I was going there to meet people for a birthday party. And when I walked in, I was asked if I needed something, and I said, I'm gonna sit at the bar and get a drink. And a gentleman came in, said, I've got to run an errand do you need anything? And just wasn't even giving me the time to even look at a menu or do anything. And was just put off that. Joey's Pizzeria is alright. The door is kinda hard to find. The food is a bit pricey and bland but the portions are large. The servers were very nice but they were not organized. My friend got her drink refilled by three different waiters (once after she already turned down the refill). We have been looking forward to eating at Joey's for several months. Finally it worked out where we could get there when traffic wasn't crazy and there were no events in PayCom. We arrived at Joey's at 5:20 on a Saturday afternoon. We walked in and were seated immediately. We were seated right in the middle of the restaurant (that becomes important in a minute). There were parties at 3 tables, not busy at all. The greeter told us our server would be here in just a minute to get our drink order. We had been looking at the menu for weeks so we knew we wanted the breadsticks, calzones, and a crepe for dessert. The crepes are what we were most excited about. So we waited. No one came to our table to take our drink orders. One of the parties were finished, paid their bill and left. OK. We watched the one server who appeared to be the only server working at the time. He brought food to the party behind us. He had taken the money from the party that left. He had walked to the back of the restaurant and taken a short break and got something to drink (we could see him). The greeter had walked by our table 3 or so times. After we had been there 6 minutes, yes, I checked my watch, a new party came in. It was a single man. The greeter was in the back so one of the 2 people working at the bar come to the front, walking right past us, and took the man to a table. Within 20 seconds (estimated, but it was very quickly) the one server was at his table taking his drink order. At that time we sadly decided that we were not going to wait any longer. It had been 7 minutes and NO ONE HAD VISITED OUR TABLE! Not an hi, I'm your server and I'll be back in just a minute to take your order. NOTHING!!! So we left. No one followed us. No one yelled and try to stop us. We don't move very fast and it would have been easy to stop us and talk to us but no. It felt like we had a cloak of invisibility on. We were very disappointed. I didn't get pictures of the salad the came with my spaghetti or the meatball appetizer we had but both were great as well and their marinara sauce is homemade and it is sooooo good! Costumer service was very pleasing and they were so welcoming. Seems they get most of their traffic during dinner time they also have a bar. It's pretty dark in there as well. read more

Joey's is a great as ever! You still absolutely cannot beat the baked ravioli! I don't know how they get something baked to taste perfectly fried!!! The pizzas are always feeling in the toppings are fresh and taste homemade. I love the pace of the restaurant and the ability to sit and talk with friends without feeling rushed. read more

This place has amazing pizza, meatballs and salads. Will try their pasta next time but was definitely satisfied by those dishes at least! Excellent iced teas as well. Excellent service from the moment we walked through the door. The staff was so friendly and helpful when explaining the menu. The ambiance was classic pizzeria, albeit a little dark in the restaurant. There is ample seating, and it is large enough to accommodate groups. We enjoyed our food once we narrowed down our choices from the many options available. They have some unique offerings, including the Bianca Neve, which was touted as the most popular menu item. It was pretty good, but probably not the best they have to offer. I would return again if I am in the area, and I would save room for dessert next time because they have several good choices. read more

Ordered Togo so that we could dine at a nearby brewery. Sadly the food was not worth the money. The lettuce had pieces of the stems in it which isn't the end of the world but for $6, I expected better. The cheese garlic bread that is $9 is 4 1/2" thick slices, not really worth the price and definitely don't recommend. But the worst was the $20 calzone, barely any pepperoni and the top was burnt. Definitely a big flop picking here over other places. Now I see why it wasn't very busy inside. Save your money and go next door or across the street where the food is better. read more

I liked how crispy the crust was and their Colossal Pizza was good but both needed more marinara. Not too greasy either and as crazy as it sounds, right then, that is what kind of pizza I wanted. Close to 20 years of excellence. I have eaten at Joey's so many times that I feel like family when I walk in. The food is so good that it is hard to explain to people who have not had the opportunity to try it. All of the pizzas are great, and I love them, but the beef stroganoff is next level. The cabbage rolls (makes a motion to the heavens) are better than my Grandma's. Not hyperbole. I'll add some pictures the next time, but to be honest I forget to take a picture because the atmosphere is great and we are having a good time, so I forget. We came here this morning (12/15/19) to celebrate my birthday. Of course, I always want my first meal of any new year to be pizza. And this place gave us exactly what we wanted. We got here right at opening so we had the place to ourselves for a bit. Brooke took care of us and treated us great. She was very attentive, and she did a great job of selling us on the pizza. Brunch was also being served, and while that was considered as an option, she fortunately steered us in the right direction. The menu here has a lot of alternatives to just pizza, with a wide variety of salads, starters, and pastas available, as well as calzones and sandwiches. We started with the toasted ravioli, which I highly recommend. You can tell that they make them fresh - the seasoning on the ravioli and the dipping sauce complemented each other perfectly. The ravioli were crunchy on the outside, giving way to the creamy ricotta inside. Beautiful. We ordered a medium pizza, half meatball and half The Heap. The Heap is pretty much your typical supreme pizza mix. Well, typical as far as the ingredients, except these ingredients were super fresh. The sausage is made in house, and you can tell. I will say that the ravioli dipping sauce, the marinara, and the pizza crusts were very, very herby. I have never had pizza or sauce that herby, but it worked. It's Labor Day weekend and I was looking for something different. It's so easy to just order a pizza and have it delivered, but today the wife and I wanted to venture out to try something new and Joey's was just the thing. We arrived around 3pm, so it was the perfect window between the lunch and dinner rush. We had the place to ourselves and were able to truly enjoy our meal. The cheese breadsticks were to die for, especially if you got the Alfredo sauce to dip them in. Yum! The pizza was great too. We went pretty simple with just a 1-topping, but next time I'll be trying the BBQ Chicken for sure. All in all, very good food, great waitstaff, and a cool location.
