The menu offerings are well thought out. The different styles of pizza (New York, Detroit, Sicilian and Grandma) and the various toppings combos give patrons reasons to come back to try new things. IMO the NY style is the least well executed, but it's well ahead of most NY pizza in the area. Although I appreciate not skimping on toppings, the NY had a bit too much. It would be better if it were a little thinner and had a teensie bit less of everything on it. It's also baked on an aluminum screen (visible on the undercarriage) which leads to a finished bake that's not quite as good as baking directly on the deck. The square styles were executed better. The Detroit is really bready. I think the grandma slices are the best pizza that they offer. read more

I ordered a slice of Wise Guy from the counter. I was a bit surprised that they didn't hand the slice over immediately. That's because the slices on the counter aren't heated so they take it to warm it up for a few minutes before handing it over. For $7.50, the slice is humongous. The pizza is good. I really like the curled up pepperoni and the other meats on this slice. The dollops of ricotta are also satisfying. The crust is good too. The only area for improvement in my opinion is the sauce. For the quality, cost, and convenience - this will probably be my go-to pizza place in the area. read more

Salad was fresh. The pesto pasta dish was flavorful and pasta had a good bite to it would definitely order that again. Though our pizza order took almost an hour it was delicious when it arrived. In my experience, this was one of the best slices of pizza I've had. Very soft and crunchy at the same time. It tasted fresh. The service was a little slow (?) since the slices are ready to go, but somehow it took over 5 min to get it to your table. read more

We've been to Tony's Slice House twice now, and both times we ate inside the restaurant. They offer pizza by the slice or whole pies, which is super convenient. The place is clean, and the cashiers have been helpful both times patiently looking over the menu with us and answering all of our questions without hesitation. We usually go with one slice of pizza and a salad. The food is super delicious. The pizza comes out hot and flavorful, and the salad is always crisp and cold exactly how I like it. Everything tastes fresh and well-made. The prices are on the higher side. I don't mind paying more for good food, but it does make this more of a "special treat" spot for us rather than an everyday stop. Even so, we still come back because the food really is that good. Would I recommend it? Yes. Try it at least once. You'll taste the quality. read more

This place must be new because when we were through here last it wasn't here...anywho....we decided to try just the slices this time...my husband went with the traditional pepperoni...and it was delicious the cheese is perfect, a great mozzarella not cheap...I went with their"wise guy" slice and I'm sorry to say was not impressed...it sounded good...it's a blend of sausages, ricotta ( a bold choice) and the sauce it starts out sweet but it degenerates fast into a weird spice that didn't blend well...so I like d the topping blend but not the sauce...oh and both the crusts were spot on...perfect! Our son's pizza was so hard he had a hard time eating it...it was a small piece and he ended up finishing my piece... The service was spot on and the gentleman at the counter was great, he greeted us and explained that we could only get a slice of what was there...if we wanted to try anything else we would need to get a pie...and we have decided that the next time we're in town we're going to try that...there is a pie we want to try...... Discovered this gem by accident, and wow -- I'm so glad I did. The pizza was absolutely delicious, affordable, and the portions were huge. My kids each got pepperoni and cheese slices, and I'm not exaggerating when I say one slice was big enough to feed both kids. For only $5 a slice, the value was unbelievable. First let me tell you I came here to see if the Raiders game was going to be played on the TV. I also was craving pizza and I was at the AV mall which across the street so I was like I can get pizza and watch a lil of the game . So I got to Slice and saw a pizza I never tasted the americano which I thought was a coffee drink. So I got that the traditional and Rosa man I took the traditional down before the raiders scored I intended on having a bite from each but nope before I knew it gone and I was like oh well so that's what's in the pictures except a pic of the traditional it was wonderful and the others look good too can't wait to finish it off. Was in the mood for a pizza and a co-worker suggested we try Slice House. Ordered a medium pepperoni with extra pepperoni. What we got a was a medium pepperoni, no extra. When I picked it up and seen that, I asked them about it and they claimed that was extra pepperoni. If what we received was considered extra pepperoni, what is regular pepperoni, 6 pieces of meat? While the pizza tasted good and was not greasy or doughy, just disappointed that extra pepperoni was not there. read more

