I had Blaze pizza in the past but only ordered and pick up by my coworkers. Today I came into the Monrovia store and I have to say, it was one of the best experiences I've had when it comes to restaurants. First of all, Janet took my pizza order which she truly demonstrated patience and grace throughout my indecisiveness...so many ingredients to order from. Then I walked down and had the most friendly and welcoming cashier, Natalie. I ordered a beer and Natalie went to get her manager to make sure she was providing me accurate information on the beers. Manager came over and answered my question and restocked the beer tank so I didn't have the end of the suds. Now this is what I call excellent service!!! I understand people have bad days, but for the first time in my life I had to walk out of the restaurant because the two pizza maker/assembler or whatever you call them ladies' attitudes on Sept 9, 2022. One was yelling at me because I couldn't hear what she was saying, and I couldn't understand her so I asked for her to clarify. The other I observed being really rude to someone trying to order a pizza in front of me. Save yourself a headache and go to Pieology down the street off Huntington like I did. read more

I love Blaze! I would choose it over Pieology any day of the week and twice on Sunday! I worked at a pizza shoppe for three years, so I know about pizza. I like the spicy red sauce and the plethora of toppings! It can get busy, but things move quickly. I have been here several times, but recently took my mom and she really liked it as well. read more

I truly can't understand how this place allegedly has 4 stars. They are so unbelievably slow and negligent and it's never busy. The person in front of me placed an online order and they had been waiting for an hour and 15 min. I've only been waiting 45 min and I'm upset. This is very common here. They never do the online orders. The cross contamination is so bad as well. I understand it's hard in a restaurant like this, but they can at least try. There are people waiting in line for 45 min. We used to enjoy there regular build your own pizza. We ordered online and tried the two large for $22 deal with two toppings each and these are totally different then they're regular pizza. Super soft and soggy, amazing amount of Grease, and they skimped on the toppings. Seems like they did not bake them long enough. read more

12/28/2019 What time do they close? I think I walked in here right at 11pm. After I sat down with my pizza, a few stragglers wandered in as well. Instead of the signature pizzas, I selected the 2 topping pizza. Better price difference for the same items. Such as the meat lovers is pepperoni and sausage with onions and mozzarella cheese. The one I picked is just leaving out the onions. Each of the toppings pizza you choose already comes with sauce and cheese. That seems to be standard enough. read more

I been coming here since day 1 and unfortunately, their services and quality of food has dropped. Customer service isn't there, they are a bit rude, making the pizza is a bit slow, and they seem to be a bit more messy and sloppy. I had a few encounters where the person who helped me was super unprofessional, while attempting to help me, they were giggling with their friend. While the line is getting super long to order and pay and its only one guy who is ringing people up and turning the pizzas. And is it weird that most of the July yelp reviews, are all 5 stars and super short, and left by people who never leaves reviews?? ... Seems a bit suspect to me.. Price: reasonable, the same at all Blaze Parking: shared lot Location: kind of near the corner-ish,same plaza as Vons I really hope they hire more people to help out.. maybe those who are currently working are displaying bad customer service is because they are short staffed and overworked.
