Colossal Meat Calzones This is the "small" size. It's goooood, and the bread was buttery.

The food was great. I didn't get pictures of the salad the came with my spaghetti or the meatball appetizer we had but both were great as well and their marinara sauce is homemade and it is sooooo good! Costumer service was very pleasing and they were so welcoming. Seems they get most of their traffic during dinner time they also have a bar. It's pretty dark in there as well.

This place has amazing pizza, meatballs and salads. Will try their pasta next time but was definitely satisfied by those dishes at least! Excellent iced teas as well. On the way out, saw their gelato selection which I definitely want to try next time as well. Attentive service and spacious interior atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Excellent service from the moment we walked through the door. The staff was so friendly and helpful when explaining the menu. The ambiance was classic pizzeria, albeit a little dark in the restaurant. There is ample seating, and it is large enough to accommodate groups. We enjoyed our food once we narrowed down our choices from the many options available. They have some unique offerings, including the Bianca Neve, which was touted as the most popular menu item. It was pretty good, but probably not the best they have to offer. I would return again if I am in the area, and I would save room for dessert next time because they have several good choices.

Had the Bianca Neve added chicken it was amazing!! Everyone at the table loved their dishes. It was all fresh and service was great!

    Chicken parmesan

Great service. Ordered Chicken parmesan. Just enough food not to feel stuffed. If I lived locally I would stop back again but sadly I'm just passing through town.

This was the inside of the calzone, for $20 I expected to have more then 2-4 pieces of pepperoni per piece of calzone.

Ordered Togo so that we could dine at a nearby brewery. Sadly the food was not worth the money. The lettuce had pieces of the stems in it which isn't the end of the world but for $6, I expected better. The cheese garlic bread that is $9 is 4 1/2" thick slices, not really worth the price and definitely don't recommend. But the worst was the $20 calzone, barely any pepperoni and the top was burnt. Definitely a big flop picking here over other places. Now I see why it wasn't very busy inside. Save your money and go next door or across the street where the food is better.

Fun pizza place with pretty good food. I got an Italian sandwich to go at this visit and it was fresh and tasty. The young girl that took my Order was nice and friendly. I will be back to try more menu items.

4/10/23 Half The Acadiana and Colossal Meat. Needed more marinara.

I was craving pizza so bad, I was close by, and I wanted to try a new place out so Joey's it was. The service was very nice but slow. I liked how crispy the crust was and their Colossal Pizza was good but both needed more marinara. Not too greasy either and as crazy as it sounds, right then, that is what kind of pizza I wanted. I don't feel like I'll be craving this pizza place in the future but not regretting my decision either.

Wow wow wow! Perhaps the best spinach dip I've ever tasted. Certainly the best breadsticks!! The pizza was phenomenal; the space was cool & inviting; and the service was fantastic!

Can't at enough about our experience at Joey's! The staff was so kind and welcoming, and the food was stellar. Don't skip the spinach artichoke dip: the breadsticks are perfect for soaking up the deliciousness. We had several kinds of pizza at our table, and it was all phenomenal. We will be back!

We arrived and were promptly seated. My girlfriend immediately noticed that it appeared to be all 'locals' - that's a good sign! It's not a 'modern' restaurant. It's apparently been there for a long time. It's comfortable and feels like a nice Italian restaurant (I've eaten at many restaurants in Italy so I have a little bit of an idea for authentic ambiance.) We received a basket of bread - delicious seasoning along with an oil dip. I'm a bit of a beer snob so I was happy to see a good IPA on their beer list. We both started with a dinner salad. My girlfriend had the Tortellini and I had the Chicken Scaloppine. Both were delicious. The waiter and waitress were prompt, courteous and helpful. The prices were reasonable. There was plenty of food. We didn't have room for dessert unfortunately so no recommendations there. It was an enjoyable experience. My girlfriend said she really enjoyed it and was very happy with my selection (whew!).

They now have removed the bar prep area to make room for more tables. Does change the atmosphere alittle but understand. The kitchen has always been with the Irish side adjoined. The lighting was nice, the vibe felt a little upscale without being stuffy, and it seemed like everyone there was having a good time. I ordered the carbonara, and wow, it was legit. Super creamy, flavorful, and the portion was bigger than I expected. The complimentary bread and dips were also dangerous because I could've easily filled up on those alone. My friend got a cocktail, and after stealing a sip, I kinda wished I'd ordered one too. Service was great overall. Everyone was friendly, and our server was on top of things without constantly interrupting the table.

The first thing that stood out was the atmosphere. It's not a huge restaurant, which actually made it feel more cozy and relaxed. The lighting was nice, the space felt inviting, and it worked really well for a date night or catching up with friends. Food-wise, everything tasted fresh and well made. The carbonara was rich and flavorful without feeling too heavy, and the complimentary bread with the dips disappeared way faster than expected. The cocktails were also really solid. Not the kind of place where drinks feel like an afterthought. The service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Our server checked in regularly without hovering, which I always appreciate.

Lamb Meatballs-very delicate & tender, lacked fresh herbs or cheese, but served in a vibrant marinara sauce. The Bolognese lacked the signature ingredients that define the dish, far from being Bolognese! Kudos for making homemade Pappardelle pasta, but pasta had no bite, over cooked to the mushy point. Bravo to server Michael, friendly, knowledge of menu, very attentive taking care that each course arrived with a fresh setting. We will go back to Piatto for dinner. Be prepared to make reservations for this child friendly restaurant with all the ambience (like street trolley tables) if you have a large party (6 or more) or young children who need to eat early, etc. As older adults, we were able to walk right in and eat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and conversational but also extremely efficient. My son and I had to be at a concert and we sat at the table for 17 minutes without being offered water or our order being taken , all the waiters and waitresses were trying not to make eye contact and dodging. I ended up flagging a manager, Joey came over and was super friendly and very helpful and prompt. He got us served right away after explaining to him the situation. The bread is always nice and warm and I always order the meat sauce spaghetti I had a salad this time with creamy Italian dressing. It was very delicious and my son got the chicken marsala with minestrone soup. Of course, the best part is dessert. We always get the spumoni ice cream. I love how they have a three course meal.