I had been keeping an eye out on this place ever since I saw the "Coming Soon" banner, specially since this place is close to my job. One day, while looking for places to go to during my lunch, I decided to call in and ask if they pizza ready to go or if it was made to order and I had to wait a lot of time. The girl that answered was extremely helpful and friendly, she informed me they had some "Lunch Specials" but unfortunately after a few minutes, the called dropped, so I decided to drive over and check it out. Once I arrived, I saw they did in fact have many different pizza options, between New York, Detroit and Sicilian Style pizzas, and they also have different specials depending on the day. I went ahead and grabbed the lunch special, which was BBQ chicken pizza (Friday) and it included a small side salad (caesar) and a drink. The pepperoni pizza looked really good and so I decided to order an extra slice. I think this place is one of the best when it comes to getting your money's worth. The food was really really good and I in fact did not finish it, I ate half of the BBQ chicken slice and half of the pepperoni, I left the remaining food for dinner. While I was waiting for my food, I saw a giant pizza come to a table next to me, so I will be coming in soon to order one of those pizzas. The place seemed clean and open, although it was busy, it seemed as if many people were ordering to go. Decided to drop by for their ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by Palmdale Chambers of Commerce. It was especially busy today since it opened fairly recently. They sell both whole and single sliced pizza, and I opt for a single slice since I didn't have an appetite for a whole pizza. I got their slice of the day (Friday) called Little Italy. The pizza had a thick yet soft crust making it all too enjoyable. The cost for my slice of pizza is $7.50; the pricing here is on the upper end. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. I noticed indoor seating has 5-6 tables ranging from 2/4 seaters to 6/8 seaters. They also have a single seaters for folks. They are located in a plaza so there is plentiful of parking here. It's near an Aldi so you can shop afterwards. read more

One of the best pizza places that we had so far in the AV. We were greeted with a walk welcome and were given a rundown on the different kinds of pizzas. I love the variety and the taste is amazing. My only wish is that it was a large size restaurant with more seating, like booths, but that's only cause my son doesn't like to sit still. This was my first visit here. The customer service was great. The ambiance was nice very clean and signage was excellent. I ordered one slice of pepperoni pizza, I live 5 mins. From the restaurant and when I got home the pizza was hard as a rock, the pepperoni was hard as a crouton. Costco $1 sliced pizza is better. This was a waste of $7. That ruined my dinner. read more

Finally, some legit pizza in the antelope Valley. I've been eating at the one in Thousand Oaks for about a year as that's where I work. The New York style is very good but I think my favorite is the Grandma style. It's almost like a thin, deep dish very crispy and light. I recommend the Angelina the wise guy and the sweet Gino but the sweet Gino is very sweet so beware people working were very nice and the dining room looks similar to the other locations. read more

Went opening day to this new location and enjoyed my experience. Of course on opening day it got crowded, but all the employees were very attentive. The owner came table to table thanking everyone. While I know that won't be the experience every time, the other employees were making sure our needs were met and made sure we were happy with the product and service. I have been to other Tony G restaurants and have been to a Slice House and this location was just as delicious. We ordered a Wise Guy, a tomato pie/red top, a Grandma cheese, and a 12 inch pepperoni. All the sliced pizzas were reheated so the bottom was nicely toasted. The Grandma slice had a sweeter sauce where you could really taste the tomato sauce with its simplicity(in a good way). The wise guy had little dollops of ricotta, sweet and spicy sausage and had a perfect amount of Tony's Hot Honey on the pizza to give it nice depth of flavor. The tomato pie was a great piece of pizza! I personally lean more toward a saucy pizza and this pizza for the bill! The 12 inch was very delightful. Being fresh and hot out of the oven, this pizza was perfection. I think people who are complaining about not having enough cheese basically want to eat cheese and bread. Pizza is not meant to solely taste like cheese. All of the elements need to compliment each other and that's what this pizza is! Not one element over powering the other. Even with not being able to get extra sauce(my one negative for this), I was still able to taste the sauce. And the crust is amazing. The crust itself has so much flavor and the texture is just right. Not too chewy and has a nice crisp bottom that makes the foundation of this pizza outstanding. The restaurants that I have been to have all exceeded my expectations and this Slice House did it as well! read more

