She was yelling at her employees across the kitchen in front of a restaurant full of people. Talking crap about the employees in front of the customers. Tossing and slamming the pizzas around, no thank you, your welcome. I understand she may be frustrated, during rush hour, but no manager should treat her employees or customers the way she did. I went to ask to speak to the manager, and realized it was her. I will be calling corporate, nobody should feel uncomfortable employees or customers. I don't even know where to start. My husband and I tried Blaze Pizza on a whim and now it's our go-to pizza spot. I never thought I'd find a pizza place in LA with fresh mixer Ella and ricotta. Augh, I love it so much. Not only that, but every time we come the device is fantastic. I really hate to do this because i personally love this place so much and find It better quality and taste compared to the Pizza Rev down the street but here we go. My boyfriend and i came in on Friday night around 7 and It wasn't busy. We went in and processed to order. I ordered my pizza and the girl who helped us( i don't remember her name i do remember It started with a J) wasn't even wearing her mask correctly. My boyfriend processed to ask questions about GF because he has a gluten allergy he ended up ordering the Keto crust which she stated was GF. When we asked her to label It as a GF allergy to help prevent cross contamination she looked at us confused and then gave us dirty look and processed to make our pizzas. Another gentleman come and helped her make our two pizzas (both employees still not wearing masks properly) and NEVER ONCE did she tell him it was an allergy or did they take ANY precautions to help with cross contamination. They used the same spoons to spreed sauce and never did a glove change. Once the pizza come out i let the guy know who was cutting them if he could use a separate cutter and he did but again wasn't aware it was an allergy Pizza. My boyfriend ended up getting sick and having a Gluten reaction 2 hours after consumption. I know you guys are not certified GF so it's possible he would get sick, that's a chance we take going anywhere. But the lack of knowledge and lack of caution even when we told the staff it was an allergy was really what was upsetting. Over all i was really disappointed with the service. Iv been coming here since the day y'all opened and have had nothing but great experience but this one time messed everything up. I normally don't write reviews but when it's something serious like my boyfriend getting sick and being in pain for hours, then something needs to be said. If it's a diet or preference this place is great but if you have actual allergy or gluten intolerant definitely go to Pizza Rev down the street, they are more knowledgeable and take allergies more serious and will insure safe food to eat. read more

First of all my family and I visit this Blaze often and hey have yet to disappoint but tonight I was so blown away with the 5 star service we received across the board that I had to stop eating my food to do this help review before I left. When we walked in we were greeted by everyone behind the counter. Then in line Asijana hand crafted my two build your own pizzas so well that I wanted her to give herself a pat on the back. Liana crafted our other BYO so well there wasn't a morsel left on the tray! Both ladies were fast and friendly. Dalvin always provides us a warm experience when he cooks the pizzas to perfection and while he was waiting on those he always make sure that everybody has what they need, whether it's a ranch more drink it doesn't matter. Brightest star of this evening one by far Blaine who hit us with the sincerest "Thank you guys for being here I really appreciate you!" What! You appreciate me? For real?! We walked away feeling on cloud 9 like damn, finally someone appreciates me spending my hard earned dollars at their place of business. The way this man spoke you would have thought he was the owner. He made us feel all good inside. Even if the food was boo-boo we would still come back just because his customer service was so on point. My great grandmother whom I was very close to passed away today and this was the type of experience I needed to end a long hard day. Should be common sense as an employee to just ask the customers standing outside: "is anyone just waiting for an online order for pickup?" My sister and I stood outside a good 10-15 minutes waiting for our online order before they finally let us in and when we said "we're just here for pick-up" the girl looked stuck on stupid and said "oh really? you could've just came in" Now how would we know that? No one walked outside and said anything that welcomed people who are just picking up, letting them know they can just come in. Now my food is cold because it was just sitting there and I'm unhappy. The staff should know better. Like I said, common sense. Don't have people standing out in the cold when they thought they found a simple way of ordering, ask them if they're going to order or if they've already done so and let them in so they can be out of your hair quicker. However wait wasn't too long and the staff were super friendly. All the tables were full but as we made our way through the line it started to clear out enough to where people in line could start snagging tables if they wanted to dine in. So you start with your dough and choose a sauce .. I opted for the spicy red , didn't notice a reduced fat or low fat cheese option but opted for mozzarella and ricotta , I don't get any meat but they had a good assortment of them to choose from, I did notice going through the line several people from different "stations" would jump in work on part of your pizza then go back to something else then the other person would come back,then they would come back(I think this maybe was due to the rush of people they got?).. I was used to a person did cheese, this person does meat, this person does veggies, But they were all kinda everywhere in all the stations.. Which left them a bit haphazard and messy like some veggies in bins they shouldn't be etc... The veggie topping options are plenty ,I Topped mine with basil, spinach, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes ,chopped garlic and diced zucchini.( BF got plain red and his cheese and other toppings -didn't pay attention to what he selected). The busser was on top of cleaning tables , checking to see if anyone needed anything and would bring napkins, pepper,cheese shaker to the patrons that asked. Overall good experience. This place is pretty darn good. $8 bucks buys you a 12 inch pizza, 6 slices, unlimited toppings. That's not too bad at all. The pizza ingredients were tastee and the staff were very friendly. Nice set up inside but I think they could of increased the table seating inside. I went during a non peak hour so had no issues but I could see it being rather cramped if it was busy. The blood orange lemonade was rather yummy as well. $2 for their s'more dessert which my kids devoured. And they didn't charge for ranch which I they always do when I go to Pizza Rev.. I say this place is a hit and I definitely would come back. Only gripe is they are skimpy on the cheese so for all of my 4 pies, I had to ask her to add more cheese. Just might of been that one server, or maybe that's just how they roll. But with unlimited toppings, just ask to add more so not a big issue. read more

I've visited blaze pizza about 4 times now and overall I love it. The ordering is simple and great and their prices are the best. They have a nice selection that can cater to your eating habit which is nice since my first two trips were under a vegan diet and it was easy to order! The atmosphere is, basic pizza place. I dont care for their dough. Taste artificial and cheap. I like real pizza from italian resturants. Same with their toppings, all premade stuff with little flavor. Avoid their meatballs. I think the employees who cut my pizza must have been high. The "shapes" that constituted slices were vaguely triangular and multisized. The guy who made the pizza asked me what i wanted and then stared off into space and I had to repeat my order multiple times, but he was perfectly nice. The crust is tasty but very floppy. They have a crust which is nice, yet it comes at the cost of overall thickness. They are incredibly stingy with ingredients, so much so that every songle item they added (including the sauce) I had to ask for a bit more. Small but reasonable selection of ingredients with a nice variety. If this was the only "build your own pizza" place in town I'd give it a better review, but with pizza Rev literally JUST down the street I think it's dissapointing to say the least. read more
