    Chocolate Gelato From Leo Leo
    LaChell S.

Slice house made my solo lunch easy with quick service, friendly staff and plenty of seating. I grabbed a slice of cheese pizza and it was simple and satisfying. I finished with a chocolate gelato that was rich and creamy but not too sweet. They've got tons of pizza topping combinations plus wine and beer. I'm definitely coming back with a group.

Right next to Krispy Kreme. Patio or inside seating available. Pizza by the slice, pan or deep dish. Choose your crust style and toppings. So many combinations to choose from. Good service. Salad was fresh. The pesto pasta dish was flavorful and pasta had a good bite to it would definitely order that again. Though our pizza order took almost an hour it was delicious when it arrived. We had an individual non gluten crust and regular pizza. Inside was clean and organized with self serve fountain drinks.

In my experience, this was one of the best slices of pizza I've had. Very soft and crunchy at the same time. It tasted fresh. The service was a little slow (?) since the slices are ready to go, but somehow it took over 5 min to get it to your table.

Discovered this gem by accident, and wow -- I'm so glad I did. The pizza was absolutely delicious, affordable, and the portions were huge. My kids each got pepperoni and cheese slices, and I'm not exaggerating when I say one slice was big enough to feed both kids. For only $5 a slice, the value was unbelievable. Great taste, generous portions, and budget-friendly prices are hard to find these days. I honestly can't believe I hadn't been here before. We'll definitely be back!

This place must be new because when we were through here last it wasn't here...anywho....we decided to try just the slices this time...my husband went with the traditional pepperoni...and it was delicious the cheese is perfect, a great mozzarella not cheap...I went with their"wise guy" slice and I'm sorry to say was not impressed...it sounded good...it's a blend of sausages, ricotta ( a bold choice) and the sauce it starts out sweet but it degenerates fast into a weird spice that didn't blend well...so I like d the topping blend but not the sauce...oh and both the crusts were spot on...perfect! Our son's pizza was so hard he had a hard time eating it...it was a small piece and he ended up finishing my piece... The service was spot on and the gentleman at the counter was great, he greeted us and explained that we could only get a slice of what was there...if we wanted to try anything else we would need to get a pie...and we have decided that the next time we're in town we're going to try that...there is a pie we want to try...... If you've read any of our reviews you know we like our pizza...and this is good pizza...worth it even from the reheat...I really can't wait to eat it hot from the oven... Oh!!!' And they offer Cannoli for dessert!!! That makes the trip worth it right there...

    Yum!

We just tried Slice House for lunch and were seriously impressed. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive--something that makes a huge difference. The pizza was absolutely amazing. You can tell right away that the quality of ingredients and craftsmanship are top-notch. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly done. It's not always easy to find a place that nails both the food and the experience, but Slice House definitely does. We'll 100% be back and will be recommending it to others.

This is our second time getting pizza from here and it was better the first time. We got a 20 in pep and a slice of BBQ chicken. There was barely any sauce on the pep pizza. But still good. The slice of the BBQ I think it was sitting out for too long. The chicken was old and dried out. I would get it again if it was fresh. Staff was very nice & professional!!

Was in the mood for a pizza and a co-worker suggested we try Slice House. Ordered a medium pepperoni with extra pepperoni. What we got a was a medium pepperoni, no extra. When I picked it up and seen that, I asked them about it and they claimed that was extra pepperoni. If what we received was considered extra pepperoni, what is regular pepperoni, 6 pieces of meat? While the pizza tasted good and was not greasy or doughy, just disappointed that extra pepperoni was not there.

