Ordered a pizza for pickup. Got home and the entire pizza is grease. Pick up a piece and all the toppings fell off apparently much like this hideaway location. Update. I called to talk to a manager was told that it's pepperonis and that was just the way it is with the grease. The toppings are falling off and the saggy pizza is just the way it is. I've had a lot of pepperoni pizzas in my life but according to Hideaway they should all be covered in grease. Embarrassing for an Oklahoma institution at one time. Met a couple of friends at Hideaway after work since it was on the way for all of us. we got there a little before the dinner rush and only waited a few minutes for a table. the place has that old-school neighborhood pizza joint feel with a lot of quirky signs and artwork on the walls. it was busy by the time we left, but it never felt overly loud. we split a thin-crust pepperoni and sausage pizza, and that ended up being the right choice. The crust stayed crispy around the edges without getting too hard, and the pepperoni had those slightly curled, crispy edges that I always like. The sauce had a little more flavor than I expected, and everything tasted fresh without being greasy. We were sitted in a good size booth. Works good now that grandson doesn't have to have highchair anymore. We were really hungry so ordered 2 LG pizzas plus an order of cheesy mushrooms. This location accommodated a very large group of ours during a crazy time (softball tourney/WCWS) without issue. They don't take reservations, so there was a slight wait just due to the size of our group, but it was fine since we ordered drinks and apps. Their happy hour deals are worth a visit! The apps consisted of multiple rounds of garlic knots that all the kids couldn't get enough of. The fried pickles were crispy and were also a hit. We ordered the pepperoni pizza and let me tell you, those meat circles were crisped to perfection. We ordered a wedge with ranch dressing and having those blue cheese crumbles on top was something special. Let me get back to the happy hour deals though, wine and cocktails were literally 50% off. Love Hideaway Pizza! Never had a poor experience. Fried mushrooms are the best I've ever had!

I badly wanted to give this a better review because the pizza was actually decent, but the overall experience was sadly tainted by how long it took us to be seated. We came here on a Sunday night and it was surprisingly a bit busy although there were empty tables. There were a couple of parties ahead of us that were seated relatively quickly. We had a party of 9, (with 3 kids under 7 and a toddler), and if you're a parent then you know how imperative it is to be seated quickly, especially after 7pm. We checked in with the host at 7:45pm, and were told we had a 20 min wait. We waited patiently to be seated while 2 more large parties came in after us, but were strangely seated before us. After almost double the time of waiting, we checked in with the host again, only to discover that we had been skipped over, not once, but twice! It wasn't until 8:24pm that we were finally seated after the staff had to scramble to put together some tables for us. We sat about 4 minutes before we were addressed by the waitress for our section. She was nice and it certainly wasn't her fault for skipping us in the order of seating. She took our order and we got our drinks by 8:35pm. The pizzas finally got to our table by almost 9pm. Needless to say, we weren't too pleased being skipped over twice before we were seated, especially when we waited as long as we did and with hungry children. The only reason I'm giving an extra star is that the food was pretty good and our server was attentive and even kind enough to bring out some pizza dough for the kids to play with while they waited for the food. Please do a better job of being more cognizant of the order your customers check in. I understand sometimes skipping line does happen but there's no excuse for it to happen twice in one sitting. There are several Zoomer staff members, and they're some of the kindest, friendliest, helpingest, willing to go above-and-beyond-est wait staff you'll meet. The pizza and stuff is like every other Hideaway in that it'll be good, and you'll like it, assuming you didn't get weird on your pizza choices (call me a stickler, but mandarin oranges on pizza is wrong and you should feel bad for liking it). Unless you don't like pizza at all, in which case... That's on you, because the name of the restaurant gives away what you're about to get... I like the thin crust here. It's not that thin, but it's a nice balance between their traditional hand-tossed crust, and a really thin crust from other pizza places. My favorite pizza place in the OKC area hands down!!!! I've visited the Norman locations and I just love their pizza. Happy hour is 4-7 PM Monday through Thursday, and all bar drinks are 1/2 half. We got a pitcher of beer for $10. We got the Buffalo wings to share, and the ATW pizza. My boyfriend loves pizza and he was visiting from out of state, and this is his now his favorite place. The pizzas are full of flavor. Toppings are plentiful. Every bite was filled with flavor! I can't wait to come back again :) Service was wonderful! Ambiance was great at this location. Although I have been coming back here every once in a while over the last few months, it had been a long time since I had tried their pizza. Mostly doing quick lunches before meetings, I have only had their mushrooms and Greek salad the last times I have visited. This time, I had a very late lunch after a long day of work - and it was time to destroy a pizza. We ordered a large specialty pizza - half Pollinator and half Hurricane. You can look on their website for the list of ingredients for each one - but we both liked the Pollinator the best. The cup pepperoni was crisp and just greasy enough - it was a nice balance with the other meats, banana peppers, and honey. It had a nice bite without any one ingredient being overwhelming. The Hurricane half was also delicious with a nice combo of veggies and meats. My buddy had a half Cimarron, half Big Country pizza. He loved both halves, but said he would probably do a Cimarron next time with some tweaks on the meats. All three of us scarfed down our pizzas with zero regrets. Devon at the bar took good care of us even with the capacity crowd they were dealing with right after the marathon. Oh, and since I brought up some recent past meals here, their claim to having the best fried mushrooms in the state is well-deserved. Hands down. Very solid pizza joint chain in OKC - historically originating in Stillwater near the OSU campus - this location in Automobile Alley is convenient due to being close to the law school I teach at, hence being an ideal lunch spot. The fried mushrooms (a signature dish - pictured) and their spicy pickles are very good - as are the four sauces that accompany them. My favorite of the four is the orange colored one, although I'm not sure what it is exactly (the other three are ranch, bleu cheese, and marinara). Second time I've been to this location and both times I ordered a pizza with pineapple. First time I got the Maui (pineapple with ham or Canadian bacon slices), and this second time I got the Bomb (pineapple, meat and this excellent slightly sweet balsamic sauce/glaze) - truly Da Bomb. P.S.: Still trying to figure out what the mascot is, either it's a ghost or ball of pizza dough with a conscience. Upon asking several employees and consulting the website, the mascot is apparently the "Big Kahuna" - with some theories being established towards the latter. Highly recommended overall! read more

Not much going on downtown but I found this pizza place when searching for food close to my hotel and it hit the spot. I dined in on a Monday afternoon around 2:50pm. I just caught the lunch special that ends at 3pm. $3 off a small pizza, $2 off baked pasta and $1 off salads. I was greeted and sat promptly, pizza took no more than 8 minutes to arrive, service was great and the food was good. I ordered a pasta to go and while I ate the server kept the pasta in the warmer for me. I got an iced tea to drink and got to keep the cup....not that I need another one...just saying.
