Where The Magic Happens!! ..."the waiting is the hardest part"

This is a pretty solid Blaze, I've always liked the concept of picking your own favorite toppings and having a Pizza made your way. If you think about it Blaze is kinda like the "Burger King" of Pizza places, lol. Just don't go thinking for too long because these people put together some seriously amazingly Fast Fire'd Pizza.    One of my all time favorites here is "The Carnivore" Pizza which has every kind of meat that they serve all on one pie. Plus I go ahead and have them add some Banana Peppers for me, cause you know you gotta have your veggies too right?  Service here is Fast Friendly and Efficient whether you're dining in or picking up and taking out. Come And Get Your Munch On!!

Blaze Pizza is a Casual make your own pizza place in Livingston. The staff was so very nice and we were able to make our own personal pizza version- I couldn't help but load many toppings on my pizza- meatball, onions roasted garlic, minced garlic, basil, red onion, extra sauce, ricotta, grated Parm cheese, and probably some more. After it came out of the special oven (assuming it was a brick) you can also add a special glazes/s to your cooked pizza- I picked olive oil and then a balsamic glaze. Others I was with picked their toppings too but with different glazes as well. We had a fun time and my toppings were all fresh, good, and enjoyable. It was a nice, casual place (order at the counter) with inside booths/tables for a quick meal exactly what we were going for that night. Enjoy.

Stopped by as my kid wanted to have a cheese pizza. Ample of parking available when we arrived. The pizza shop is clean and organized, our order was ready quickly, pizza is thin(nice) and my kid liked it. Priced reasonably. Will recommend

Good tasting pizza, good price, and I love that can add as many toppings as I like. I can eat a pie myself when I'm in a mood but a single pie can easily be shared with another person so everyone walks away satisfied. I like this location because they have free parking.

Love Love !!! We recently moved to essex county and I am always on a look out for a good slice of pizza. Lost count of the number of times we come to Blaze. Its now a weekly ritual :) We always get the limitless toppings large pizza which is great because you get to pick all your favorite toppings and still not pay a bomb. My go to toppings are pesto, fresh basil, vegan churrizo, peppers and vegan cheese. Plenty of options for all. Highly recommended.

We've placed orders for pickup from this Blaze Pizza multiple times at this point, and have not been disappointed. We always get good 11-inch pies made well with fresh ingredients and never-ever-burnt crusts (btw, the cauliflower dough option is a winner).

First visit. Online ordering was easy, I only waited 2 minutes inside and pizza was ready. The mushrooms were cut very thick so they were raw. Onions were also not cooked enough. Pizza tasted okay, however needed more cooking time. I picked up my pizza at around 12:30. Most tables were dirty and a lot of debris on the floor. Staff not friendly.

We just found out that my 7yr old will now live a diary free, gluten free, tree nut, peanut free lifestyle and i was legit freaking out as pizza is her 2nd love after chicken nuggets and in our house my twins take pizza Friday very seriously. I was elated to find out that blaze pizza and offers a gluten free, dairy free (vegan cheese) options. The also have cauliflower crust (great for me) and keto crust options. The food was tasty and the crust was not burnt! Which is very important item to mention when you need to satisfy the particular taste of a 7 year old. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and am extremely thankful for the business owners at Blaze to offer these options.

When you've been around greatness, you know it when you taste it…read more Tony D's Pizza in Caldwell is championship-level--no question. This is some of the best pizza in Essex County, period. From the crust to the sauce, everything is dialed in like a Super Bowl game plan. ***3 1/2 stars***…read more Maybe it lost something in transit or I didn't get the right pie, but I wasn't blown away by this place. I've had Tony D's on my list for a while, knowing it had a solid reputation amongst the North Jersey Italians (and what better demo to have it from?). Yesterday was a perfect opportunity to order/grab some pizza and bring it over to my top-tier chum in nearby Montclair for lunch. I didn't do a ton of recon so maybe there was a more obvious/modern method to ordering, but from what I could tell, this place was pretty old school and I just picked up the phone and called over - honestly can't remember the last time I did that, but it brought a nice whiff of nostalgia for me after years of ordering on apps. Didn't realize that Tony D's is literally right around the corner from my BFF Cloverleaf, so the location is pretty convenient if you're in the area. The parking in Caldwell can be pretty annoying, and even though I'm sure I could have rolled the dice I paid a little less than a dollar to park up the street further into a residential neighborhood. Given that Tony D's is exclusively delivery/pickup joint, I think they should pay for the spots right in front as a courtesy to their customers coming in and out; maybe they do and I missed it but if not... Anyway. The guy behind the counter was VERY nice/friendly, and even though I was a few minutes early based on the estimated ETA off my phone call, the pizza literally had just come out of the oven and was ready to rock. From that vantage point, top-notch service. The specific pie that seemed to be their go-to was the Drunken Grandma, which is usually one of my favorites (vodka sauce on pizza should be much more prevalent in my opinion) but I wasn't crazy about the chunks of tomato on it. In hindsight, would have been easy to pick off or even to request that they not be included to begin with, so that would be my recommendation based on this experience. I opted for a square plain pie, especially since I knew that a few young pups would likely be sampling the wares; seemed like an overall safe bet. Optics-wise, I thought it looked very good, and I don't regret going square here. The crust for me was probably the best part, and I made sure to strategically grab all of the corner pieces once we started eating. Nice crisp to it for sure. The overall taste of the pie just wasn't my thing. I wasn't crazy about the sauce (maybe another argument for the vodka sauce, right?) and the cheese was just okay. Tasted to me more like generic by the slice pizza, which isn't my preference. My top-tier chum liked it more than I did, so definitely could just be an issue with palate preference here but this might have suffered from inflated expectations. I'd give them another shot if a similar circumstance presented itself, but I'd go with the pie it's known for - there's a reason the Drunken Grandma is front and center in almost every review. Learn from me.

So, I decided to give it a try for dinner. They don't accept reservations. I arrived around 6:30 pm on a Friday to avoid crazy wait times, but still had to wait ~40 minutes. It didn't feel very long since the waiting area has a mobile wine/beer bar outside & you're able to order drinks from the restaurant as well while you wait. I didn't come with kids, but I saw a lot of families waiting. It was a kid friendly space. The inside was quite dim & it kept getting dimmer as the night progressed. I didn't love this, but it didn't bother me as much either. Pizza was delicious, and the bread tasted very fresh. The pictures show an individual pizza size, which we were told might not be big enough to share, but we made it work amongst 3 girls.