I had been keeping an eye out on this place ever since I saw the "Coming Soon" banner, specially since this place is close to my job. One day, while looking for places to go to during my lunch, I decided to call in and ask if they pizza ready to go or if it was made to order and I had to wait a lot of time. The girl that answered was extremely helpful and friendly, she informed me they had some "Lunch Specials" but unfortunately after a few minutes, the called dropped, so I decided to drive over and check it out. Once I arrived, I saw they did in fact have many different pizza options, between New York, Detroit and Sicilian Style pizzas, and they also have different specials depending on the day. I went ahead and grabbed the lunch special, which was BBQ chicken pizza (Friday) and it included a small side salad (caesar) and a drink. The pepperoni pizza looked really good and so I decided to order an extra slice. I think this place is one of the best when it comes to getting your money's worth. The food was really really good and I in fact did not finish it, I ate half of the BBQ chicken slice and half of the pepperoni, I left the remaining food for dinner. While I was waiting for my food, I saw a giant pizza come to a table next to me, so I will be coming in soon to order one of those pizzas. The place seemed clean and open, although it was busy, it seemed as if many people were ordering to go. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the girl who helped me over the phone, which was the same one that took my order, however I want to say THANK YOU for being so helpful. I'll definitely be back!

The best pizza place ever. I hate pizza honestly but this is the only pizza place I'll eat from. Its so yummy!

One of the best pizza places that we had so far in the AV. We were greeted with a walk welcome and were given a rundown on the different kinds of pizzas. I love the variety and the taste is amazing. My only wish is that it was a large size restaurant with more seating, like booths, but that's only cause my son doesn't like to sit still. But that's only still no issue or in no way affects my rating! We will be back to try new flavors! Thank you Emily, so your wonderful customer service, and more thanks to the owner as well!!

Decided to drop by for their ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by Palmdale Chambers of Commerce. It was especially busy today since it opened fairly recently. They sell both whole and single sliced pizza, and I opt for a single slice since I didn't have an appetite for a whole pizza. I got their slice of the day (Friday) called Little Italy. The pizza had a thick yet soft crust making it all too enjoyable. The cost for my slice of pizza is $7.50; the pricing here is on the upper end. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. I noticed indoor seating has 5-6 tables ranging from 2/4 seaters to 6/8 seaters. They also have a single seaters for folks. They are located in a plaza so there is plentiful of parking here. It's near an Aldi so you can shop afterwards.

The pepperoni is dry and stuck to the dry cheese.

This was my first visit here. The customer service was great. The ambiance was nice very clean and signage was excellent. I ordered one slice of pepperoni pizza, I live 5 mins. From the restaurant and when I got home the pizza was hard as a rock, the pepperoni was hard as a crouton. Costco $1 sliced pizza is better. This was a waste of $7. That ruined my dinner.

Ask the Community - Slice House by Tony Gemignani

Are you guys considering coupons to introduce to the neighborhood ? No I accidentally found out about this place.

Hi Rouben! Thanks for reaching out! Sorry we are not following your question- can you please clarify? Thanks!

Do they sell pizza by the slice? How much? Thanks!

Well yes it's by the Slice! They are giant slices ! Depending on what kind of slice you get is how much it is if you look at the website it will tell you the prices. You can also buy whole pizzas..

Do you have a happy hour?

Thanks for reaching out! Indeed! Monday through Friday, from 3 to 5 p.m., if you purchase any craft beer, you get a $3 slice (cheese or pepperoni).

Can you call in an order to pick up?

Great question! You sure can but the fastest/ easiest way to order for pick up is by ordering on the Slice House app or website here: https://slicehouse.orderexperience.net/palmdale/menu.

Food 3-5 - we've had mixed experiences, but mostly very good. There aren't any off menu requests accepted. One cannot replace ingredients. One can only remove specific items from a menu choice. Don't even ask. Apparently the chef's policy is absolute. Ambiance 4-5 nicely decorated and designed. Has a high end feel that is unusual for the AV. So why the 3 stars? One single experience. My wife asked the server (Jackie) if it would be possible to get a side of sauteed mushrooms. She said probably not as it's not permitted by the chef. We asked to speak to the manager to express our disappointment. When Jake showed up, before we uttered a word, he stated that it's just something they don't do, so no to our request. Then he turned and walked away. There was no dialogue. It was a one way conversation. In essence, we and our request were dismissed. The experience was incredibly off-putting. It was unnecessary to respond to a patron's request in that manner. Totally unacceptable. I write this review to memorialize the experience for others, because it won't matter to the owner/chef/management. It seems, judging by their total lack of response to other reviews, good or bad, that it really doesn't. Typical dinners we've had run a tab of $150-200 (including tip). We have visited 1-2 times a month for the past two years. We have brought friends and family on several occasions, generating additional per-visit revenue for the restaurant. Again, this doesn't seem to matter. So, sadly, we're going to have to take a leave of this place. Too bad really.

