Deacon got pepperoni w Bacon extra cheeses and lite sauce, we got Cheese Garlic bread and Cheese Pesto w roasted garlic bread sticks and Joshua had half pizza 4 cheese w pepperoni and I got half pizza w pepperoni, mozzarella, parmesan, feta cheeses, red onions, black olives, roasted garlic with Jalapenos The food was delicious and definitely recommend to all. Food was good, a bit flowery on the bottom of the pizza, but other than that good as expected. Pete needs an attitude adjustment! Been here twice this year passing through and both times, Pete was not the friendly host you would expect. He doesn't want to be there, and he definitely let us know both times we went in. I understand the feeling, but this is not something you project to your customers. The rest of the staff were awesome. This place seems underrated at 3 stars in my opinion, more like 4.5 stars. It's a pretty convenient pizza shop. Order at the front when you walk in, choose from several different dough options, and build your own pizza from a big selection of toppings or get one off the menu. Pizza is made fresh fairly quickly in a big brick oven. I was pretty happy with what I got for the price. Takeout or dine in, there's a large indoor seating area and outside tables. A fellow WV native and buddy of mine introduced me to a "fast-pizza" chain that absolutely set my expectations ablaze. Upon entering Blaze Pizza, I couldn't help but noticing the glorious pizza aroma -- penetrating the atmosphere for hundreds of feet beyond the car park. The gentleman at the counter was very attentive and accommodating as the young fellow beside me lacked the slightest idea of what the ordering process was like. A little birdie behind me ordered a few pizzas to go. She seemed to be a seasoned customer -- better seasoned than my pizza, at least. Before the water in my cup had a chance to form a meniscus, my personal pizza was ready, and I was rather pleased with the classic crust. Pizza is one of my favorite foods so I thought I would give this place a try! I ordered the build your own pizza on the thick crust and the Greek salad. The dressing for the salad was too sweet for my liking on a Greek salad. I was expecting more of a vinaigrette tasting dressing. I tried the garlic sauce with numerous meat and veggie toppings for my pie. The pizza came out nice and crispy on the edges, but the middle of the pizza was undercooked. I did add a lot of topping which probably contributes to this, however you would think the oven times would be adjusted accordingly. For all the toppings I added, the pizza tasted a little bland. We visit blaze pizza every time we're in town because it's my daughter's favorite. This was the second time we've been treated rudely. As I was picking up the crumbs off the floor from my 1 year old, my children walked over to look at the rain coming down outside. Yes, of course they touched the glass. I tossed the crumbs and went to tell them not to touch and just to look and before I got there the older gentleman (or lack thereof) yelled at me and said they had their windows cleaned this morning and to get my kids off. Appalled isn't even the word for how I felt. Of course I wouldn't have intentionally let them touch the glass but my goodness they're children. My 5 year old looked at me with tears and said "that man was really not nice". We absolutely will never go back. As we traveled through West Virginia we stumbled upon Blaze Pizza. I've been to Blaze pizza once before in MD, so I had a good idea of what to expect. I was greeted and helped immediately upon entering. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They all actually looked happy to be at work. I ordered a personal sized pizza (build you own) and added my own toppings. The toppings are unlimited, which is great. They also have a great variety of toppings. I chose chopped garlic, mozzarella, goat cheese, mushrooms, red peppers, and topped it off with pesto sauce and olive oil. The pizza cooked in practically no time. Everything tasted really good. My only complaint would be the bottom of the pizza had quite a bit of black stuff on the bottom from the oven. It didn't seem to affect the taste too much. I've been here only a couple times but both experiences have been positive. The staff has been friendly, helpful, and quick. The location has been clean and easy to navigate. When I heard there was another pizza joint I knew i had to check it out and see how it pairs against Lotza. As soon as I walked in to the brightly lit establishment with incredibly cheerful employees, I realized it can't be compared to the college-town late night pizza corner that I was accustomed to. It further exceeded my expectation with the unlimited topping option since most places like this limit you to 5. There were plenty of meat and fresh vegetables to choose from, and what really astonished me was the variety of cheeses in addition to the usuals such as goat cheese, ricotta, and gorgonzola. However tempting the unlimited option might be, just a word of caution that less is sometimes more! I went a little cheese happy my first time. I was also blown away by the customer service. My first pie accidentally got too much balsamic on it, even though I said it was fine the employees insisted that they make me a new one and also gave me a free desert. Was hungry for pizza but wasn't from this area. It's within walking distance to our hotel. Great deals online. HIGHLY recommend ordering online for pick up to save some money. One person with a legitimate gluten allergy, so it was a thought considering they have gluten-free options. Unfortunately they don't offer their gluten-free pizza for online orders! At standing in line for a few, a team member (possibly the manager) asked me 'how many pizza's' and I said well I want a 1/2 and he again asked 'how many pizzas' and then my husband said '1/2 and 1'. We had tried another location in Pittsburgh and liked it. But, I think the Morgantown location is even better. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I shared a Caesar salad and white top pizza with my daughter. Both were so good and plenty of food. The potions are large and for the price - excellent. The employees were EXTREMELY rude. We moved a chair from the table beside us for the car seat the baby was in to sit on. As soon as we were done eating an employee came over and slammed the chair on the ground so hard it scared the baby and made her cry. The food was great, but the customer was AWFUL. Please improve your management. Went in randomly on a weekday to try it out. I didn't know the exact hours of operation but figured it would be open as the Jersey Mikes next store was. I walked in and Austin greeted us with a smiling face, asking we give him a minute to collect himself before making our pizzas. The 'temp' manager huffed and puffed and then proceeded to lock the door behind us, locking us in. It was 10:56am. Don't have your doors open and then get mad because a customer was able to walk in. Then the stand-in manager couldn't ring up our order. He was absolutely dumbfounded. Austin came over and attempted and quickly realized that another employee (who was late) had the only access to the register to ring us up properly. This made zero sense but seeing that there was a line of customers forming behind us quickly, we just gave a $20 bill (our order was $18 and some change) and sat down. We witnessed the magical cashier stroll in with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth from across the parking lot, about the pace of a snail. Felt bad as there was clearly one employee who knew how to take charge of a situation and was holding up the rest of his coworker's load. read more

In my opinion: Pros: Really fast service, very polite staff, a great environment for sit-in meal (clean, spacious, comfortable), wide selection and customizations for their build-your-own pizza. Cons: I got a veggie pizza with vegan cheese so that's kinda difficult to critique in a way that applies to other pizzas haha... but I'll give some details. The toppings kinda overwhelmed the pizza (so with veggies and vegan cheese it was a little watery/soggy). The crust on mine was a little burnt (the person ahead of me looked that way too). read more