Honored to be the first review of our new go to pizza place! My second ever job was at an artisanal pizza place in town during high school. I fell in love and developed a new love for pizza back then. We didn't know what to expect but were wildly impressed. We ordered one slice of the pepperoni, which was an elevated experience of a classic as well as a giant but welcomed slice. Also tried the traditional which was pizza on a cloud of chewy light dough. I've never tried a crust like this. Lastly was the sweet gino and OMG, the sweet and savory toppings with a crunchy unique crust was incredible. The passion it the product is evident in the results. What I loved most was the variety. Often times pizza places only have one crust and pretty consistent flavor. The only consistent thing here is quality, passion and variety. Additionally the service was exceptional. The greeting as we walked in, the welcoming smiles, the courteous young man who rung us up and Carolyn who was beyond kind in the dining room. You could tell the passion for their brand in every encounter we had. Lastly the place has a simple and clean design with a fun expression through their pizza box artwork. I did have the slice cut in half but was only able to eat one half of the slice due to the unfortunate extremely dry crust and tasteless flavor. Visiting from out of town. Stopped by on a Friday night. The place was busy. I was looking forward to try their pizza as it looks good and based on the crowd, it must be good. Placed my order for 20" Combo Americano for takeout as the dining area was full and no available seating. And it was too cold to sit outside. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to try their pizza. 40 minutes later after I placed my order, they still haven't called my name. I went up to the counter to follow up and was told that they haven't even started making my order. And that it will take another 20 minutes. Very disappointed and not happy as it is getting late and am very hungry. Cancelled my order, they told me it will get refunded to my credit card. Hopefully that's not another issue I'll have to deal with in a few days. They seem to be very short staffed. Both staff working the counter are taking orders, running back and forth to the kitchen, delivering food to the tables and those waiting for take out. They seem overwhelmed. Ordered two 12" pizzas (paid $60) when I arrived at home and opened the boxes, it was extremely disappointing that it actually looked like i ordered 2 cheese pizzas. First off, I'm a fan of Round Table and Toppers pizza. That being said, my new FAVORITE is Slice House in Palmdale. The service is GREAT! The pizza is beyond my expectations. Prior to this the best pizza I've had was in Bethpage NY. This is as good, if not better! I also don't have to get on a plane to enjoy a really good slice or pie. Call ahead and pick up, or, order in and eat or take out. The delivery is through Door Dash or Uber Eats, but, don't take the chance. The pizza is delicious, but that's about it. I went right after they opened and it's gone downhill since. The toppings are never set out (you have to ask and they get annoyed), and it's hit or miss whether they'll have any more slices available than cheese/pepperoni/thick crust. Day or night, weekend or weekday, this seems to be consistent. They prioritize mobile orders, so you'll get your pizza whenever they finish making pizzas for people who aren't physically present. I stopped by today to get a flavor of the day and a Wiseguy, and they said it was a 40-minute wait before it was even possible to begin making more of those flavor of pies. I left. Kinda disappointing. They don't know whether they want to be a slice joint or a whole pie joint, whether to prioritize in house customers or mobile orders, and it shows. Employees don't seem particularly thrilled to be there either. I've walked away empty handed and disappointed from Slice House more often than not. read more

Two months ago I would have given a 5 star review... Back when the corporate trainers were there still and the first batch of employees were working. Now that they aren't around anymore the standards seem to have fallen hard. I was willing to overlook the insane prices when the pizza was really good but now it's mediocre so paying $80 for two pizzas just doesn't seem acceptable anymore. The most recent time I was there, they didn't even know if the pizza was supposed to have sauce or not... I said it is supposed to have sauce so they took it in the back and a few minutes later returned and handed it to me. I opened to check and dipped my finger in to confirm my suspicion.... Yup. Cold sauce just dumped on my hot pizza. I told the person the sauce was cold but she tried to say it was hot (it clearly wasn't...) I didn't want to stand there and argue so I said fuck it... It's only $80 worth of pizza. As I was walking out the door I heard her say something and turned around... I asked what she said and she said "do you want me to refund you?" And I said no don't worry about it. I was pissed but I wasn't trying to get free food... Then I hear her say "I'm gonna refund you" so I just shrugged to myself and left. Anyway... Never did get the refund but oh well. I've probably been to slice house ten times or more since they opened in Palmdale.. Almost every weekend. I think I'm done for a while. Maybe I'll give it another shot eventually but I'm not thrilled to pay $80 for two mediocre pizzas again. I can get that at Dominos or Pizza hut. read more