There was plenty of parking in this lot. The entrance is located through their patio, which can be a bit counter intuitive. We came at opening and the restaurant got really busy during our time there. Initially we were looking at the sandwiches because it was lunch time, but then we were going to a wedding that night so we decided to eat something more filling since the ceremony and speeches always delay the eating. All entrees here are served with black beans and rice or congri, and 3 fried plantains. My boyfriend had the Ropa Vieja ($28) with the congri and I had the Lechon Asado ($25) with the rice and beans. Our food came out pretty fast after we ordered. My boyfriend's Ropa Vieja is a Cuban braised beef. The congri is basically a mix of the rice and beans. This dish was super tasty and the shredded beef was so tender with the bell peppers and onions. I can really taste the red wine and tomato sauce in the base. I took a few bites but in general I preferred my dish more, and vis versa he enjoyed his dish more. My lechon asado is a roasted pork that is super super tenderrrrrr. It was so sweet with the grilled onions and it had the perfect amount of fattiness without being over bearing. SO GOOD! Love the plaintains too. I'm glad I got the rice and beans option because I would have gotten too full too quick with the congri. I barely touched my beans and only got through half of my rice. Both dishes came with this super tasty garlic butter sauce that I poured on my rice and made it even tastier. It was so good. One thing I didn't enjoy about the experience was the flies attacking us and our food. Since the door is open and connected to their outdoor space, it leaves the opportunities for flies to come in. We had to play defense with the flies the whole time. The service here is a little slow. Especially when I was trying to get back on the road I wasn't feeling too patient. I waived down multiple staff members too. Also I got hit with an undisclosed 3% surcharge for using my credit card. I only found out after I got the receipt. I would have paid in cash if I knew. *dislike* LOVE LOVE LOVE the food. Might be the best Cuban food I've ever had... and I've been to Florida where there was a lot of Cuban spots. The food quality is spectacular! I always get the Baracoa Cubano sandwich and it never disappoints. The ingredients are fresh and organic with each dish I've ordered. Since I have allergies to ingredients used to preserve frozen food, it's always been so hard finding a restaurant with a menu that doesn't cause me issues--and Baracoa has never compromised with their ingredients! The organic quality of their food is something you'll taste on your first bite. And finally--the service is impeccable and I have yet to see such excellent hospitality at any restaurant I've visited, even in Los Angeles! The waiters are always kind, attentive, and energetic with their behavior and service. It's very easy to tell they love the work they do and it shows in their work ethic. In addition to that, the managers are always making sure we're having an excellent night and have transformed it to a level of service we've never seen! My parents and I went a week ago and talked to Daniel the Manager about how much we missed a Piña Colada from a closed restaurant which would make it in the pineapple itself--and he said if we promised to be there in a week he's make it himself. We came on Friday, and the joy that my family felt was palpable when Daniel came out with the drinks we've wished for years now since that restaurant closed! Honestly, I've never heard of someone caring for their guests so much to do that--truly everyone should visit this establishment and experience true fine dining. I don't think I'll ever eat anywhere else for a special occasion ever again.

The decor alone is stunning -- dried roses hanging from the ceiling and so many thoughtful little touches that make the whole experience feel special and intentional. The waiters and host were amazing, super kind and accommodating, and the service was perfect. The food was fresh, well-seasoned, and delicious.
