everywhere but helping costumers it didnt seem like they had enough workers at all or people just was poorly trained. When we arrived a young lady at the cash register told us someone would be with us but a man just sat there and did everything but help us. Then went to the back of the place an started yelling at someone i think the nice lady from befor it was very unprofessional There was a young man with a backpack on that was very helpful took our order even started making our pizza because they seemed busy dont even think he was on the clock but then the guy who was raising his voice in the back came out to the front and started yelling at him and saying some pretty rude things so the young man just said he'd leave he was just trying to help! It is the fast food of pizza. If your looking for high quality pizza this is not the place. If you looking for something quick and like pizza this is a good stop. My last stop there, they must have been changing staff so it took some time to take my order then I stood at the register for a good 5-10 minutes waiting for them to change staff without someone as much as looking up at me to say it will be a minute. Contact them through corporate number and you get no call back on voicemail. This was our 2nd trip to Blaze in Frandor. The 1st time we went was fantastic and why we came back again while visiting my mother in law in the hospital. We got there and there was a line to the door. I thought well the secret is out but it'll be worth the wait. It took probably 15 minutes before we got to the spot where you tell them what you want. My wife and I each got a build your own and my brother in law got a high rise build your own. Got all our toppings the way we wanted and I paid for the 3 pizzas and drinks. My brother in law gets his and it looks great. The girl serving the pizzas calls my name and says we burnt yours so if you'd go back to the front of the line we'll make you another. So I'm already feeling awkward because now I'm cutting in front of people that have been waiting a long time. So anyways I go through the routine with one guy and then get handed off to the girl that was just putting on the meat toppings the 1st time but she ends up doing the veggie and other toppings too as the other girl is refilling some of the topping bins. But my pizza is just sitting on the line for a couple minutes before finally the guy that pulls the pizzas in and out of the oven grabs it and puts it in the oven. So then I go sit down at the table nearest the register where my brother in law is already half done with his pizza. I said where's my wife. He says she's back in line. She sat down with her pizza and grabbed a piece and the bottom is completely burnt. So she makes it through the line and sits down so I stand over where you pick up the pizzas and there's people that were after me getting there pizzas. Then they call my wife's name and she gets hers and another. So then I say miss something's not right all these pizzas went in after mine. She asks me my name, I tell her and turns out the guy at the register had my paper with my order. She grabs the pizza that's been sitting there for 5 minutes and gives it to me. By then I'm pissed and I say you'd think that after you burnt my first order you'd take care of your customer a little better. She says that's what I'm trying to do sir. She says would you like a soft drink. I said no thanks I already paid for one and took my pizza to the table. So my brother in law is done with his pizza and my wife's almost done with her 2nd piece and I'm disgusted. I have to start by thanking Robin who was working Saturday when we went in. I had gotten my pizza and I add parmesan cheese at the table but today I should have skipped it. The container was a little less than half full. As I started to shake the container the top fell off and Parmesan covered my once mouth watering pizza. I blew and brushed off as much as I could but it stuck like flies on tape. It was like eating sawdust. While cleaning the dining area Robin asked us if everything was ok. I explained what had happened so she could check the other containers. She offered to have a new pizza made but we didn't have time to wait for a new one. She arranged for me to get a free pizza at my next visit and apologized for the situation. I am truly appreciative for her compassion because it wasn't Blazes fault that someone unscrewed the lid to be mean. She made what started out a horrible experience into a positive one. I love Blaze pizza however this location is almost always out of certain toppings (usually no chicken available sometimes certain sauces not available) which is very annoying especially because you don't know until you ask for it and they say they don't have it. Happened the last three times (all in the middle of the day not right before close or something) I went and probably won't go again for that reason, not sure why they find it difficult to keep all of their toppings in stock. Price of a build your this location is also slightly higher than other locations I've been to (Novi). The pizza is very good when they actually have everything available but since they rarely do I'll give this place 2/5. Not great to advertise so many things you can put on your pizza then turn out to be missing essentials like chicken (3 times in a row over a month)! read more

The pizza itself is fine but the service is S-L-O-W. The employees were definitely not in any hurry to make pizzas today. Everything was slow. Slowly and carefully brush the edges of the dough with olive oil, slowly put the sauce on the dough, slowly spread it around, slowly and carefully measure out each serving of cheese, slowly sprinkle it on the dough, slowly peel pepperoni off the stack, slowly place each individual slice one at a time equidistant from every other slice, slowly sprinkle any other toppings on. There were people who had finished having their pizzas constructed who still had to wait an additional 10 minutes or more just to get it back. I do not even want to give them a one star. I had ordered a Barbecue pizza there for pickup, and I realized that they DID NOT PUT ANY SAUCE ON IT... they forgot to put the barbecue sauce, so the pizza was just a bare pound of dough with pieces of chicken, banana pepper and onion. I had called them to let them know but instead of a single word of apology, all they said was 'we can't really do anything about it because there is no proof of it'. (WHAT??!?!) The manager asked to send a photo of it to her phone, so I had sent a picture of it. They received the picture, and they are still not doing anything....I called them few times, and no answer... It is understandable that the kitchen can make a mistake, but it's a whole different story when you are not making up for the mistake you have done to the customer. Now I see why all the reviews say the staff are unfriendly/rude, the restaurant is poorly managed and service is horrible. NOT GOING THERE AGAIN. read more

I gave two stars because the pizza itself tasted alright and the portion of the pizza for the price was nice but as the rating shows, I've had better. It was the experience that was most bothersome to me. The main reason I came to this pizza place was because I heard they offered gluten-free pizza crusts. After I waited in line about 30 minutes I was told they no longer had any gluten-free dough left and they just seemed to be waiting for me to be okay with that and accept the regular crust. I did because I had already been waiting a very long time. As I go through the line I also noticed they were out of a few ingredients that I wanted on put my pizza. They had a line almost out of the door and only two people putting the ingredients on the pizza!
