I'm going back again tomorrow, cuz the pizza box went way too fast, cuz it's that good. We ordered a large Tuscan (thin crust) mushroom and olive pizza. We didn't add, alter or delete anything on App, as far as cheese and sauce was concerned. I might experiment with a few different sauces and more one day. The seasoning was spot on. Literally from dough to sauce, so my nose and palate was happy. All in all, it's a well put together pie. Not too saucy, salty or sweet. We got the Cheesy Bacon Rolls, and omg!!! Not greasy at all, and it's got good size. Again, it's delicious! No tables to eat inside, but don't let that stop you from trying this place out The cashier was awesome, polite and attentive. Roughly 10 times I've been there I love the artichoke with sausage and fresh garlic Sometimes good, sometimes bad one time pizza had wrong ingredients and one time burned. I ordered delivery through their app today and I must say... Yummy yummy in my tummy! The combination pizza was so good which just the right amount of toppings. And for me it's all about the quality of the meats. The pepperoni were delicious and the sausage was real Italian sausage. Not like those little balls of something that you get on Pizza Hut pizzas. The crust was light and crispy and the cheese had a great pull to it. My antipasto salad was fresh and delicious. It could've used a bit more toppings/ingredients but it was very fresh. No brown or yellow lettuce. The Parmesan wings were good. Not the best ever, but certainly good. I usually like my wings harder fires but I think they bake theirs. I also ordered sausage with a pasta kinda like ziti. I really enjoyed that dish. The delivery person was very nice and really sweet. So, your pizza's are always good, the delivery service not so much. A couple of times I have received a pizza that wasn't what I ordered. Granted, you delivered the correct pizza eventually, but really. Once thing that is always consistent is your delivery is always always always late. I pay a delivery fee at the time of ordering and I also give a tip at the same time. How do I get my tip back when your delivery is 20-30 minutes late? Why would I tip for that? I guess my option is to not tip at time of paying online and tip at delivery, but guess what in this day and age I don't keep much cash on me. My suggestion is to improve your delivery times. Easy to call in to place an order and when I arrived it was done. Entering the shop was a little strange as we waited about 10 minutes before anyone greeted us. There were looks of acknowledgement but no actual words "Hi, thanks for coming in, we'll be with in a moment" type thing. When someone came to cashiers counter, they were friendly. Came in at night around 9pm today and ordered a pepperoni large pie. And was told in 15mins and exactly in 15mins it was ready that's very impressive for a walk in. I hate to say it but this pizza is much better than sweet basil, dominos and pizza hut. They remind me of my favorite pizza place in west covina named 3.99 pizza. The best pizza in duarte in my personal opinion was Thyme Pizza but they have closed down years ago I am a pizza enthusiast and this definitely surprised me This is my first time eating this pizza and they got great competition. We wanted to like this place and ordered from them several times. The quality seemed pretty good so we ordered again. Today they proved to be inconsistent and lack follow through. Our pizza was almost an hour late and lukewarm at best. I had called when it was about 20min late and they apologized for having staffing issues and offered to add some things to the order. Those items never made it to us so I feel like they said it just to appease the call. We knew the pizza had been sitting finished for over 30min because they told me but my family still had to eat so we didn't have a choice. If it comes hot it's pretty good and the prices are average. Today the pizza looked slopped together and parts of the pizza didn't even have sauce. On top of being lukewarm, the crust was tough. It's a pretty nice pizza joint. The crust has nice texture, flavor is pretty good, and they're near the freeway. If you get the lunch or deal items, it can be pretty affordable. If you want to splurge and get the special stuff, they're pretty good too. My personal favorite is the buffalo chicken. Pretty refreshing flavor if you're tired of pepperoni. They're not super great with customized order. We had special requests a couple of times and everytime, it's not right. They're nice and willing to remake it but we don't want to wait. This Pizza Guys is newly opened and can be found in the same plaza as 7-11 with a small parking lot. I tried Pizza Guys last month through a Yelp event, have tried them at a friend's house and have also recently ordered from them earlier this month. On my most recent order, I made a phone order for the following: Cheezee Bacon Rolls, $8.99 prior to tax- A tasty roll of cheese but not a good distribution of bacon pieces throughout. The middle of the rolls were still doughy inside so I had to rebake these. Spinach Pineapple Salad, $8.99 prior to tax- I surprisingly liked the combination of the fresh spinach and pineapple together and found it to be refreshing. The portion size is great for one person. But there were some wilted spinach pieces that should have been removed. Big 'n Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie, $7.99 prior to tax- This dessert wasn't as good as I was hoping it would be, as it was burnt on the sides and bottom. ---------------------------- (Total= $28.63 after tax, prior to tip) I was told over the phone that my order would be ready in 30 minutes. I made the call at 11:30 am on a Thursday. I ended up coming 35 minutes after making the phone order and my order was not ready. I was acknowledged by an employee behind the counter and said my order was almost ready. I waited another 15 minutes before my order was ready (I just sat on a chair inside). The employee