I love blaze pizza. So reasonably priced, and I like that the pizza doesn't feel too heavy either! Its always light and fresh whenever we go, which is of course why we keep coming back. Their spicy red sauce has a proper kick to it, which I love. My hubby always gets that with pepperoni and bacon, with a little BBQ sauce drizzle and dollops of ricotta. And my fav combo is a veggie pesto pizza with a balsamic drizzle, topped with arugula and sea salt. So good! We love that it's always super quick, and has so many options too. We've found one of the secrets to getting a great tasting pizza at Blaze is to have them put the pesto glaze on the crust and then put the sauce on top of that. I've driven by this location in Midwest city many times, always a small crowd on site. My hubby wanted to try a new pizza spot and chose Blaze. We arrived and it was kinda empty, parking available in front of business. Upon entering we were greeted quickly. After asking a few questions we decided to make a custom large barbecue chicken/ pepperoni pizza. Once cooked it came out hot. I am giving them 5 stars because of their amaIng customer service. The pizza is pretty good but my husband and I are still figuring out how to order. Be careful with the regular crust, it is very thin and if you put many toppings on it, the crust will be burned. I ordered the high rise the next time and didn't love my toppings but the crust was good the toppings were my own fault because I did BYO. I love the fresh mozz and roasted garlic but didn't love the roasted red peppers (too watery) and ricotta (also too watery). I also love that they do drizzles on top. The desserts are okay. I've been to a few different blaze pizzas in California and Florida and for some reason this particular blaze just doesnt do it for me. The first time i ordered they did not get my order completely correct and it was cold which i mentioned in a guest survey via email. I was sent two free pizza coupon codes through email from David their guest experience advisor. Which was awesome. More than gracious. In addition i had a blaze gift card received as a gift. I tried to make an online order today using both the gift card and the free pizza coupon (separately) and neither of them worked. I called the store to see if there was some insight or help that they could provide and whoever answered was not helpful at all. And when i asked if there was potentially a supervisor that may be able to help me i was told "im in charge." Which okay cool, but whoever it was today that was in charge was not helpful at all. They essentially told me there was nothing they could do for me. I even asked if i could place the order over the phone and give her the coupon code to see if it would work on their end as opposed to using the app or online portal and who ever it was that i talked to would not budge on trying to help me find a solution and place an order. Its unfortunate bc I have always really liked blaze pizza and theres only one here in OKC. But i guess it is what it is. I probably wont be trying to order from here again unfortunately. read more

I visit Blaze often. The mobile app makes to go orders a breeze. I always order the Red Vine. It's a great light pizza that is filling and healthy at the same time. It doesn't lack in flavor either. My biggest issue with Blaze is their inconsistency. Sometimes I go and have the best experience, kind workers and great pizza. And then the next time I get someone who doesn't know what they are doing or won't even look at me while I'm trying to order. I recently visited with a friend and we both ordered the same pizza. We had two different employees make our pizza. My pizza was missing tomatoes and was sloppy and her pizza was perfect. I wish I would have snapped a pic to show the drastic difference. I have always loved the blaze up until tonight. Staff was friendly until I went to check out. I noticed I was over charged for one of the pizzas after I sat down. I went up to confront the employee and it seemed to her as if I was a bother. She proceeded to void the first payment and charge me correctly. They offer several different types of crust including Ketos crust. We had the build your own pizza. I had a basic crust with regular sauce and sausage with an unsweet tea. Everything was perfect ! The parking is shared with 2 other stores but it's a huge lot so shouldn't be a problem. They do offer some sort of happy hour half the pizza for half the price from 11-4 Monday through Friday. Just a COVID era props for Blaze, in addition to my previous review, which was also glowing. My mother-in-law lives nearby now, so it's become a bit of a tradition to grab a few pizzas, and sit out on her patio to eat them. We've tried to be really careful during COVID, but she's also a widow, who lives alone, and her grandkids bring her a lot of joy, so we try to balance being careful with seeing her and making sure the kids get time with her. Whenever it is nice enough, we order pizzas and bring them over to enjoy on her deck. My kids love their plain cheese pizza, and adults appreciate the keto pizza options and salads, (since no one in their right mind would ever say they love a keto pizza). But I really do appreciate the fact that we can order a pizza for the kids, a pizza for the adults that doesn't have to count as a cheat meal, and do it all online. Their online ordering system is easy and smooth, and I should also point out that the other day, as we waited for our order to be ready, we watched an employee come out and clean and sanitize the door handles on all the doors. Got in line to order and got the cauliflower crust with the classic red sauce and mozzarella cheese. Toppings were roasted garlic, which I love and is very rare to find in a pizza shop, fresh basil, red and green bell peppers, and purple onion. I asked for crispy crust, which they said they could do. BUT THEY CAN'T! Even had them put it back in the oven. The crust was very dark brown and still it wasn't crispy. Since it is so thin, I don't know why they can't get it crispy. 