I don't even love pizza that much but this is such a solid choice for eating. I love that you can build your own with infinite toppings (other people are NOT maximizing this enough) for all the same price. They have a billion types of cheeses (shout out to ovalini mozzarella), pineapple, lots of meats, and multiple veggie toppings (raw and roasted garlic, raw and roasted onions). The pizzas come with 6 pieces and could really be enough for two meals. They have an app where you can get coupons from time to time and everyone is always very friendly with a great sense of humor. Get the self rising crust, it's so fluffy and more filling, worth the extra price! Pizza is good. Staff is are super nice. The huge negative is they say they have gluten free. Once you ask the entire staff act like they can't do that. First thing, they ask if preference or allergy. Cross contamination is a real thing and cause a ton of problems. They obviously need to be educated about the fact. Also do a better job of serving gluten free correctly. Update: We went back 8/13 and had a wonderful experience. They now ask if the gluten requires a glove change. They took their time was very careful when making our pizza. The staff was fantastic. I've been here a few times, and it's consistently good, but not amazing. Depending on the day/time, there can be essentially no wait or you may be standing in line for 30 minutes or more waiting to order. I like that they have a wide range of toppings (including some unique/interesting ones), and the staff have been fine (though not as friendly as those as their other location that has now closed). Because the pizza is thin, it takes a few of them to feed my family of four which does get expensive for a fast casual, assembly line. If I'm going to spend a similar amount of money on a restaurant pizza dinner for my family, I'd rather go somewhere else. read more

Blaze came in tops for all of our categories of quality, price, drinks and atmosphere! Two 11 year olds even made score sheets and had a blast. They made sure everything was on our pizza and just the right amounts. Parking is usually good--it's next to a cycling place and when they have a class going on parking sometimes gets sparse. It's clean & open inside. I ordered a pizza delivery from the company's website. The pizza was never delivered. But my bank account was debited. Store was called and manager, after shockingly showing resistance to acknowledge the need to redund, finally agreed upon doing the only obvious thing he had to do, that is refunding the amount into my acct. Almost 10 days after the incident I check the bank acct and the money is still showing as debited as it was never actually refunded. Be aware of this company! They lied to me and they did not take responsibility for what they did and they did not repair the damage. Like it's the customer's fault if Blaze Pizza cashed the money from the customer without providing the paid item. How dare they do business like that! Be very careful who you give your money to. The is the second time in a week that I ate at blaze (the other was the one in St. Matthews....also a first time visit). It really is a great concept for an eatery, and less expensive (and definitely more friendly) than fazoli's. Think of it as a Subway sandwich shop for pizza. For those of you that are paying attention to nutrition, it's only 800 calories for a pizza with meat and cheese toppings....about the same as a footlong sub. The variety of pizza is endless; as you can pick your own toppings; or choose from a pre fixe menu as well. The cost is very reasonable (also about the same as for a footling sub) for a much better taste. What can I say; it's super clean, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the food is great. The best part about Blaze is how fast it is. The design is similar to Subway in that you can pick your toppings in an assembly style format. Pizzas are then put into an oven and come out in less than 5-10 minutes from walking in the door. In the oven, the crust gets perfectly crispy. I like that you can choose your toppings. Most of the toppings taste great no matter which combination you choose, although the spinach the last time I went in tasted off. They also have fresh lemonades and agua Fresca to choose from (sunset punch is like an upgraded fruit punch). Great, fast pizza but watch the toppings you choose. read more

This is one of our favorite pizza places. We love the fresh made pizza and ingredients. The employees are very friendly and engage in conversation. However, on our most recent visit, the music was horrible! It created a lot of anxiety and was depressing. It was not pleasant or upbeat. We like most music and like to think we are very diverse but we may limited our visits due to the music choice. For this type of pizza Blaze is the best quality and best value IMHO. We had been eating at another chain and my family couldn't agree on it. My wife is very particular about her food's temperature. A few coworkers and I received coupons for a free pizza at The Summit. If you've never experienced this type of pizza place, it's set up like a subway but better! They have a wide variety of toppings and all of the vegetables are really fresh! While I am far from a vegetarian, the vegetable pizza looked amazing! It was regular crust with just plain marinara sauce, the toppings consisted of pizza blend cheese, Gorgonzola cheese, zucchini, mushrooms, artichoke, red peppers, and onion. I have to say I loved it! My only little complaint is that my pizza was cooked just a little more. They put a good even amount of sauce so the dough gets a little wet. But my favorite part is the girl who made it! She was so meticulous and it seemed like she was building a masterpiece. For the money you spend ($8.50 for the pizza, $2 for a drink) it's totally worth it. read more