who took my order (he could possibly be the manager?) double checked with me asking if I had ordered the spinach salad. I said yes and then he went to go get the spinach and other ingredients to prepare it. Then I waited for my another employee to ring me up (as he was preparing another pizza order). I think with only 2 employees, they may have benefited from a 3rd employee working during that shift. Initially I was disappointed that I had to wait for my order and that my salad was the spinach pineapple instead of the spinach tomato salad that I had ordered on the phone. But I must admit, I don't mind the spinach and canned pineapple together and thought it actually went well together, so that was a nice accident I suppose. But still was disappointed with the rest of the service. Also when I had tried Pizza Guy's at a friend's house, he had ordered the Cup & Crisps Pizza Duo and part of the pepperoni and crust was burnt. I was surprised by whoever packed this pizza would actually box this up and sell this to a paying customer. Overall, I wouldn't come back to this location. Service was timely and I love that they texted to let me know my pickup was ready. First off the wings. They were miniature and only half sauced. They looked pitiful in their big box and $12.99 was outrageous for a single bite of meat per wing. Honestly they look better in the photos than in real life and they don't look great in photos. Pizza was not what I pictured for XL size. Loads of toppings which was great and we asked for well done- which it came - so that was nice as well. Pizza was absolutely dripping in grease. Like 4 napkins full of grease for my one piece and I couldn't get it all off. I mean it tasted 'fine' but the overall pizza was pretty much dominos. The cheese was coagulated and dry with no flavor and the sauce had no seasoning at all. The crust was not chewy or pillowy. It tasted like freezer pizza. Along with our wings, we did get a side of ranch. It came in a little package container and like everything else and pretty much no flavor. I also asked for an extra side of ranch for my pizza, which I did not get. I'm all for trying new places and service, etc. I was fine. But the food was beyond disappointing. I was very happy to have this pizza joint near me. The pizza is a bit more pricey than other chains but the quality is so much better than your typical chain pizza. The dough is soft and bouncy. The toppings are so fresh and varied. They have truly unique topping combinations. The stuffed crust is always my favorite! The only reason and big reason I am giving this place a one star is because I found a piece of hair in my pizza slice. I don't think I would personally go back for that reason. But, what are the odds of getting another hair in my pizza? So maybe I'll go back? I'm not too sure as of right now if I will go back or not after finding the hair in my food... read more

We got a flyer in the mail for this new location a few weekends ago and decided to try it - so glad we did! 5/5 from my husband and that's saying a lot because pizza is his fav food. We did the $40 deal that came with 2 pizzas, cheesy bread, pizza cookie, and a 2 liter of soda. We thought the price was really fair for the size of the pizzas and especially for the quality! The cheesy bread was insanely good ... prob our fav part! There's definitely some sort of secret sauce under the cheese or something. It almost reminded me of grilled cheese from Brazilian steakhouses that the restaurants drizzle honey over (not grilled cheese sandwiches, but actual grilled cheese lol). It was the best cheesy bread we've ever had for sure! The pizza cookie melted in our mouths and was delicious. We loved the pizza, too. The service and pizza has declined in recent months, but today was the last straw. I ordered my pizza on the slice app and when it said it was ready I came to pick up my order and the staff shared that it wasn't even in the oven yet and that the app was wrong. I waited an additional 20 minutes totaling to 50 minutes before I walked back in to ask about my pizza which they said was ready. However, upon returning to my home and about to eat my pizza I found that the pizza dough was undercooked and was not edible because of how doughy it was. I called Slice customer service app to refund my money as the pizza was so undercooked. They asked for confirmation with a picture and to email it to them so that they could discuss the issue with Pizza Guys. I sent a clear photo of the undercooked photo. When customer service finally took me off hold they shared that Pizza Guys would discuss my refund in an hour and Slice shared that they would call me back to discuss this further. It's been almost three hours and no call, no refund for the expensive botched dinner, and no resolution for this issue. I'm all for supporting small business, but not being ripped off by waiting for a pizza I ordered for over an hour to then getting that pizza and it not being cooked all the way. I am disappointed in the customer service and will sadly not be returning as this was both unprofessional and bad business selling an unfinished meal and not reimbursing the buyer. I hope this review helps Pizza Guys and Slice with their procedures and timeliness so the pizza is cooked fully and on time based on the estimated time and not what happened today. read more

Never got a text. 45 minutes later I called the location and guy on phone said delivery person already picked it up and it's on it's way. Called again stating I received a text saying delivery will be 1 hour and 45 minutes after I made the original online order. He then stated delivery has already picked up. I told the guy, if I would have known it would take this long, I would have picked it up myself... I live 8 minutes away for +$(* sake. 3 minutes after this, got another text.... Stating driver just picked up the order. Finally got the order 1 hour 15 minutes after original purchase. Takeaway: more accurate delivery times.