2 personal pizzas were $29.00. Totally not worth it for soggy, wimpy crust. The Blaze in Tulsa makes a very crispy crust with the cauliflower crust. Crispy like a cracker! I'll stick to that store on my occasional visits to Tulsa. Blaze is cool and exciting, but it's kind of like qdoba or chipotle but for pizza; I'm not a fan of qdoba or chipotle. Don't expect your leftovers to be pleasantly edible the next day; specifically the crust. You can load the heck out of the pizza for $8+tax, but I would rather pay less for a one topping pizza at another pizza place. If you have not been to Blaze Pizza, then you have not lived! It's amazing! For $8, you get to choose and create your very own pizza! This strategy is great because you're not stuck sharing a large pizza from one of the chain pizza places with the topping that you probably didn't even want, but had to compromise to get as a group. At Blaze Pizza, everyone gets to be an only child: You get your own pizza, your own way, all to yourself! If you want to share, no problem! Sharing is caring! Your pizza will be cut into slices for you after the staffs cook in the brick oven over the open fire (am I saying that right?). The crust cooked in their oven is amazing! It's crisp, fresh, and tasty! When I first discovered Blaze Pizza, I came three times in two weeks! I remember one year on March 14th, the pizza was $3.14 each per person. That was a great deal! In addition to their amazing pizza, they have veggie and gluten free options... how great is that?! Since I loved them so much, I collaborated with the manager, Mark, and Blaze Pizza to do a fundraiser for my university. It was such an easy process and rewarding process! They made flyers for my classmates and I to distribute. Mark and his staffs were amazing! They worked with us every step of the way from the start to the end. At the end of the fundraiser, I received emails and people on campus coming up to me to say how great the service was and the pizza they created was fun and delicious! That made my heart happy, because we were raising money for a good cause and I love hearing that people had fun and enjoyed helping. Two of us (white) ordered for a person that wasn't standing next to us (not even around) and were given our pizza. My friend (that is black) did the same thing right after me. She was questioned and denied right after I wasn't denied. The man pulling pizzas (white) tried to make it right by bringing her the pizza after the fact. Because I didn't speak up and that is disgusting to me, I'm putting it in print to let you know that the person checking us out (not white, not black) was extremely discriminatory in this instance. Okay so this isn't like empire or anything but it's still pretty delicious. Blaze let's you customize your pizza and finishes making it in less than 5 minutes. They're kind of like subway where you can pick the dough, sauce, cheese, veggies, and meats. They also have signature pies to choose from and you can customize it from there. I love coming here when I'm in the area and feel a little pickier about what I'm eating. I don't know how they make pizza healthy but I don't feel horrible after eating here And oh my goodness, they're ingredients are so fresh and flavorful. I might have an addiction to Blaze. That's okay. Admitting it is the first step. I went for my first time in Florida. A few days later, while visiting family, I went for my second time, mostly because they were sick of me saying how much I liked it. Unfortunately, this is the only location in OKC, so if you're in South OKC/Moore/Norman, it's a trek. But stop by when you're shopping at Quail Springs and you won't be disappointed! The employees are very polite, they gave the info spiel to my mother and were patient while we indecisively picked our toppings. I LOVE that I can be creative and weird and no extra charge! I'm knocking off half a star because my father's crust was black and so was half my mother's, but they said they didn't really want the crust...weirdos. Mine was good, so it's just hoping that the cook is keeping an eye on the pizzas. This location also is LOUD. It echos a ridiculous amount and a screaming child The other half star (probably should be a full star, but I'll round up) comes off for cleanliness. 3 tables were occupied when we got there and every other table was dirty. And they were making no effort in cleaning them until a party of ten came in looking for somewhere to sit. That is such an easy remedy, especially when it's not really busy, that it frustrates me. Omg!! Love this pizza!! Sauce, cheese, and crust! Normally I don't eat the crust on pizza but on this one I ate ALL the crust! It was sooo good! I was craving it the next day! I got the veggie pizza and it had seasonal veggies which included corn(thought that was weird to have corn on a pizza but it ended up tasting good). Love the Gorgonzola on it! The kids had cheese and I tried it and loved it! The fire blaze taste is delicious (kinda salty savory). Husband had the one with sausage and peppers and he ate the whole thing-delicious! Yet another place that I've visited several times and never done a review. Once again, shame on me! This isn't the first fast casual pizza concept, but it appears to be the most successful. I love everything about this place, from the crust to the fresh ingredients to the friendliness of their staff. I always get the original dough, but they have gluten free, a cauliflower crust and other options as well. On to the next station where you can pick from several different base sauces and they always put the perfect amount. No dry or drippy crust here! Next is the meats and once again they have options. Pepperoni, Italian sausage, grilled chicken, turkey meatballs, etc. After that comes veggies and they're options aren't limited here either; they've got mushrooms, olives, red onions, banana peppers, etc. You can then finish off with some additional seasonings like oregano or crushed red pepper. Then they send it to the oven where it's always cooked perfectly and fast! For drinks, they've got the standard drink fountain, but then they also offer a blood orange lemonade that is AMAZING!! I don't usually eat much pizza but for some reason I was craving for some. I usually just get Pizza Hut or Dominoes. But on this particular day, i decided to change it up since i was going to be in the area that evening. I placed my order online and got the Meat Eater pizza. I added about 5 other toppings to it thinking that i'll just pay a little extra for it. To my surprise, i did not get charged a penny for the additions of the toppings. When i went in to pick up the pizza, i was surprised how the whole set up is. This is my first time ever getting pizza from Blaze. All the staff I encountered where very friendly and helpful. This dosen't seem like all the other pizza places i've been to. It looks to be like how Subway Sandwich is set up where all the ingredients are in front of you and they make the pizza right there. The pizza is then cooked in an open flame oven so the cook has to be there to make sure it doesn't burn. I got the pizza and rushed home to devour it. On my drive back, the pizza and garlic (garlic was one of the toppings i added) aroma made my mouth water. I was so excited to eat this pizza because i was craving pizza all day. The first bite into the slice was so satisfying. The dough was thin but was not soggy after 10-15 minutes of just sitting there. There was a nice crunch to the bite. The toppings were evenly distributed. The fresh basil and garlic took the pizza to another level. The meat provided a perfect level of saltiness and flavor. I haven't had pizza in a while but Blaze definitely satisfied my craving. Paid under $9 and added multiple topping without being charged.
